They have a similarity to them but have different tones, which I love, which in songs like this and September give a really good atmosphere: That the two characters are one and the same (Sept) and in this case are related. However in this song I feel like the melody fell flat. I LOVE the lyrics and the dirty sound, but the execution felt off.
Tombstone, you and mic have such great singing voices im glad you did vocals in this instead of getting somepony else to, props to you and I heard you play drums and guitar im very happy about this, you should definitely do a track and have it with just you doing guitar, vocals and drums in it, im sure it would be amazing.
Tomb might not like his vocals in this song, and yes it's not that great. But it has this rustic charm to it, it has tombs signature. And even if another person sings it, I won't be able to forget this classic gem.
The song itself isn't bad, but the way the lyrics are sung is so emotionless, cold, perhaps even DEAD, that it makes the song very hard to enjoy. I like a lot of the brony music you have, TLT, but this is easily one of the weakest works under your belt. This didn't have enough of the heart the sisters did in their disputes, which felt like real things siblings would argue with each other over.
Going through his playlist, this is a recurring problem that his brony music has had. The lyrics that TLT sings are almost flat enough to the point of being READ instead of sung. Like, I may be tone-deaf, but I can tell when a singer doesn't want to do the song. At least 55% of the playlist is like this. Honestly, don't do a song if you aren't gonna put too much effort into getting the lyrics right. ("Magic" also had this. Lauren had a fantastic performance, but TLT sounded DEAD and it nuked the entire thing.)
