- I got hooked up with a pair of New Balance 440s that are suppose to be the upgraded version of the original 440s made for skateboarding. The N is more pronounced and dynamic, the toe is stretched further back with durable materials to increase the life time of the shoe, the side panel has a more attractive style while still bringing you great breathability, and the heel collar is lowered and padded better. Overall the shoe looks amazing and skates even better. I'm not sure when this shoe drops but like Richie Le says, these are 12 pair minimum, MUST COP! Damn those def look good, even better than the ogs. For me I wasn’t a big fan of the toe shape for flicking but loved the board feel. Thanks for the vid!

Yessir! To me mids look good with anything where as lows and hightops come down to the shoe shape. Respect!

Yessir! I haven’t done it in a while like a few other tricks so I’ll have to make a video about trying to revive my bag of tricks. Andrew Reynolds 480s drop soon and then I believe his signature shoe is spring next year. 👀

rolled my ankle pretty bad in the og 440, the problem with it was that when it gets all sweaty it turns into a wet sock and doesn't hold your foot and needs a lot of lace retightening which doesn't help much. I wonder if this new one doesn't have that problem.
I share the same experience. I'm not a ankle roller, it happens very rarly. With 440s I had my worst ever ankle roll ever, which set me back 4 months! Too much mesh on the side, giving less structure, imo, causing such to happen
I so far haven’t had that happen to me in the version 2s and I really feel like they stepped it up with these. Now with the 480s I recently reviews, I absolute rolled my ankle real bad on flat and then again after I healed up exiting a 5-0 and felt deterred by them.
I think they’re gonna be better when they officially drop.
Definitely gonna try them because I like the og version except that's it's bad for my crappy ankles :/@@JaySkateDay
Could be because of the elevated and not wide enough heel area. I've had the same issue with adidas forum lows. @@JaySkateDay

Better quality, better tech, they actually listen to skaters on and off the team, and they’re constantly striving to improve. They aren’t just relying on 2-3 main shoes.

There’s no way you think the holes on the heel panel are for breathability
What do you think it’s for?
It’s decorative. Unless it’s a new feature where the holes reach the inside of the shoe and aren’t just on that panel, they aren’t cooling down anything
@@bhm6677 well it’s not made to keep you feet cool with the holes on the heel but it’s suppose to help prevent it from getting sweated out as fast which makes the heel loose structure. It’s part of the updated features of this version two.

They always have solid colors and comfortable shoes . Also fire parks 🔥 I want try if visit out there. Lastly, all tricks look so clean to 🙌🧼
NewBalance is really going on and coming for these other companies and I love it! I recommend Arizona after September because the weather will be perfect
