  • G’day gold diggas,
With the queens birthday coming up I thought I’d go and test haunted stream track before they lock the gates.
It was an eventful day the track was a little worse than last time I drove it and yeah I had to winch😆 but when you bounce off a rock step and one tyre lands down the cliff winching was the safest option🤙.
Haunted stream is a beautiful track to drive 54 creek crossings and some great scenery, we left at 8am and got back just on dark and that was after testing 16 spots so to do all 54 would take a couple of days 🤦‍♂️.
So I hope you enjoy the video guys I had a absolute ball being up there again.
    Cheers
    Steve ⚒👍🏻

Good on ya Digga. I was in that area (Stirling) with a mate in 1995 in a clapped out Subaru, camping. We didn't find very much gold either. It's the contact with nature that makes it worthwhile even so.

Good idea putting the flexi hose on the end of the yabby pump. I made a slip on reducer to 20mm but that hose looks good 👌.
I got blue radiator hose from a truck workshop. Slips on just tight enough so no clamp required 👍.
Thanks for posting ya videos 🇦🇺

Cheers mate thanks for watching I’ve got a heap of different sized hose for the yabby pump they all serve a purpose it’s gotta be the best way of cleaning bedrock I reckon🤙 I’ll have to have a look for this truck hose you speak of I’m always adding to my collection of tools ⚒👍🏻

I'd love to catch people that dump their crap in the bush and humiliate them publicly in front of the whole country. Good on you for cleaning up and posting this.

I’d love to make a video of catching the littering buggers then make em strip off picking up rubbish while cracking em with a stock whip 😆😆 maybe that’s going to far🤷‍♂️
      Cheers

Awesome video mate, we enjoyed your adventure. Beautiful looking country too. True prospecting right there and digging your self sufficiency on those crazy tracks. Can't stand when you see what lazy people leave behind, we have been noticing some idiot leaving energy cans around a few of our spots, drives you mad sometimes, but you're the better person for cleaning up their crap. Cheers for taking us along, happy hunting Alicia & Steve

Nice work mate, not your best haul on the gold but with views and muddy tracks like that I'm sure you still had a ripper day. Need to organise a day for us all to get out somewhere one day soon!

I wonder if "Wild Turkey" was the one who left part of his towbar behind. Doubt he would learn the lesson though.

That was the remains of a pretty serious stamp mill that someone bothered to drag up there, so there must have been some gold bearing veins in the area.

Been here lately mate I heard it’s been made quiet tame after some grading… what time of year was this? Many joints to setup a banker next to a small dugout to setup a swag? Still haven’t been here yet still slowly working around the Buckland love the joint

No gold expert but wouldn’t using a pump limit the size of what u pick up?

    • @Gippslandgolddigga
      @Gippslandgolddigga  4 месяца назад +1

Same as using a classifier so if using a pump and only sucking up 50mm rocks dam that’s a good nugget

haven't been there for a while myself. good old turn table huts. such a shame when wankers can't take there shit home. u done about the same as me. just fly poo. it's gotta be there somewhere I just don't know anyone who has done good up there. the feeder creek at Stirling has been my best pans
