to anyone who's disappointed that he lost, i'm actually surprised he played this well. I mean, if you saw him last year, youd think he couldn't have taken a single stock off ppmd. he seems to be playing more melee now, grats on getting to QF pools :D !
Ken did well but I think he got flustered by PP's superior movement. Those dash dances made him stay in place and throw out so many moves all PP had to do was be patient. But he didn't lose his cool completely like he did last year. He's definitely getting better, but PP is just...really good

Despite being over 8 years old, this video is a good representation of just how much the meta has evolved since the MLG era.
Ken vs PP Chris

As someone who has only seen newer Ken, I'm surprised he did this well against PP.
Ken played pretty well for an old-school player.
kinda makes me sad Ken is an afterthought at this point. hoping he motivates himself to be the best again. :
Best is a bit much to hope for IMO... I'd like to see him get into the top 20s though... he's such a great player with so many doubters >.>
Aww, no Marth ditto...
Well, that was actually a pretty good game from Ken. I guess if he trains a bit more often he can get Top 20 at this EVO.
13th you were right.
Suprisingly close for that matchup
I feel like if Ken played PP more, he'd start catching back up.
Very well game from ken, I remember how m2k was crushed by PPMD so, Ken is doing fine
