Hey there! Great videos 🙂 just found your channel and watched a few. Do you happen to have a writeup on how you are passing usb through the quick release? I have a VRS wheelbase and would love to do the same. I have a QR1 style currently with a fanatec wheel modified to USB. Really tempted by this wheel but the store doesn’t appear to have any items showing so maybe sold out 😞
@@oriphinz1 Thanks for checking me out. Much appreciated. So I am using the Dan Suzuki QR system. If you use NRG QR’s, you can sign up on his channel and get access to the plans in his discord. I have a video that explains it as well. He has a video that highlights it, not super hard, but requires you order the PCB’s for the NRG QR. If you need help, let me know.
Whats the total weight minus the QR? Allrgedly its 1.6kg but i find AliExpress seller soecs quite dubious. My NRG wheel with button box gets chonky quick
Wow, I am just curious, hope you don’t mind me asking but did Simdid give you the product to keep and to own for doing the review or do you need to send it back after the review is done? The reason why I asked is because I saw another RUclipsr demanding to “review” their products but I could tell clearly that he has absolutely no intention to pay for it. Also that person was quite rude with the way in which he asked. Nice review and wheel btw! For the funky switch “push” not registering did you use simHUB to map it or within the game itself? Have you tried other games to see if the push button might work? Also for can you explain to me, how is it different to have the devices in Arduino versus having it as “devices” in simHUB? Does having it as a “device” offer more functionality, something that Arduino cannot do? Hope my questions don’t across the wrong way and anyways you do great reviews and keep it up!
First thanks for reaching out and as of now, I believe they sent me to keep after the review. I wouldn't mind sending back, but appreciate the opportunity to review awesome gear. I personally love seeing the small companies grow because it makes competition and products get better, plus I AM the little guy. Lol. Some RUclipsrs have expectations because they review gear and it comes off as entitlement. I stay clear of them, and make sure people know I have a job so I have no problem paying when asked myself. As foe the funky push, it simply isn't enabled on the PCB and noway if mapping as it is NOT registered at all. They have some future products also that will take advantage of more features so be on the look out for better gear. As for having as a device vs. arduino, it makes life much easier and enables you to have a profile attached to the item itself as opposed to having to move arduinos. There are ways to get around it honestly, but moving the one your using to #1 just makes life easier. They will offer this feature with upcoming products and I cannot wait to see. I really think there is a tremendous amount of value and I would have no problem recommending them.
Nice review, thanks; I have one on order, for the price I think it is worth a try. Keep up the good work,
I think you’ll like it. Well built for what it costs and. Nice feel to the grips. Thx mate let me know how much you like it.

@@grayzedynamics awesome thank you! I just watched the video you made and it looks like the perfect solution, time to place a few orders 😁
@@grayzedynamics and thanks for the content, really great videos 🙏
Thanks mate. Glad I could help. Hit me up on Discord if you have questions. 👍🏾🙏🏾
This is bad .. now i got to buy one :) Great Video !
Right... So much fun. And so freaking cheap. Crazy

So with my NRG QR it is 1.98kg. So the QR is about 450g and the shifters are optional so I'd 1.5kg
@@grayzedynamics Thanks! My NRG rim + button box and simucube QR is 2.2kg so this might be a nice option to shave a little mass.
Oh yeah. That is much heavier. Lol

Thanks for your response, you seem like a nice, respectable, honest and a kind man who is passionate in what you do. Cheers
@@grayzedynamics no kidding, I thought the press on the funky was just software related but I guess I was wrong, good to know, thank you
@wangoh-uo1gn thanks I really appreciate the kind words. I do my best. 👍🏾🙏🏾
2 months ago same review in my Chanel is good quality and price
Nice. It is very good. Worth the money for sure.
How much did it cost? I can't see the product itself on ali only the shifters and a button box
Are you not seeing the wheel? It is around $250 for the wheel.
@@grayzedynamics can you send the link maybe? it could be hidden for my country
@frej1414 simdid.aliexpress.com/
@@grayzedynamics I meant the link to the wheel. I see just 2 products there, the wrc pedals and button box, thanks!
