Thank you Marina for the last part about i just know you can get thru it because you did it twice and your mom did it three times and dont live in the fear of it.
Marina, your videos bring me so much happiness and hope. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and I have a 7 month old baby. Thank you for all your help, guidance, positivity and overall strength you provide by doing these videos. 🙏🏼
Thanks for your tips! ❤️ One of my favorite products was organic cold pressed castor oil for my eyebrows and eyelashes to use before, during, and after chemo. Kept all my lashes and only lost a few hairs out of my brows. I also used tea tree nail polish strengthener by Jason to help keep my fingernails and toenails strong and from discoloring from chemo treatments!
Marina your tips and the products you suggested have helped me manage this journey. I have stage 3 ovarian cancer and have been thru 6 rounds chemo and now another 3 cycles of another drug. I came out of this with just a wee bit nerourapthy in my small toe. I believe this is due to my faithfully using the ice gloves and slippers! Bless you for sharing. P.s. got some crazy chemo hair coming back. Lol
Thanks for sharing I’ve completely changed my diet all clean eating a big thanks to you Marina. I actually feel great. Expect in progress of hair loss..I know it just a bump in the road.. treatment is tough But we are all TOUGHER
I love hearing this! We just view food as a medicine. I love some treats sometimes but we need to get food nutrients in our body. I hope you continue to make changes and feel well!
I pray you will be cancer free too! Thank you! That’s a good question about my strength. I feel a strong connection to my intuition and that gives me hope and faith to continue on a path or change it. Life is always sending you signals if you pay attention. I try to be open to learning and growing constantly. We all have the potential to do a little better for ourself or others. Be well!
I have a special pillows with the washable pillows cases for sleeping after surgery. With out them I would not survive 😉I can give them for free to someone, they cost $60 but you need to pay for the shipping or pick up, Indiana area.
Thank you Marina for your videos they are really helping me. I have dropped a mention of you in a video description of mine and linked in your channel name. I couldn't remember your name while I was doing my live.
Thank you so much for all the videos! You are an inspiration to all of us on this journey!! One question: Did you have to have any lymph nodes removed during surgery?
Hi Marina just watched your Video what to bring for Chemo Treatment, I just ordered the Cold Socks, Cold Gloves I start my Treatment July 11th 2022 what kind of pink mask did you use?
Good! I know the cold therapy will help. I used an eye mask to cover my eyes for rest. You could even roll a small towel and put that over your eyes to block light so you can rest.
my sister is getting chemo . thanks this helps ! me get ideas for u . can i ask u is it safe to use baking soda to whiten teeth ? my teeth are sensitive what do u suggest ? thank u
Marina Thank you sharing your journey and the wonderful tips. Can you share what shampoo you use I’m 6 months post chemo I have been using baby shampoo but think it’s time to progress to regular shampoo. FYI I love the hair exfoliate you recommended.
I have a question, the cool gloves for preventing neuropathy, do you use it during the six hours the chemo lasts ? Or do you use in intervals of 20 min each hour?
Chemo for me was one hour for each infusion so 2 hours in the chemo chair (not the hour before of premeds or the blood draw and labs). So I would wear them the whole time but I would ease into the ice gloves. I would start on the outside of the glove with my hand on it then start to put my hand in them. It’s very cold but will help prevent neuropathy.
@@MarinaBlackford I fasted for quite a few hours before since mine was at 7 am.. and I snacked during and only ate what I wanted after. Which wasn’t much. It was a crazy day! I’ll definitely try working out more on infusion day and before to see if it helps my leg pain for next time.

Marina, I am newly diagnosed with breast cancer, have just had two chemo treatments, so am still a newbie at all of this. Thank you for your videos and tips. I am starting to lose my hair and would like to hear from you...and others...how you came to terms with the loss, and what you did to deal with it. I don't like the idea of wigs, but don't know how I will feel about going without. I am looking at videos about tying scarves, looking at caps and hats, etc., but am a bit overwhelmed with it all right now. Any suggestions anyone can make would be appreciated.
Hi, thank you for being here! I’m sorry for what you’re going through. Losing the hair is a big part of the journey. I think you said it well, how do you deal with the loss? It is just that; a loss. I would select a scarf and a head wrap that look comfortable and pretty to you. I think it’s important to have those ready. Wigs are great option if you want to do that. I would suggest going to a wig shop first to try some on if you can. To be honest, you don’t know how you’re going to feel until it’s all gone. And I think we all need to feel those emotions when we’re there. That’s the only way to get through that part of the journey. Take it one day at a time as hard as it may seem. I’d love to hear back from you to see how you’re doing. ❤️

Thank you for watching! Your taste should get better after treatment! May you be cured and well.
I ended up putting the ice gloves on my feet and the feet socks on my hands the cold was too much for my fingertips!
That’s a great idea! I agree that the ice gloves are very cold! I had to ease into using them for the 2 hours.

Thank you! I had a few lymph nodes removed from each side after double mastectomy and one removed after lumpectomy.

Hi! I pray she heals.
Baking soda removes stain. Hydrogen peroxide whitens. Use both gently. Have a dentist check yearly.

Hi! You’re welcome! I use something very similar to this shampoo. It’s gentle and sulfate free.

I was told fasting for a few hours before, during, and after treatments help reduce side effects. What are your thoughts on that? ❤️
I think this depends on the person. Try fasting or try a light meal before. You’ll have to see how you feel.

Hi ma'am I'm watching from pilipines and I'm stage 2b breast cancer, I'm done my breast surgery 😢

What are your thoughts on Fenbenazole?
I have no experience with that. My understanding is it’s not approved for humans though.
Good job ❤
