I bought this o-cedar mop & bucket and after one unsatisfying try… I returned it. I didn’t like that after I mopped I couldn’t rinse the mop vigorously in the bucket before ringing it out to mop again. Just submerging it in the bucket was not good for me. So I got a 360* spin mop & bucket and now I can rinse the mop vigorously after ever pass on the floor and spin the mop out too. I will say o-cedar didn’t spin the mop out well at all. It was still dripping and saturated with water. But I don’t have that trouble anymore either… with the 360* spin mop & bucket I get a perfect clean every time. Nice review on the o-cedar 😉
I don't understand why they didn't make the bucket two sided so that the dirty water doesn't mix with the clean water when spinning. Makes no sense. Edit: I'm going to buy the iMop because of that. It has a system that keeps the dirty water separate. You should check that mop out/review it. It's very cool. I say that because you do such a thorough, wonderful job with your reviews.
whether old or new system, I don't like O-Cedar's bucket and its mop is too small, I need to spend more time and energy to do the cleaning of all house... 😅😅😅I feel so exhausted but finally I found a new mop and that's what I want to share, 💁♀the mop Tsmine RinseWise is also made of microfiber, with 4 tanks which 2 are liftable, the bottom has wheels so I don't need to lift the heavy bucket to every corner of the house. anyway I'm so thankful to meet Tsmine RinseWise and hope everyone to choose it for your own self❣
Trust me when I tell you, that you can slop mop and dry it thouroughly in no time. I usually just spin it slightly for first pass. Floor is left cleaner with heavyier solution. Then I rinse by spinning hard (not going to break spinner) and go back over where you mopped before. It'll be dry in no time. Something to note: Do not stop the mop from spinning instantly, you can snap the internal plastic tightener. Had to repair using epoxy on the stick itself, won't retract anymore.
@@cherylbrantley4736 Yep, it locks in place with plastic expanders inside the handle. If you spin it hard and continually stop it abruptly while spinning, the grey expander will eventually break.
@@cherylbrantley4736 I never said anything about blaming it on the manufacturer Karen. Just warning people to not stop it abruptly like I "used" to do. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who did that. To this day I still use it.
I love this mop! Have had it a few months, I watched your video to find out how to take off mop head and wash it, I couldn't figure it out, so thank you!
I bought a 26qt Rubbermaid commercial mop wringer bucket for $40.00 at Costco business. The bucket has been wonderful for the past year now with no issues. Just buy a regular mop and you’re good.
Quick question? Why not use bleach? I have this and the convenience of the spinner is perfect for me to quickly disinfect the mop after moping. Vinegar and water is a great idea. I have beautiful wood floors as well. Wonderful review. Thanks for sharing!
That's interesting, thanks for sharing your review. I wonder about the pedal and plastic gears, though. If they break, then the spinning action won't work, and it did take quite a few presses before enough of the water was spinning free of the mop.
iboight a cheap imitation 5 years ago. i never have to touch the mop. it spins really easy , still works fine. the mop head goes inthe wash. when this one fails maybe ill try this
Ohhh I didn’t know the mop was supposed to rotate. This is why it’s still too wet and makes a loud popping noise when I’m pressing on the pedal sometimes. I’m going to try it with a looser grip today. I hope it dries the mop head better.
I went with libman because I herd the pedal messes up quick on these , is that true? I use to have the first hurricane mop that came out it worked perfect up until someone threw it away 😒
I got mines today from ebay and i used it. Only thing i dont like about mop is that the hairs is little. Should be longer and thicker for more dirt pick up and the whole stick spins
BuckGreywolfe i dust first then I use micro fiber bona cleaner made specifically for hard wood floor. It cleans , shine and protect. You are never supposed to use water on wood.
Hi Anita, by chance can you do a review of the Kubic Self-Washing & Drying Mop with Dual-Chamber Bucket System as seen on QVC? I thought it was interesting and wanted your thoughts on it. thank you so much.
It does - she got the hang of it later in the video. You have to give the pedal a moment to rise back up, then lift your foot up and push it down firmly and it only takes a couple of times and gets it very dry. If you don’t, the spin isn’t fast enough and is too gentle to remove much water. You can’t pump the pedal by just flexing your foot at the ankle.
When you first put the soggy, wet mop in the spinner, you can push down on the mop head with the pole a few times to squeeze out a lot of the excess water before using the spinner. Especially if you're working with wood floors, you don't want to use too much water. This has worked well for me for over 5 years.
@lor69 Then it’s not spinning fast enough. You have to lift your foot off the ground and step on the pedal. You can’t leave your heel on the floor and just press with the front of your foot. Think of when someone starts a motorcycle and they have to lift their foot and press the pedal down and lift their foot completely again a few times.
Thank s is a nice video, thank you for making it you’re not doing anything wrong. This would get on my MF nerves. Just give me a regular industrial mop, and a industrial wring out mop yellow bucket. Why it gotta be so many instructions? Please I’m not talking about you, no shade to you at all. The Apple TV remote had me cussing like a sailor yesterday in this mansion, and you need a fucking Masters Degree just to use the showers. I can’t wait to get back to the ghetto. They floors gone be dirty AF when they get back into the country. I’m too old for this shit .

Best mop system ever! I step on the spin pedal pretty hard so that it spins fast. It does an excellent job!
Great to hear!

3:01 of course that was not enough because you pushed the pedal so slowly
LoL, I said the same thing. You have to press it faster to do it correctly.
I was irritated by that too, you shouldn’t have to touch it lady 😂
I've used this for a few years now, love it

I wanted the mop pretty dry for hardwood floors. You wouldn’t have to press so many times for other types of floors 😀
Thank you for making this. I couldn’t figure out how to extend.

This is the only mop I have liked so far
Just started using the mop. How often should the mop head be replaced? Thank you.
Every 3 months
Is it possible you can test and review a Bissell Crosswave
I’ll add it to the list 😀

@@unknownone8479 yes its good.

Just have another bucket nearby
Lovely and looks like fun! If mopping can be fun? Cute mop cute girl! 🥂

you could use that to dry spin vegetables
What’s vacuum have you used for floor?
Here it is: amzn.to/1OW2oOP 😀
The mop absorb lots of water after rinsing many time.Is this mop good for our wooden floor?
If you pump the petal faster there would very little water in the mop.
It's good for wood floors
It helps to have a lovely pedicure as well. 😉👍🏻
The first time i used it all the fibers were stuck in balls around the mop head :/ any idea why or how to fix it??
Good information.
New subbie .. Great review
Thanks 😁
can you use pinesol on it?
Yes 😁
looks like you had to press the pedal 30 times and the mop was still very wet. Hmmmm.
Thanks for the info! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
👌😁
I just ordered mine
👍😀
I swear mine doesn't have a max line. How full am I supposed to fill it?
Excellent instructions.
Thanks.👍
Great video fun and informative, thank you
😀
Would the wring work on a regular mop?
It would probably work on a small mop but not a large heavy one :)
Love the detailed closeup review. Thanks !
👍😁
😀Love the toenails!✨🤗✨
😁
I know right, cute.
Vinegar on hardwood floors?
please review the breville one touch tea maker
does it leave streaks on the floor after mopping? I have been frustrated that the libman tornado mop leaves streaks :(
You’re using to much water or products if you have streaks
But aren’t you still using the dirty water to mop the floor
A mop for the Dyson vacuum people. Gimmicks are us.
I dont know why its taking her so many pumps. 3 or 4 pumps and i get it almost bone dry
Mine doesn't spin I press pedal real hard almost broke it no spins .
Has anyone ever told you that you are the exact female voice version of DCrainmaker who reviews cycling stuff?
Wait so the water you ring out the mop is the same water you're moping with 🧐
Yes, that’s the same with most mops 😁
What did you think a traditional mop does, circulate fresh water every time you dip the mop in the bucket?
I literally spin my mop as fast as it will go
Seems like the spin think doesn't work that well.

You need to press foot pedal a lot quicker than that
That pedal looks like it will crack and break in time.
I can’t extend it
Can I use the same bucket spinner with the blue o'cedar microfiber cloth mop, Do you know ?
