Coming out of high school, my hips were stiff and I had trouble getting in position to make plays and dropping into coverage. So I looked up videos like this. This really helped me. Thanks
@GoSec3432 that drill is helping muscle memory for your T-plant. also the reaction to the command of my voice helps as well. @1974bigtank man i appreciate the love bro. i thank everyone for your comments. i just want to add to everyones arsenal of drills and guys who want the extra work. not worried about people not liking it. you guys arethe ones I'm doing it for. I'm very humbled and thankful. God bless
Great video for zone type linebacker training.. Nothing to do with being in the trenches or defeating blocks. None the less, great linebacker agility video.
Great video! but there is one thing I noticed is the back step before running, I don't know if all Coaches teach this but my Coach would always get on my back about that.
Great video the only thing I would change is the workout at the 2:50 mark is teaching a false step. As a linebacker majority of the time you want to have your first initial step forward, not backward.
Definitely a very good video for me to to stay on top of my game coach! Thanks for posting this one... Are there anymore vids with different drills and workouts?
I'm very inexpensive. Each session is only $50. But I work deals for guys who want to go 3 days a week. It's about an hour to an hour and a half of work. Weight room can be included for extra if you're in the Sacramento area. If not I can provide workouts
+Jay Money great size. Everything comes with hard work and developing good work ethics. Perfecting your craft is key. And working on your flaws is even better. Have someone film you're workouts. Breakdown what your are doing right and wrong and work on fixing or bettering it
Great footwork video. I'm gonna implement this into my son's workouts, he plays LB 12yr old going into 5th year. you can check him out on my channel if you like . Thanks again for the info much appreciated.
So @ 2:55 you’re TEACHING to false step??? I’m perplexed as to how this drill is in any way effective as a linebacker. I’ve always been taught no false steps.
I think this is an apex or stem drill for transition coming out of a backpedal, to break on the ball. Many struggle with that last "step in a bucket pause" this drill seems to enhance and coach up the feet to never stop moving, and exploding out of a backpedal which is paramount. A receivers feet don't stop neither should yours.

Thank u so much. Pass on the knowledge and techniques to make a better football generation.
Thank u. That is just one of my ways of teaching the T-plant for defensive players. It's great for DBs and it tightens it up for LBs.
Really inspiring vid... Thanks!

What does the drill at 2:37 meant to improve? anyone know?
Footwork
First step!, is the most important thing for a good linebacker
It's working on your buzz steps while you read the play, and then, in this scenario, reacting to a run play.
It's just repetitive work of the T-plant and driving downhill. He's going off of my commands
The attack step or down hill step doesn't always come into play if your reading high hats ..
how much do u charge for training

I was hoping for some great run support drills for LBs. Still good shit I will do with my DB tho.
