Super well explained, thank you! I was failing because the component "Volume" wasn't running cause I was using an open brep, but i just changed it to Area and it worked exactly the same way, thanks for sharing!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You... this was the missing mojo from my dilemma... I owe you a beer... cheers!
Hi Amin, thank you for tutorial and I have a questian . The divide point distance measures of the points are not equal and we can make them equal distance ?
hi there i have a problem when connecting the geometry to the xy plane component saying 1. Data conversion failed from Brep to Point do you know why that is
Hi Amin, good video and simple to understand. For some reason when I tried to change the geometry from the ring to the curve creating the star or the other closed shape, it didn't work and said: 1. Volume cannot be computed for an open brep. What am I doing wrong? thanks
Hello, the same thing happened to me. I figured the problem was that in the video firstly he used the ring, which is a volume. However, the star and the other shape are not volumes, they're planar surfaces. Therefore, just change the volume (m3) in the grasshopper for an area (m2), and it should work just fine :)
I was looking for this solution for using custom shapes in grasshopper. Thanks a lot for explaining in detail.

Thank you friend for letting me know how to arrange objects on the face, thank you very much
