i was watching this while eating chips ahoy! anyone else relate
Jack pot these drills raw af🐆
This is a long time ago hopefully we can get responses. Can you name each individual drill?
Great video for zone type linebacker training.. Nothing to do with being in the trenches or defeating blocks. None the less, great linebacker agility video.
🔥🔥🔥
What is that called and working on at about 2:40 ?
Good stuff
need TO WACTH THIS
This is no joke.
Coach you still here
So @ 2:55 you’re TEACHING to false step??? I’m perplexed as to how this drill is in any way effective as a linebacker. I’ve always been taught no false steps.
I think this is an apex or stem drill for transition coming out of a backpedal, to break on the ball. Many struggle with that last "step in a bucket pause" this drill seems to enhance and coach up the feet to never stop moving, and exploding out of a backpedal which is paramount. A receivers feet don't stop neither should yours.
Coach im 5'4 and just starting football i wanna be a left line backer any tips?
GET LOW FAST HANDS FAST FEET USE EYES
Anyone know the drill he did at 0:50? Tryna learn that one
this is tight. Nice work
Hey! great video, keep it up! looking forward to seeing more :) liked and subbed!
I agree though I am tired of music with the word being used in videos like this.
how much do u charge for training
I'm very inexpensive. Each session is only $50. But I work deals for guys who want to go 3 days a week. It's about an hour to an hour and a half of work. Weight room can be included for extra if you're in the Sacramento area. If not I can provide workouts
Coach you still replying?
Yes what's going on?
+Ryan Battle I'm 6'3 190 and real fast but ion know about wr I get nervous & drop passes but I like playing OLB and I'm 15 & in 10th grade
+Jay Money great size. Everything comes with hard work and developing good work ethics. Perfecting your craft is key. And working on your flaws is even better. Have someone film you're workouts. Breakdown what your are doing right and wrong and work on fixing or bettering it
what are these drills even good for besides obviously coordination
Quickness and body control
+Jack Hammer ok thanks
It is not tryin to teach that technique but still should not lose sight to the ball and it does it often in exchange of speed (but if u don't know where to go you can't talk about speed really) very good training and model!
I have a new email address. It's battlekain3@att.net
Can anybody tell me what kicks he's using?
Coming out of high school, my hips were stiff and I had trouble getting in position to make plays and dropping into coverage. So I looked up videos like this. This really helped me. Thanks
Thank you
can you train my son?
I'm in Sacramento ca. Where are you located?
+Ryan Battle bay area
Im sill in the learning process!!!! but ill get it eventually..
I bet he can dance 😏
Im fenna steal his feet lmao
The attack step or down hill step doesn't always come into play if your reading high hats ..
Definitely a very good video for me to to stay on top of my game coach! Thanks for posting this one... Are there anymore vids with different drills and workouts?
I have a video with a DB I usually work with on my page. Check it out
Thank you!
Nice work
Great video! but there is one thing I noticed is the back step before running, I don't know if all Coaches teach this but my Coach would always get on my back about that.
I like this drill
I see you homie. keep balling doing your thing. God Bless. Check out www.proballerfitness.com
What does the drill at 2:37 meant to improve? anyone know?
Footwork
First step!, is the most important thing for a good linebacker
It's working on your buzz steps while you read the play, and then, in this scenario, reacting to a run play.
It's just repetitive work of the T-plant and driving downhill. He's going off of my commands
Really inspiring vid... Thanks!
10/10 footwork
More quickness and footwork. :)
Ryan awesome work, great athlete, and Ryan Battle I have coached for 27 years, and your videos and drills and athletes you use to demonstrate are amazing.... Dude these videos and drills should have a million hits...you need to do a Face Book Page.....and sale these videos....my favorite is with the Sacramento Linebacker... I can tell you I used your video with my own son...he ended up ranked # 11 in the nation in his recruiting class as Inside Line Backer, and yes he played both ways...at Bishop Gorman High School and was ranked by ESPN # 4 FB-HB in the nation.....3 state titles....I am not exagerating...this is the best stuff...on your LB footwork.... I am the DC for the Vegas Lions & we will use your stuff.
Best Foot Work Coach by far!!! Deionte
I definitely agree that his footwork is insane. But he's not coaching, it's impossible to learn the technique by watching him at that speed.
ima start back up on my drills and fundamentals. this guy should be in the league
Nice workout i have really impoved by doing this exercise
How can u teach me
I was hoping for some great run support drills for LBs. Still good shit I will do with my DB tho.
THAT'S THAT WORK! I see you
I like the variety of short to intermediate drills for man/zone looks-went in and out of breaks good-and flipping the hips. You have good range to cover field. Good teammate/friend to give you a look. He looks like he run some folks over and by them at RB/Slot. Coach Prime- Primetechniques
I would love to know the names of some of his drills and what they do so I can teach it to my players..
Great video the only thing I would change is the workout at the 2:50 mark is teaching a false step. As a linebacker majority of the time you want to have your first initial step forward, not backward.
Great footwork video. I'm gonna implement this into my son's workouts, he plays LB 12yr old going into 5th year. you can check him out on my channel if you like . Thanks again for the info much appreciated.
can i go pro in denmark football
Ye
@1974bigtank thank you. I appreciate that.
Heck of a video good feet work
Can never get enough of this video I train youth football players an this is a major part of my workout
