I like the VFX as an art itself, what you can do in post with some softwares, but for a wedding material, I wouldn't do that, and I wouldn't like that many of VFX in my wedding videos. The FX here looked too artificial, just a bunch of elements, matte painting and stuff thrown at the raw footage and color corrected. The FX don't have any connection or help tell or complement a story. The idea I had by watching this was just what the editor is able to do, that he/she can actually make VFX, but can't tell or transmit a story with them (the effects). Just my POV.

Also, we believe in 80-20 rule, and wants to make 80% of audience happy, in this case its 96% as of now. So I think we are on track. And with all due respect and thanks, @Ashish Dhar We should respect everyones viewpoint.
Ha ha ha.. very relatable.. Actually it happened for this shoot as well. The Tragedy is its very difficult to explain music change is not just few clicks. We have now gone for Zero to minimal revision policy and focus on pre-planning as much as possible.
Who needs extra time and money during wedding planning? Let's pose in matching outfits at random locations just to prove we're in love. Totally makes sense.
creating fog in any 3d software like Blender, Cinema 4d and autodesk maya, ,Nuke or fusion for composition, Mocha or PF track for Tracking, colour grading may be done in Da vinchi resolve. editing in adobe premiere.
Partially @Carryon Films is true, but we have not too much looking at the budget and time. We have used, After Effect & DaVinci Resolve for sequences and final editing happened in FCP.
Maybe True for now, but, when we first produced the Special Mashup for this shoot, it was very very very fresh. (for actual video) For BTS we used the royalty free one which maybe repetitive. Trur
Adding fog everytime to the already good n natural looking visuals??!!! And why?!?!?! Pls don't add effects just for the sake of it. Otherwise shoot in a green floor and add backgrounds. Y to waste such a great location ...... Feeling sorry for the couples
What would be the reaction if in one sequence couple is in Foggy weather and suddenly they move to Deserted atmosphere ? and at the end of day our job is to fulfils client's need in whatever resources we have.

It's all bt the client n their call. 👍 But as a creative team u always hav the choice to provide alternatives, and fog looks too plastic, doing a better colouring shud hav made the visuals look more great than the effects, thts wat I felt n still feel.
