If you would like to support the channel, I've recently made a Patreon: www.patreon.com/Schizoanalytic0nion. It's a bit empty currently, but I'm hoping to fill it with some other my other work soon.
One of my fav channels, you cover exactly the topics and authors I enjoy and for many content is scarce. I don t know if you did a series on Bataille but if not it would be great. Just one tip: try to use some background footage , infographs and stock videos that would be appropiate, or have it in a power point style instead of video game footage in the background. That way it will reach more people. And if you want to widen your reach maybe link the topic and author to a current ideea in the zeitgeist (e.g.: " understanding *tvshow/manga/game/etc... tough y author" , " how x *common experience/problem/concept that is relevant today can be understood trough y author". I wish your channel to grow, you really deserve more popularity than a lot of pop philosophy channels that are popular ( I know i suggested some sort of pop philosophy videos, but that can be done witouth loosing the ideeas that are important, and are just to get a larger audience that will later watch the more theoretical videos).
Thanks for your comment! I'm actually writing a paper on Guattari, Bataille, and disability currently; I might make some videos on Bataille when I'm further along in my research (possibly one of his essays could work soon). The advice concerning background footage is good, and I've thought about it, but I think that my aesthetic (including the sprites) is already maybe too tied to the game. When it comes to linking concepts/authors to shows and stuff like that, that is something I definitely want to try do. Academically, a lot of my work is on how Guattari can be used to understand things like crip time and chronic pain, but -- for the channel -- I think I will eventually also try do some stuff with semiotics and media (looking at Twin Peaks through the lens of Deleuze's work on cinema could be good).
