@@dylankempthorneI think in one of his first interviews with destiny he stated that he despised the confrontational/angry conversations being had online about topics and wanted to lower the temperature. His main thing was spreading empathy and being empathetic of other people.

I usually side with MrGirl at least a little bit but he just comes off as extremely uninterested in actually trying to understand what Lav is saying here. The dude is practically arguing with himself half the time.
Because that would be a waste of time.
I watched it all, and have no idea what just happened. I was working and playing games and all that, so I didn't have my attention fully on it, but there were parted where I just tried to focus and I just...What is happening.

The hilarious thing is that MrGirl is dead right on his read of Lav. And Steve missed it, not fully tracking the initial conversation. He does also correctly read MrGirl later in his feed back. And because he is right about MrGirl's excesses he incorrectly determined that MrGirl was wrong about Lav.

He's incredibly bad faith. He never admits when he's wrong, and he never extends olive branches. He has absolutely infuriating double standards, where he gets to talk as long as he wants about absolutely nothing without interruption, but the moment someone talks, he jumps in like a prick.

If you saw a young basketball player, playing their first game, and struggling a little bit with the pressure, can you not feel bad for them ?
And then throw into the mix the opposing team arguably not playing fairly, and that makes the young basketball player appear like a bad player to some fans, can you not feel bad for them ?

It’s not necessarily about owing anyone sex, it’s more about using sex as a weapon. If you say something like “if you do this I’m not going to have sex with you”, or use it as a reward for good behavior that’s pretty toxic.
Sex should be something you do because you want to not something you use to get what you want out of someone.
