I'm very surprised that you placed frags on A,since its a rare weapon. But 100% agree that frags are really good, well it's not better than ember gun but it has great advantage when it comes to it's range and it has decent damage. I'm using frags 6s on tengu, it works pretty well, since I'm goin up against 5-6k sp players, not bad really and it's really fun to use. Anyway always great and informative video ruffles!
Yes especially when it come to Price point fragment gun is really good I'm really enjoying using fragment gun combos like frag 12 with 8 or kind of frag 14 and 6 etcemeans it's also great for beginners and worh upgrade
Spending an average 10-20 seconds for each weapon is hard. Assigning Tier levels for weapons is hard as each weapon has its pros and cons. Helix rack 12 vs Cryo Javs 12 is an interesting discussion if you include implants, and the way it curves. For ember guns there is the reload factor but you should include time to kill where it's actually lacking a bit compared to other close quarters. I did the math on it and 8+16 is better in the long run but time to kill it's literally equal making the 16s a waste unless you got the 8s Nade vs Cryo launcher is interesting as well as it's ideal range is a lot lower. Ideal range is also something you should include (based on projectile speed as pulse cannons become extremely weak and it does changes the views on Storm racks vs disruptor) EMs vs Rail Guns is an interesting discussion as well since the auto aim is gone as now the EMs is just consistent while RG has that surprise factor. The list goes on..
Yea there's infinite metrics i could use to rank these, which is why I listed the metrics i was using at the start. Factoring in ideal range would be like factoring in ideal mechs imo.. its just one of the endless extra metrics i could use. At the end of the day, I never intended this list be an end-all be-all for weapon discussion. Certainly everything has its place

Thats a great tier list Ruffles as a Vrpg16s enjoyer thats a right spot for that weapon. People usually look down on vrpg and rush me but instead they get 72+72k damage per shot. Honestly carbines are not bad tho I bought 2* for 1$ and I upgrade it whenever I do achievements, like you said it should be unlocked for credits not worth 7.5k acorns.
yea, i think ppl are getting hung up on the dps.. CB isnt really that bad, ik that, but its sooo expensive for what it is, that i just have to. The stats are better than Arc i think, but theres just no reason to buy Carbine (for acoins)
Longarms are pretty much the only sniper to buy until like tier 7. The others are too expensive, and the longarm 12 and 8 work very well for 20 energy mechs. I use it on my panther. I think longarms for that reason should be marked a little higher. What do you think?
Carbines should be in category A. Having them in F is an absolute joke. The range reload is good and they do decent damage, okay not equal to mini’s but they don’t take a decade to reload.
@garryt6356 once again, the issue is not the dps. Yea obviously it's Legendary so it'll do better than a lot of Epics, but 7500 acoins for a thing that's just barely better than Arc Torrent?? Hell no.
Can you do this list again taking into account the mods, I feel like snipers in general are less useful and also the Nade launchers are more versatile then they were because of the mods and layer shields.
hey ok listen stasis beams are actually over powered they have a thing wrong with the ammo so technically they deal 2x the amount they should so lets say i have stasis beam 8 they deal 22k with a pilot there ammo is supposed to be 50 but its 100 so technically they deal 44k and i have 2 so i deal around 88k damage check it out its true

If carbines were not a coins, what rank would you put them? Because me personally, I use them on bastion and that actually work great! It made me sad ngl to see carbs as one of your worst.
The dps of Carb is just slightly better than Arc, but you shouldnt use Arc by the time you reach Tier 7 anyway, so spending 7500 acoins to get basically the same dps.. its just the worst value in the game. Not the worst weapon, the worst value. I did the same with Redox in my mech video
Overall love❤ the rating or tier you assign especially F for carbine is 100 percent right and fragment gun and nades means you keep all of them in right place by judging it with price and upgrade not judge on only on demage which is good

Honestly speaking though i also used to think v.rpg 16 was garbage.In my hanger i have every mechs equipped with weapons that works by my playstyle except for panther I didnt know what to put on him.l had EM16s and V.RPG16s for a 32 energy build.Although anyone would choose EM's over V•RPGs but i was not a fan of them cause those EMs are flooded everywhere amd kind of hated them so guess what i chose Voltaics over them ,and i thought that was a stupid decision but boi i was wrong these things pack a brutal punch.Man these are like a cross of both railguns and ember guns.Out of every weapons currently in my hanger V.RPGS are my favorites.The only thing that is restraining from causing monstrosity are their legendary reload implants, if i get them then it will be a nightmare for anyone against me.
I like to call Votaics the "poor man's sniper." Good burst dmg, nice range (range implant recommended), and a solid reload time. Also, music is TeknoAXE - Cruising The Night Sky
Honestly, The only bad ones are Plasma canons and autocanons. Plasma just a close combet weapon and yeah, it is good for early game, but as soon as t3 mechs like Ares appear more often, it drops in value. And autocanons biggest upside is that it is free and easy to upgrade thank to it's grade. Oh and Thermal lance is a bit wierd, but kind of top tier for supports. You nay not carry the biggest guns, but increasing target's incoming damage by a fair amount is omega useful, lower B-tier high C-tier. The rest seem to be totally fine. I mean there is nothing that I would have placed lower than B-tier if we talk about weapon in general. Totally different story if we take every single variant with different energy cost

Certainly some weapons are a waste (like Carbine), even if they could theoretically be used, simply bc it performs worse than the (cheaper) alternatives.
Well, Sir ... I only recently noticed just how well certain Weapons do against others .. simply by playing both with an against them .. I've found that the Nade's are very good .. Excellent against those Who Think hiding behind a structure will avail them some Protection ... ahhh, no! In my short time playing this game, I've found them So_____o Good I personally have them in Tandem with Missle Luanchers .. You get the instant damage quick & the slightly slower But painful picking apart the last vestiges of HP with the Nades .. SO NICE to do when a particular player has decided to Pick you out of the rest of the opposing team to single you out for their enjoyment. Those folk either run Helix racks or other guided weaponry to tag you out .. Yea, right .. I dont have many of the very best Botz, but I rely on A good ol fashioned ( Fer this game @ least ), Robot . A Panther .. & utilize that botz Stasis to provide better than decent cover while slow stopping those pesky surges & Nomad /KillShotz .. Am in agreement with most well nearly all of your list .. there's a few weapons or three I don't have, but I will soon enough .. I'll Accept your opinion on them Do appreciate your vidz 👍
I pretty much love the gameplay we can get with the disc launcher If you got to the tier where disc launcher 8 is i highly recommend buying it and find the perfect fit, it only cost credits
I honestly thought that you would make an argument that for arc 10/12 to be an S tier, you need a fairly rare range implant, but your original argument makes sense as well
nah, the Rare range can suit you fine, Legendary only provides like.. 5m extra at max. tbh i recommend cutting your losses and just scrapping the Legendary if you get it
Good video, I'd put Javs in C simply because Helix are much better, so no point in upgrading Javs too much, instead get HR. Some weapons are very dependant on a minimum level (like 5* DL for radius) and implants, but assuming you have everything and it's maxed, the list is great. Arc Torrents have the blue range implant that is very useful, making it more accessable for most players. Legendary implants are still a pain to get (or way overpriced)
i dissagree on the helix vs javs, bc javs are sooo cheap compared to helix, i prefer them most of the time. As a free to play player i also think helixs are more of a p2w weapon, but they are still better than javs
@@Skylar_minecraft dont forget javs come at 3 stars, and you need to upgrade at least once to be compared to helix, so the cost isnt that much cheaper compared to the better stats. (range, lock time, dmg...) I agree that for f2p they are a good alternative.

Javs are very strong for what they are, especially when you first get them. I'll bet dual 12s could still kill most things. Also, you get DL at rank 5 from GH, so I dont consider that worth mentioning. I think VRPG is the only other weapon thats significantly worse at its starting rank
just wondering... does graviton beam have higher DPS than ember guns? I know it has more than arcs, miniguns and carbines but I've never seen a comparison between it an the ember gun. Like does it kill a bastion/ vortex with its ability on faster?
Yes, graviton ability works on bastion/vortex/nomad, etc. The only mech immune to graviton implosion is Eclipse when the ability is on.. and the wide shield mechs like Ares, Sentinel, Panther and Puma can block the beam with their shield. But juggy and bastion has personal shield, it won't block the abilities, so they are vulnerable to GBs.
yes probably. The reason Gravitons arent popular in pvps is bc the damage delay. its not like EMs where you can pre-fire, you have to keep the beam(s) on the enemy for *at least* 1.5 seconds before any real damage happens, and that can be very risky indeed. Lots of weapons will kill you before that buildup even happens. But as I mentioned, it kills bots like crazy (bc theyre dumb)
Id personally put disruptor higher since they are like the least skill demanding weapon, they have high dps even for maxed mechs, a decent reload and a projectile which basically doesn't care whether you are shooting at a structure or not they will damage you anyways.
@@WistfulKismet if you are like at mid game then I'd say that killshot disruptor is like an insanely destructive build. Dash plus a shot from disruptor and basically almost everything at that lvl will get insta killed.
I tried orion with arc12 and it's actually synergies pretty well so with right mech, many weapons can actually enter S rank. Edit: Shotgun 8 has pretty huge range and I have them maxed. A single clip is guaranteed to destroy mech if aimed from sides or behind so use it on zephyr or surge till you get those dual discs or embers. Longarm 12 is a good weapon to max too since weapons get dual copies before you reach 32 energy mechs so say you have dual railguns and dual longarm, you can actually run 2 effective sniper mechs till you get the 32 energy mech (which will take Yeats unless you spend acoins for blueprints)
Miniguns out DPS embers at close range, I was even especially generous in calculations by making Embers 8+16 staggered and giving them two mags for more value from overheat. In the same timeframe, minigun just does more damage. Imo miniguns are better than ember guns, hands down.
I think that Fusion Cannon deserves a better place myb at least B tier just because its the best assault weapon available for credits. I mean yeah, Pulse cannon has better reload speed and range but it also has wider hit cone which means less dmg on higher distance. Pulse cannon takes damm 9 sec to empty mag while Fusion takes 5 sec, which is almost 2 times faster. You can also get dmg and reload rare and epic implants for Fusion Cannon from the shop while all range implants are available from the shop. Even with epic reload implant you can get reload time to 5.7 sec which is like half second more than Pulse Cannon and with legy you can get to 5.2 sec reload. Now Pulse Cannon has only rare dmg implant available in shop and you can get rare mag and both epic and legy for range. But all implants for Pulse Cannon are kinda useless considering its dps...
yes, as I mentioned at the start of the video. Raw dps can be misleading imo, its better to rank them accounting for the price/Grade Carbine, for example, is about the same as Fusion. better dps overall but worse burst dps. However Carbine is also triple the cost (you could account for the extra rank it gets, its still at least double the acoin cost). There are also much better Legendary options than Carbine (Minigun, even Chain Gun probably), so that just makes it unnecessarily expensive for little meaningful return, so I placed Carbine much lower.
@@RuFFlesGaming Im sad cause assault is that bad overall, I like those wepons. No point in buying Carbine for like 7-8k a coins when I have other much better options at tier 5 now and later on. They didnt want to make splash dmg for Fusion and/or buff Carbine cause of Viper, obviously... Chain Gun and Helix racks are now available for credits so I can get them easy. Bought Fusion Cannon 10 yesterday and its better than Pulse Cannons but thats like comparing Shotgun 4 and 8 (little difference), I would anyways have to buy em as I need stars to unlock new tier.
And on the repeater... Confirmed as working as intended but it's also confirmed it's time to kill is just sad so we either want a magazine buff (10 rounds and the weaker reload) or a significant damage buff in order to be able to kill with a single magazine It's under discussion

I’m relatively new to the game (2-3k hangar), so I obviously don’t know as much as y’all, but I’ve been absolutely destroyed by players using the Stasis Beams… you have it ranked fairly low, is there another beam that slows that is more worth purchasing? Seems to me that’s a pretty fantastic choice especially when coordinating with friends in game…. But I could be wrong since I’m not near end game yet
No, Stasis Beam is the only Beam that slows. There's Quantum Gun too, but that's a sniper (here's a dps comparison between the two: ruclips.net/video/BUQONbAGkjQ/видео.htmlsi=SKmI-bdGppdR1yX4 ). Stasis Beam is very very bad ling-term, and not worth investing in heavily, tho I'd still recommend picking up the 16 (and the 8 you get for free I think) since it only costs credits and will help you progress

let me be clear: If i re-rank them, Carbine remains on the bottom. A friend of mine (Sentry) really likes Carbine, has been using it for years, but also agrees that they're not effective, so it aint a skill issue on his part.

Nade launcher is my favorite weapon. You must not be pro-level at Mech Arena if you don't know how to use it well. just saying. I get usually over 20 kills per round with it on Surge, using it as my starting weapon(using Nomad as 2nd with Ember gun. Nade Launcher is a point blank weapon and a long distance weapon in one and does extremely high damage over all; enough to kill several Epic mechs, A whole team with Splash damage if they clumped toether, or 1 maxxed mech, in one dual magazine. reload time is awesome also. I think like 6 seconds. and a great part is its slow bullet movement speed which enables you to use it like a Mortar but the added feature is you can shoot your grenades in a path which will block enemy forward movement or kill the dumb ones which don't realize they need to run. the way you hit people beyond your range and lead them with grenades is by using your max distance to control placement which means you need to start shooting at them while they are about 10-15 meters farther than your max distance. yadda yadda yadda. And when your grenades finally make contact you're already safe behind a barrier. It's Awesome with Surge at point blank because you can often freeze a team walking together and take 3 of them out with the same grenades before they are able to fire off one bullet. Makes accomplishing those missions to "Kill 4 mechs before taking any damage" a breeze. Also you're totally wrong about Cryo Launcher. Cryo Launcher 8 maxxed out, does higher damage than Nade Launcher 8 maxxed. Because of that fact it makes the pairing of both Nade Launcher 16 and Cryo Launcher 8 to be the perfect combination for Damage output and field control. Cryo launcher freezes instantly in 1 hit, unlike other stasis weapons and it also has much further max distance which allows you to prep them to snipe with Nade 16. Cryo Launcher needs to be put in S Class for these reasons.
Vertical comes close, tbf. Ultimately tho, I agree. Going off its best possible performance, i dont think id change my placement of it, otherwise I'd have to also consider the Radius implant.. 🫠
Repeater's loading mechanism isn't bugged; its working as intended. Which means its just a terrible, teeible weapon and needs an urgent buff like Miniguns and Nades needed. That said, I'd personally have put Helix racks at the very bottom of the list simply because of how gross and boring they are~
But ember and frag gun require skill too use? Especially embers on surge/eclipse? Or everyone using that build and an aegis lol i dont think many things require skill unless its the snipers and nade launchers, those are a bit difficult too use
the dps is comparable to Arc, with mildly longer max range but shorter (~50m) effective/ideal range, correct. The price, as stated in the beginning, is the reason it is ranked so low. 3x the cost for effectively the same weapon is absolutely not worthy of the same rating

I'm shocked to see so many people defending the carbine, I've never used the weapon but it's got to be better then its ranked in this video cus it's the one weapon everyone is defending, i personally think the EM rifle is the top weapon but it definitely takes skill getting used to but it's a nasty nasty mfer, usually 1 shot hitter quitter, or 2 tops. No matter what as long as your enjoying the game that's all that matters.
i can assure you its not. Carbine has the same dps as Fusion Cannon (and, at the time i uploaded this, Arc Torrent), so its just an unnecessarily expensive item that wont do you a lot of favors. not every Legendary is worth getting.

I think your ranking of Quantum Gun is a bit dismissive. Worse than thermal? It does more DPS than Gauss rifle, can apply stasis/overheat in one shot, and has the greatest range of any weapon in the game (!!!) (Longer than any sniper or mortar after implants) I don't think it's a very good weapon, but definitely worth more than Thermal or Gauss
You can either use a knock off assualt weapon in the quantum guns or you can you an actual sniper weapon on a sniper pilot like rails or ems an just outright insta kill people/bots
your standing on this is totally reasonable, except that I was also factoring in the item cost. I would consider a couple credits for a garbage but fun weapon to be better than 3k acoins for the same thing but with mild dps and longer range. undoubtedly Quantum will perform better, but its not worth any amount of premium resource (to me)
Gauss rifle is good, in early game... but its SOOO EXPENSIVE. like for 650 acoins is literally half the cost of a NICE mech such as Stalker or Guardian. thats BAD considering you may need to buy another, OR A THIRD??? so NO. I say NO TO GAUSS RIFLE>

Ok I have recently used some new account just to test stuff And the thing is that u don't need to use autocannons in more than 5 battles ( longest) But with Puma the first weapon u put on him is Plasma canon 6 and it performs better than rpg 6 due to it's grade and free Red pilot Believe it or not The Grade update and gear hub has turned Plasma Canon a very good weapon in it's tier It works so well and u can keep using it for some time in next tier too
I'd have to play that myself to make a decision. Plasma has like zero effective range, so you may as well get Shotgun at that point. Maybe sometime I'll care enough to try it lol

For ember guns there is the reload factor but you should include time to kill where it's actually lacking a bit compared to other close quarters.
I did the math on it and 8+16 is better in the long run but time to kill it's literally equal making the 16s a waste unless you got the 8s
Nade vs Cryo launcher is interesting as well as it's ideal range is a lot lower.
Ideal range is also something you should include (based on projectile speed as pulse cannons become extremely weak and it does changes the views on Storm racks vs disruptor)
EMs vs Rail Guns is an interesting discussion as well since the auto aim is gone as now the EMs is just consistent while RG has that surprise factor.

Yea there's infinite metrics i could use to rank these, which is why I listed the metrics i was using at the start.
Factoring in ideal range would be like factoring in ideal mechs imo.. its just one of the endless extra metrics i could use. At the end of the day, I never intended this list be an end-all be-all for weapon discussion. Certainly everything has its place

Thats a great tier list Ruffles as a Vrpg16s enjoyer thats a right spot for that weapon. People usually look down on vrpg and rush me but instead they get 72+72k damage per shot. Honestly carbines are not bad tho I bought 2* for 1$ and I upgrade it whenever I do achievements, like you said it should be unlocked for credits not worth 7.5k acorns.

Longarms are pretty much the only sniper to buy until like tier 7. The others are too expensive, and the longarm 12 and 8 work very well for 20 energy mechs. I use it on my panther. I think longarms for that reason should be marked a little higher.

Carbines should be in category A. Having them in F is an absolute joke. The range reload is good and they do decent damage, okay not equal to mini’s but they don’t take a decade to reload.

hey ok listen stasis beams are actually over powered they have a thing wrong with the ammo so technically they deal 2x the amount they should so lets say i have stasis beam 8 they deal 22k with a pilot there ammo is supposed to be 50 but its 100 so technically they deal 44k and i have 2 so i deal around 88k damage check it out its true
The ammo on all Recharge-based weapons (except Repeater) is listed as 100 to denote %, not physical ammo amount. Railgun is one of such.

If carbines were not a coins, what rank would you put them? Because me personally, I use them on bastion and that actually work great! It made me sad ngl to see carbs as one of your worst.
The dps of Carb is just slightly better than Arc, but you shouldnt use Arc by the time you reach Tier 7 anyway, so spending 7500 acoins to get basically the same dps.. its just the worst value in the game. Not the worst weapon, the worst value. I did the same with Redox in my mech video

Honestly speaking though i also used to think v.rpg 16 was garbage.In my hanger i have every mechs equipped with weapons that works by my playstyle except for panther I didnt know what to put on him.l had EM16s and V.RPG16s for a 32 energy build.Although anyone would choose EM's over V•RPGs but i was not a fan of them cause those EMs are flooded everywhere amd kind of hated them so guess what i chose Voltaics over them ,and i thought that was a stupid decision but boi i was wrong these things pack a brutal punch.Man these are like a cross of both railguns and ember guns.Out of every weapons currently in my hanger V.RPGS are my favorites.The only thing that is restraining from causing monstrosity are their legendary reload implants, if i get them then it will be a nightmare for anyone against me.
I like to call Votaics the "poor man's sniper." Good burst dmg, nice range (range implant recommended), and a solid reload time.

Honestly, The only bad ones are Plasma canons and autocanons. Plasma just a close combet weapon and yeah, it is good for early game, but as soon as t3 mechs like Ares appear more often, it drops in value. And autocanons biggest upside is that it is free and easy to upgrade thank to it's grade. Oh and Thermal lance is a bit wierd, but kind of top tier for supports. You nay not carry the biggest guns, but increasing target's incoming damage by a fair amount is omega useful, lower B-tier high C-tier. The rest seem to be totally fine. I mean there is nothing that I would have placed lower than B-tier if we talk about weapon in general. Totally different story if we take every single variant with different energy cost

Good video, I'd put Javs in C simply because Helix are much better, so no point in upgrading Javs too much, instead get HR.
Some weapons are very dependant on a minimum level (like 5* DL for radius) and implants, but assuming you have everything and it's maxed, the list is great. Arc Torrents have the blue range implant that is very useful, making it more accessable for most players. Legendary implants are still a pain to get (or way overpriced)
i dissagree on the helix vs javs, bc javs are sooo cheap compared to helix, i prefer them most of the time. As a free to play player i also think helixs are more of a p2w weapon, but they are still better than javs

Javs are very strong for what they are, especially when you first get them. I'll bet dual 12s could still kill most things.
Also, you get DL at rank 5 from GH, so I dont consider that worth mentioning. I think VRPG is the only other weapon thats significantly worse at its starting rank

just wondering... does graviton beam have higher DPS than ember guns? I know it has more than arcs, miniguns and carbines but I've never seen a comparison between it an the ember gun. Like does it kill a bastion/ vortex with its ability on faster?
Yes, graviton ability works on bastion/vortex/nomad, etc. The only mech immune to graviton implosion is Eclipse when the ability is on.. and the wide shield mechs like Ares, Sentinel, Panther and Puma can block the beam with their shield. But juggy and bastion has personal shield, it won't block the abilities, so they are vulnerable to GBs.
yes probably. The reason Gravitons arent popular in pvps is bc the damage delay. its not like EMs where you can pre-fire, you have to keep the beam(s) on the enemy for *at least* 1.5 seconds before any real damage happens, and that can be very risky indeed. Lots of weapons will kill you before that buildup even happens.
But as I mentioned, it kills bots like crazy (bc theyre dumb)

Id personally put disruptor higher since they are like the least skill demanding weapon, they have high dps even for maxed mechs, a decent reload and a projectile which basically doesn't care whether you are shooting at a structure or not they will damage you anyways.

I tried orion with arc12 and it's actually synergies pretty well so with right mech, many weapons can actually enter S rank.
Edit: Shotgun 8 has pretty huge range and I have them maxed. A single clip is guaranteed to destroy mech if aimed from sides or behind so use it on zephyr or surge till you get those dual discs or embers. Longarm 12 is a good weapon to max too since weapons get dual copies before you reach 32 energy mechs so say you have dual railguns and dual longarm, you can actually run 2 effective sniper mechs till you get the 32 energy mech (which will take Yeats unless you spend acoins for blueprints)
Oh stalker will actually output less damage than orion when paired with arcs, tried that too

Miniguns out DPS embers at close range, I was even especially generous in calculations by making Embers 8+16 staggered and giving them two mags for more value from overheat. In the same timeframe, minigun just does more damage. Imo miniguns are better than ember guns, hands down.
the main reason to use Ember is the reload. Never needing to worry about ammo, and being able to rush Guardians with it

I think that Fusion Cannon deserves a better place myb at least B tier just because its the best assault weapon available for credits.
I mean yeah, Pulse cannon has better reload speed and range but it also has wider hit cone which means less dmg on higher distance. Pulse cannon takes damm 9 sec to empty mag while Fusion takes 5 sec, which is almost 2 times faster. You can also get dmg and reload rare and epic implants for Fusion Cannon from the shop while all range implants are available from the shop. Even with epic reload implant you can get reload time to 5.7 sec which is like half second more than Pulse Cannon and with legy you can get to 5.2 sec reload.
Now Pulse Cannon has only rare dmg implant available in shop and you can get rare mag and both epic and legy for range. But all implants for Pulse Cannon are kinda useless considering its dps...
At the time of recording, I'm pretty sure all the Fusions were money-only, and I wasnt sure if any would be made for credits

yes, as I mentioned at the start of the video. Raw dps can be misleading imo, its better to rank them accounting for the price/Grade
Carbine, for example, is about the same as Fusion. better dps overall but worse burst dps. However Carbine is also triple the cost (you could account for the extra rank it gets, its still at least double the acoin cost). There are also much better Legendary options than Carbine (Minigun, even Chain Gun probably), so that just makes it unnecessarily expensive for little meaningful return, so I placed Carbine much lower.
@@RuFFlesGaming Im sad cause assault is that bad overall, I like those wepons. No point in buying Carbine for like 7-8k a coins when I have other much better options at tier 5 now and later on. They didnt want to make splash dmg for Fusion and/or buff Carbine cause of Viper, obviously... Chain Gun and Helix racks are now available for credits so I can get them easy. Bought Fusion Cannon 10 yesterday and its better than Pulse Cannons but thats like comparing Shotgun 4 and 8 (little difference), I would anyways have to buy em as I need stars to unlock new tier.

Confirmed as working as intended but it's also confirmed it's time to kill is just sad so we either want a magazine buff (10 rounds and the weaker reload) or a significant damage buff in order to be able to kill with a single magazine

I’m relatively new to the game (2-3k hangar), so I obviously don’t know as much as y’all, but I’ve been absolutely destroyed by players using the Stasis Beams… you have it ranked fairly low, is there another beam that slows that is more worth purchasing? Seems to me that’s a pretty fantastic choice especially when coordinating with friends in game…. But I could be wrong since I’m not near end game yet
No, Stasis Beam is the only Beam that slows. There's Quantum Gun too, but that's a sniper (here's a dps comparison between the two: ruclips.net/video/BUQONbAGkjQ/видео.htmlsi=SKmI-bdGppdR1yX4 ).
Stasis Beam is very very bad ling-term, and not worth investing in heavily, tho I'd still recommend picking up the 16 (and the 8 you get for free I think) since it only costs credits and will help you progress

Nade launcher is my favorite weapon. You must not be pro-level at Mech Arena if you don't know how to use it well. just saying. I get usually over 20 kills per round with it on Surge, using it as my starting weapon(using Nomad as 2nd with Ember gun. Nade Launcher is a point blank weapon and a long distance weapon in one and does extremely high damage over all; enough to kill several Epic mechs, A whole team with Splash damage if they clumped toether, or 1 maxxed mech, in one dual magazine. reload time is awesome also. I think like 6 seconds. and a great part is its slow bullet movement speed which enables you to use it like a Mortar but the added feature is you can shoot your grenades in a path which will block enemy forward movement or kill the dumb ones which don't realize they need to run. the way you hit people beyond your range and lead them with grenades is by using your max distance to control placement which means you need to start shooting at them while they are about 10-15 meters farther than your max distance. yadda yadda yadda.
And when your grenades finally make contact you're already safe behind a barrier.
It's Awesome with Surge at point blank because you can often freeze a team walking together and take 3 of them out with the same grenades before they are able to fire off one bullet. Makes accomplishing those missions to "Kill 4 mechs before taking any damage" a breeze.
Also you're totally wrong about Cryo Launcher. Cryo Launcher 8 maxxed out, does higher damage than Nade Launcher 8 maxxed.
Because of that fact it makes the pairing of both Nade Launcher 16 and Cryo Launcher 8 to be the perfect combination for Damage output and field control. Cryo launcher freezes instantly in 1 hit, unlike other stasis weapons and it also has much further max distance which allows you to prep them to snipe with Nade 16. Cryo Launcher needs to be put in S Class for these reasons.

Of course storm racks are insane. They are shield piercing missile rack. And we know how shields can ruin your day. However, saying that... Have no idea how well it fairs against Shield Dome or or shield wall
Panther is not affected, Aegis Dome can almost go down in 1 salvo, which makes it neat for breaking Aegis Trains for your team

I'm shocked to see so many people defending the carbine, I've never used the weapon but it's got to be better then its ranked in this video cus it's the one weapon everyone is defending, i personally think the EM rifle is the top weapon but it definitely takes skill getting used to but it's a nasty nasty mfer, usually 1 shot hitter quitter, or 2 tops. No matter what as long as your enjoying the game that's all that matters.
i can assure you its not. Carbine has the same dps as Fusion Cannon (and, at the time i uploaded this, Arc Torrent), so its just an unnecessarily expensive item that wont do you a lot of favors. not every Legendary is worth getting.

I think your ranking of Quantum Gun is a bit dismissive. Worse than thermal? It does more DPS than Gauss rifle, can apply stasis/overheat in one shot, and has the greatest range of any weapon in the game (!!!) (Longer than any sniper or mortar after implants)
I don't think it's a very good weapon, but definitely worth more than Thermal or Gauss
You can either use a knock off assualt weapon in the quantum guns or you can you an actual sniper weapon on a sniper pilot like rails or ems an just outright insta kill people/bots

your standing on this is totally reasonable, except that I was also factoring in the item cost. I would consider a couple credits for a garbage but fun weapon to be better than 3k acoins for the same thing but with mild dps and longer range. undoubtedly Quantum will perform better, but its not worth any amount of premium resource (to me)

You can use a thermal lance mid-game to boost your other weapon(hopefully much stronger) damage by 50%. Thermal is about as good as a C tier.

Cryo Jevlins are epic and because of their higher grade their stats in genral are similar to helix
Damage is almost same and they are definitely way better than Jevlins in every area
I guess If helix is S then Cryo Jev 12 should also be close to that

And the thing is that u don't need to use autocannons in more than 5 battles ( longest)
But with Puma the first weapon u put on him is Plasma canon 6 and it performs better than rpg 6 due to it's grade and free Red pilot
Believe it or not The Grade update and gear hub has turned Plasma Canon a very good weapon in it's tier
It works so well and u can keep using it for some time in next tier too
I'll definitely say if RPG 6 is in ur B tier then Plasma canon should be just above RPGs for sure
I'd have to play that myself to make a decision. Plasma has like zero effective range, so you may as well get Shotgun at that point.
