Great video. On this topic, is there a way to determine the health of your current ignition coils? Is there some sort of diagnostic that could be done on them? I have a 2007 Toyota Camry that has 117K, fairly low mileage for that model year. At around 70 K my ignition coils Went on me and caused problems; misfiring and flashing check engine light. After replacing them, all is well. I’m just trying to cut that off at the pass from happening again if possible. Thanks for any advice.
i have an audi 2018 q3. engine light on for coil #1. bought the right coils and spark plugs, replaced them all. light goes off then on again. (engine was skipped somewhat too). engine light goes off, then on again. changed coil #2 with #1. engine light goes off then on again after awhile. changed coil #1 with new coil and spark plug. light goes off then on again...some skipping some times and not skipping with the engine light on. what do you think the problem is?? the machine checking the car is always saying coil #1.
If it doesn't murder my wallet, I usually go with what the OEM used, I had an alternator die on my 11 CRV this week; replaced it with a Denso.

I've heard that when these coil on plugs go bad, it is usually just the rubber boot with spring. Is it advisable just to change that part out?
great info here 👍👍

what do you mean when you say skipping?
The aftermarket coils from Accel and MSD are junk. The AC Delco coils are made by Denso rebranded as AC Delco
How do you know that?
@@bundysgarage Denso makes some of AC Delco's parts rebranded as AC Delco
