I have not had chemo but I am diabetic and have neuropathy. I found Thc lotion really helps to almost eliminate my neuropathy but If I miss a few days it comes right back.

Hi Marina, so grateful I’ve found ur video in YT am just recently diagnosed wd BC S2 and I experienced almost everything u’v felt after chemo. My hair is starting to fall upon writing, I’m a bit scared of it, coz all this time I dnt want to think about it but when I see some hair falls, it slowly sinking in my mind that this is it, I have cancer. Watching ur video inspires me to live and calm myself knowing in the comment section that I’m not alone. Searching for some of your videos which I think might help me in my journey. God Bless Us all who are fighting wd this Big C. Sending hugs 🤗🥰
I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Hodgkin Cancer Stage 4 on the 27th of October 2023 and started chemo on 15th of November it hasn't been an easy journey but I'm happy and grateful to God on the 19th of June my pet scan shows no trace of cancer in my body ,I'm happy and pray that God continue healing all cancer patients
I pray that everyone diagnosed with cancer make a full recovery ,it is most difficult time for our family , watching my sister n niece fight this ,had their first round of chemo n god it was painful to watch them go through that especially the body pains ,am praying for them to make a full recovery .god bless everyone who's going through this 🙏🙏
As a triple negative breast cancer 5 year surviver i have to say that chemo affects everyone different. My chemo was very aggressive regimen and definitely kicked my butt but i got through it and so can you. Chemotherapy is different for everyone and i was a very healthy fit 52 year old but i could not work and definitely couldn't work out. I slept pretty much through most of it , lost 30 pounds due to metal mouth , nausea and no appetite . I dont want to sugar coat this. It can be difficult but you will come through it ok. Keep the faith.
Absolutely different for everyone. We all have to take it one day at a time through chemo. I’m glad you’re healed. 🙏🏼 My experience is my own. I believe taking my tips into consideration can help others out there that want to move or need to work. I had to be very intentional through chemo because I had to work the first time being my head of household. I had to have energy the second time to help my baby and 2 year old. I’m grateful I could do all of this.
@Jera Moore No , did not have a mastectomy. I was fortunate that the chemotherapy not only shrunk my tumors in my breast but also had a positive lymph node, I was able to have a lumpectomy. After my lumpectomy surgery I was put on a chemotherapy pill for 4 months called Xeloda ( piece of cake) then 33 radiation treatments. You can do this ,the chemo was the worst for me especially the chemo called the red devil after that it was much easier. If you have anymore questions please write back I will help you anyway I can.
My wife just got diagnosed with stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, the common version of breast cancer. She's starting chemo soon before she goes for the lumpectomy to remove the tumor so she doesn't lose her nipple. I'm praying she recovers well from this; cancer took my grandpa, it won't take my wife!
I had chemo 33 years ago. Things were different then. Cancer visited my life in the form of breast cancer. I had a cold cap; saved half my hair. I got some mouth sores.. Nothing tasted right but I found I loved pumpkin yogurt! I slept, and slept, and slept. I had itchy skin. I drank gallons of water. I had chemo brain. I drank No alcohol.it was very hard on me but my kids were 9 and 10 and I am a single mother. All I wanted was to live! God has been very good to me!
My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014,she is still going to chemo,I make sure I go with her for support,my continued prayers of healing for everyone going through this.❤️🙏
I’m also having my chemotherapy right now and my 4th round on Monday. Everything you said marina is true and I’m going thru it . Just be positive and have faith in God and believe in his love. But my oncologist said that I will not lose my hair with colon cancer treatment. Whenever I had my chemo day I feel all of you mentioned specially nausea and no appetite, tired and sore body . But I drink plenty of water to flash out the medicine and take plenty of sleep rest . The best medicine is prayer. Thank you for all the sharings.Praying for all cancer patients. We are strong enough to fight.God is Good.
I wish healing, love and peace to all those who has cancer or looking after someone with cancer. The human body is prone to all sorts of illness, but now a days there's advancement in medical treatments so keep your chin up and keep going. YOU WILL BEAT IT ❤️ YOU ARE STRONG AND YOU ARE LOVED ❤️
I have metastatic breast cancer and went thru 12 rounds of IV Taxol. I'm now on oral chemo/hormone treatment and doing well. Agree with everything you said, Marina. I used nail strengthener polish on all my newly brittle nails during chemo. I have permanent neuropathy in both feet--just numb and tingling but no pain so it's tolerable. I took Gabapentin for a few months which didn't help and caused me to be so sleepy I could barely function. It's a great drug for some but not for me and it didn't touch my neuropathy. Neither did Alpha Lipoic Acid but I am still taking it till I finish the bottle. When you switch to oral chemo/hormone or targeted therapy, please keep a strict schedule for your meds. I take mine every 12 hours (8 am and 8 pm) and they seem to work better this way. I take Verzenio and Letrizole and have absolutely no problems with either med at this time. I got thru the worst of it (severe diarrhea in the beginning) and did fine. I found the biggest help for me was to eat small snacks every few hours rather than full meals. Everything with high protein was good for me as I lost so much weight during my chemo. I love hot soup, yogurt, and kind of fell in love with Ensure drinks. They make an apple drink which is delish and great for protein intake. I ate more eggs, cottage cheese and applesauce. Even peanut butter on crackers was easy to eat when I literally had no appetite at all. I had very little nausea but my main symptom was extreme fatigue. I think I slept more during that year (IV chemo plus starting the oral chemo) and it was rough. My advice to all starting chemo: STAY POSITIVE. You will get thru it. It's challenging but do-able. Get plenty of sleep, gentle easy exercise or more if you can stand it. Eat well, eat high protein and low or no sugar. Hydrate. Take a daily multivitamin which will help. Best of luck to everyone fighting cancer. It's not the end of the world for most. It's just a bump in the road but can be overcome by the majority who are diagnosed. Praying for all of you.
Thanks l needed to hear this, starting chemo very soon, aggressive grade 3 cancer so they are going to hit it with everything, not looking forward to losing my waist length hair, will try the ice cap if it's available, breast cancer was not in my plans for this year but staying positive and I am going to kick it's butt!! Good luck to all the Australian ladies going through this, we have amazing support from the pink angels here so look them up and have a chat 💓💗💖
@@jeannettehobourn4793 I forgot to mention: before they start the IV chemo on you, please ask for pre-medication if they don't offer it already. When I had my IV chemo, I got an antihistamine, an anti-emetic and a steroid all IV just prior to getting the chemo each week. The pre-meds made me sleepy which was fine but also they helped cut back on nausea. Best of luck to you, Jeanette. I'll be praying for you to recover completely and kick cancer's butt.
Yes dear, thanks for sharing this information, I would add one important point on that, please try to revise some of the food s you eat, they contain lots sugar, try vegetables, look for soursop, tumeric and other cancer fighting ingredients for better results.
I just got 30 and found out that I have bc 3 days back. I pray for everyone with cancer. I am sad and scared but trying to fight it off with a positive attitude. Thank-you for the video.
Amen. Try sucking on ice during chemo if possible to help your taste buds. Use an alcohol free mouth rinse and a gently toothpaste like sensodyne or Tom’s natural. Yes, it’s possible to conceive after chemo.
I lost a few family members from cancer I hate it now my sister is dealing with it I pray and love all y’all who is battling cancer may god protect and bless you all 🙏🏾😞
Thank you for sharing this. I had to look that up. So this is to organize the IV lines? The ones I could find attached to bed rails. What about infusion chairs? If you find a link to one that is sold individually let me know. Thank you!
Just finished radiation for metastatic cervical cancer to my right lung and two lymph nodes. I am waiting for results and praying it goes down enough to have chemo and or immunotherapy Thank you you for all tips!
CT came back it spread in four nodes and two spots in my liver. Doc feels confident we are going to kill it. My port next week and Chemo in January. Prayers for you 🙏. Is yours cervical?
@@moongypsysc I have a port. Love it. No more digging for veins for the chemo and blood tests. I believe in God and I put him first! Have faith. I’m happy your doctors are optimistic. I pray and I think as if I’m already healed. I don’t utter the C word anymore. You will beat this🙏🏻💜✝️
@@debc7341I think it will be ok. I have very good veins but towards the end of cisplatin they offered one but I figured I wouldn't need i This time I am glad it's one of the first steps cause all that at once seems a lot. I try not to say it. I also envisioning healing and believing.
I’m 24 years old and have been diagnosed with bc . I start chemo tomorrow , i’ve been worried and sad about how i’m going to feel and the physical changes that are coming after chemo and seeing you makes me hopeful thank you for the tips ; im also getting the injection every 14 days to preserve my ovaries which makes me happy throughout all of this because all i’ve ever wanted to be is a mother ! Thank you for your video prayers to you 🙏🏽
There is absolutely hope for you! You will heal and can have children someday. Just get through this time one day at a time. Take care of yourself and you will heal. Much love to you! ❤️
I had a double mastectomy in November. I definitely agree with all your tips. Spicy food was something I craved. I ate whatever I could tolerate even though it may have not been the healthiest but it was calories. The neuropathy is what I found horrible mine is permanent 😢 the main thing is keeping a positive attitude attitude. I pray for all of us cancer warriors ❤
@@mitch5222 I only had pain meds a few days post-op. However I have noticed that as people age, over 65 yrs. they're ability to produce their bodies own endorphins to kill pain seems to decrease. If over 65 you may suffer chronic pain which does require monitored pain medication long term unfortunately.
I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in December of 2023, had a hysterectomy in January of 2024, starting my second week of radiation today and going to prep for a Port tomorrow to start chemo & yes I am afraid 😟
I have just completed round 4 of 6 with chemo (throat cancer)and have to say it has thus far been nowhere near as bad as I imagined.Fatigue is definitely present, stay positive fellow sufferers 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I received 35 doses of radiation along with carboplatin once a week for 7 weeks for stage 4 throat cancer in 2020. I had my 2 year PET/CT scan in December 2022 with no existing disease noted. Is chemotherapy the only treatment you will have?
I had Hodgkin’s twice over 40 years ago; things were so different back then. Hoping and praying for all of you going through any type of cancer. Try to believe you will beat this; it truly helps. Love to all of you.
Why does it seem like all the good people go through the worst in life? It's just not fare. You and the women like you here on youtube seem like genuinely beautiful souls. I hope everything works out. You're incredible. I'm sure you'll get through anything life throws at you. You're a true inspiration.
Good question, but that's life I guess! I heard this recently, "life is not a problem to be solved, it's a mystery to be lived". So here's to living it one day at a time! Thank you!
@@Eereenah I took the good part of the statement but you’re right! No one deserves something over another. I honestly would never wish anyone to go through this. If you are, I hope you’re healing! ❤️
@@Eereenah Some People , bad people, go through life without suffering any consequences. Some people "not deamed bad" deserve it? That makes no sense. If anything, I was saying the good die young. The evil live a long time. You think I care if a pedophile gets beat up or killed in prison? Nope. If that's mean then I guess I'm a mean person.
I hope you are doing well! As a side note, liquid fasting (no sugar) 2-3 days before, the day of and the day after chemo treatments is extremely helpful. It dramatically reduces the side effects of chemo and accelerates tumor shrinkage. New research is showing that fasting can be a very effective cancer treatment, in addition to chemo, and even on its own.
@@edio.8431 Absolutely! There are many anti-cancer nutrients that can help kill cancer, and can be taken during a fast... turmeric, garlic, ginger, macha green tea, vitamin D3, omega 3 fatty acids, organic moringa leaf powder, etc. Many of these can be taken on empty stomach in supplement form and found in (or added to) different foods. A close friend of mine is in total remission from stage 3 lung cancer, after only just 3 chemo treatments, several months of intermittent prolonged liquid fasting, NO sugar/carbs (cancer thrives on sugar), and using these nutrients. I believe this is the best overall treatment for cancer, and the earlier you start these protocols the better. I take many of these regularly as cancer prevention because it runs in my family.
Can you be more specific, like what liquids? If no sugar I’m assuming not even juicing fruits or even some veggies? Maybe a bone broth diet? My brother has chemo scheduled soon. My concern with fasting is he’s on pain meds..not sure he could go without food on pain meds.
Please do not hand out potentially dangerous information to those who are desperate. The attitude towards the role of fasting in cancer patients should be very cautious, as the risk of malnutrition/sarcopenia may be associated with this approach. The effects so far have been tested thoroughly only in animals and only on certain cancers.
I had surgery, chemo then radiation. I'm on chemical treatment now. I'm a male so was totally blown away when I found out I had bc. It had spread to my lymph noids. I experienced almost everything you mentioned but had a hard time eating and even drinking water. I wish I'd come across this before I started going thru it all. Hopefully a lot of people will read this before they start the journey. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Dan, thank you for sharing! Yes, males can get bc so I try to consider that when I talk about my journey. I can’t imagine how it was for you. I hope you’re doing well now! Be well!
Just Had surgery to remove male breast cancer two weeks ago meeting the chemo team tomorrow to discuss the way forward stay strong all those fighting cancer
How are you doing now? My aunt has stage 2 bc & has had 2 lumpectomies & his having her mastectomy & reconstruction on 1 breast this Tuesday, then chemo & radiation. I lost my dad to cancer. Sending love to all of you. ❤
I sure wish I had found your channel before I started my Chemo. Instead I found a whole lot of info, & what I needed to buy that I really didn't need. Btw, I was diagnosed with stage 3C Ovarian Cancer in 2021. Did 6 rounds of Chemo total, but broken up into 3 rounds, then debulking of the tumor, & a total hysterectomy. Then I finished the last 3 rounds of Chemo in November of last year. My Oncologist told me I was in remission last December, so it's been 1 year as a Cancer Survivor. I'm still continuing treatment to keep the cancer cells at bey with Avastin, every 3 weeks. Avastin is ok, but the side effects with Kidney issues, & High Blood Pressure, are truly a bummer. Love, love, love knowing there are survivors like you out there Marina, God Bless!
Hi there hadlee, how are you doing today? Would you recommend chemo or would you rather recommend trying alternative, natural treatments? I'm 36 years old, single mom to a 10 year old boy and was diagnosed with stage 2 high grade ovarian cancer. They did a hysterectomy and took everything out. I have to make a decision now what to do next and I'm torn between chemo and natural. I'm dreading the (longterm) damage chemo might do, but also the uncertainty if alternative treatments are strong enough to beat it. Any advice from your own experience? I'd really appreciate it cause there's too many different voices out there ❤️
@@TheHelenhunter natural things are best but to aviod disease. Once it is diagnosed we should go for proper treatment but in parallel natural and organic things can help very much to reduce the side effects. Moringa leaves (70 gm/day), wheat grass (fresh juice without water), fruits, soursp fruit or soursop herbal tea, coconut milk and coconut water are some of the best things to reduce side effects. Don't worry you will be fine soon
I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer 5/1/2011 and just found out I relapsed a week ago. My initial chemo and debulking surgery was just like yours 3 chemo rounds, surgery, then the last 3 chemo rounds. After 10-11 years N.E.D., I kinda took my remission for granted. I let down my guard. I asked for this last CA-125 though and its a good thing I did. It had been well over a year since the last one. It has been 5,6, or 7 since 2012, but it was 278 this time. So I knew, but we confirmed I have at tumor the size of a tennis ball and possible lymph node involvement. I am scheduled for round one this Friday. i would like to have my tumor sample sent for genomic testing but not sure how to make that happen.I have a Medicare Advantage plan through Kaiser Permanente since January and they’ve been great so far. Has anyone got their insurance to cover the test? I didn’t even know about it in 2011 so i didnt get it done. I did get genetic testing and I am BRCA1+.
@@dorothyderakhshani8764 God bless you, Dorothy! Since my comment on this thread, my CA-125 as continued to go up in 2 number increments. My CA-125 marker number is 30 now, but within the "safe" zone still. But with the markers continuously going up, I'm scared. My last Ct-Scan was good, & with no signs of disease. but my oncologist has decided to monitor me closely, & schedule Ct-Scans every 3 months again. Btw, I am BRAC negative. Good luck to you!
Very informative. I had stage 3A breast cancer, and it’s literally a blur. I ended up in the hospital for three weeks after my first round of chemo, as I had pneumonia and I wasn’t responding to antibiotics. So sick during the first round! I had an allergic reaction to the second round of chemo, and the nurses literally saved my life. I really experienced the brain fog, and at times it was embarrassing. Thank you for this video, and god bless all of you fighting cancer. ❤️
I have just had my 4th chemotherapy treatment, my hair has started to thin so made the decision to have it all cut off. I am a bit nervous about it, but it will happen tomorrow. This morning my husband went out and came back with his head shaved😢 and said it's the woman you are inside that I love🙂 I have been watching your videos and you have helped me a lot so thank you, and with Joe by my side I will get through this. Sending love and hugs to all of you going through this, especially to the people who love us.💕
That is so sweet to hear Ian! I’m happy you have such a supportive husband! Mine was the same. It makes such a difference. Remember when you lose your hair that it’s the chemo working. You are healing. ❤️
@@MarinaBlackford Yes! I had my head shaved about two weeks after my chemo started. I was already losing tons of hair so just went with it and did fine. I wore a knit cap on my head for a year and now the hair has grown back in a lot. Mine never changed but some get "chemo curls"--- a different type of hair that shows up.

Thank you Marina and everyone for your encouraging advice. I am 67 and just got diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. I have always been very healthy and athletic, so this came out of left field. Many emotions and fears. Your personal stories help. I start my first chemo treatment in about 4 days. Have to be honest, I’m Dreading it. 🌿
Aunt Bee, my 68 year old husband has stage 4 colorectal cancer with Mets to the liver. We start chemo this Monday. We’re hopeful and taking it one day at a time. We hope you are doing fabulously. 🙂
I'm 19 and got diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me and feeling strength during these treatments🫶💕
Hey, I was diagnosed with that exact sarcoma as well (only 4 to 10 new cases each year in France). Am starting chemo next week. Things will be fine for us 😊
@@phuonganhnguyen8826 wow, my doctor told me the same thing about France and there were 4 persons with like my sacoma. First they told me nothing to worry about. Yesterday I had appointment for control of the scar. But then they told me I have rhabdomyosarcoma and a unique version of it that they don’t know. Also don’t know how to heal. The tumor is gone a month ago bc they were thinking it was a good tumor. I don’t know what to do or what I have to feel.. I’m 24 y/o girl from The Netherlands
@@lisakaats7251 So have they concluded that it will be fine for you from now on :D? The tumor is gone, you are in normal condition whole again? If so, I am so so happy to hear this good news from you. Yes, mine also stems from a large scar on my belly (detected 4 years after the belly surgery). I have been monitored by two doctors who are 2 of the best in Europe (or the world) regarding this kind of tumour I think. After the biopsie we felt much relieved already that it is not a malignant cancer, so we apply the "wait and see" approach. If it was malignant, I could have not survived 1 year without immediate treatment. In your case, it has passed its stable phase and went down the reduction phase quite fast, so it is gone (Congratulations !!!). We do not know why, it is a very individual matter. Unfortunately, it is still in the growing phase in my case, and I am starting chemo to limit its growth (and hopefully stimulate it to gradually reduce size by its own, to finally disappear) in order not to damage other organs around the tumour ;). Then other MRI as I have done in the past year to see if the chemo slows down the tumor.
Thank you so much for doing this video! My mom just found out she had colon Cancer and she’s very scared. My sis & I went together and got mom a Chemo bag set from Amazon but there’s so much more to know about Chemo and what you said is a very big help! I pray you beat it this time too and that God willing you never get it again! I can tell you are A beautiful person inside & out! 🙏🏻
Yes thats a great video. I am too diag with breast cancer. Did my Chemo and Masectomy. The chemo no words for it. God was great with me. So powerful Jesus Christ.
In 2014 I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I had to have chemo only. The only food I could taste was chocolate. Chemo brain was a hard thing to deal with. I had neuropathy before cancer so they had to alter my chemo cocktail. I had double mastectomy which added to body changes. Ive been cancer free almost 10 years.
Just diagnosed. Blessing to have found your information. Ironically, I have a little shop called Marina Marina, named for my mother, Margaret Marina, and my daughter, Icy Marina. God has a great plan!!💗🙏🏽🦋
This is invigorating. I had breast ca in 2002. A recurrence in 2022. Didn't have chemo in both. Did Zoladex in the first and currently doing ibrance now. You really empowered and emboldened me. Thanks
Instead of nausea I got chemo belly symptoms after the 3rd cycle. It felt as if all my organs were about to burst and cancer was consuming each one of them. If you are to experience this, do not panic as I did,; relax, talk to your doctor, and look for ways to get rid of the pressure ie massage your belly.
Thank you so much! Thank you sooo much for being here and sharing your story. I am somewhat of a worried soul-who is weary of the future and I just want to be less fearful and more educated. This video has brought me great joy. I admire you! Thank you for sharing your experience❤️

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that. I have not had a flap surgery. I think it could be a good option for those that do not want an implant but having another incision especially on the stomach makes me nervous. I didn't realize you were an Arizona girl. I'm a native here. I started watching your channel after a scare a couple years ago. Turns out I was diagnosed in October with breast cancer. I did 2 surgeries and radiation (brachytherapy) and will not need chemo. I do really appreciate the work you do and glad that I found you when I did because I knew right where to go for practical, non-medical info. Keep doing what you do!
Mix strong coffee into your shampoo and massage your scalp as much as possible. Worked wonders for me. I can run my fingers through my hair after 3 months.
I'm really very very very scared of Chemo which I'm starting from April 16th...I'm unable to hold myself from crying 😭... extremely scared of side effects, neuropathy and hair loss 😭😭
Thanks for sharing - I had very bad splitting of my nails at the slightest pressure after two rounds of Chemo and this is the first time I have heard anyone talk about this. I found a thick, neutral colour nail polish helped a lot, so long as it was regularly applied. The Neuropathy in my feet was (is) the worst side effect I experience and now, 2 years in and 6 months after finishing my last round of Chemo, the pain stops me exercising or walking / standing for any length of time - probably permanent damage and essentially my fault, as I just accepted that the significant (although temporary - lasting a few hours) issues I was having with motor skills in my legs and feet after infusion were normal. The pain itself started to set in about 4 months after completing my first treatment (Oxyplatin / Capacetabine) and is still getting progressively worse, nearly two years later. So, do not hesitate to discuss this with your Oncologist ASAP - you do not want to ignore it and be in permanent pain (no drugs I’ve tried so far have had any beneficial effect). Thanks again for sharing your personal experience - a so much better and more useful presentation than anything I have seen, put out in Medical or University Teaching videos. The very best of luck with your battle 😊👍🇦🇺
Thank you for watching and commenting! This feedback means so much to hear! I appreciate that. Neuropathy is sneaky in that it can come on slowly and stay around. It is so strange. I hope you have some relief. Keep healing and going! ❤️

Thanks for such a great video. Love your positive attitude. I was diagnosed with TNBC in May 2022 and have just had my 3rd round of chemo. It’s very up and down with nausea and fatigue being the worst. Thanks for sharing your journey x

Hi Marina... Thank you for your video. I'm preparing for my first chemo session in about two weeks. This really helped put my mind at ease. Also... I got a big kick out of your comment about running a marathon. As a non runner, this is a big deal whether or not you have gone through chemo ;)
My mums diagnosed with stage 3 grade 3 her2+ breast cancer. Got a double mastectomy and is now due to start chemo. Shes very scared and is sort of spiralling. Just thinking of the worst. Idk how to help her but its very encouraging to see people have normal lives during and after
Thank you very much for this detailed video what problems you faced and a cancer patient may face after chemo, my father 2 days back diagnosed with metastatic carcinoma, doctor told to do the PET CT SCAN, after that they can start the treatment..... So i was searching for all types of videos regarding this and stopped at your channel which helped me a lot to know about chemo and side effects.... You are a very beautiful lady from inside and outside, u r fighting so nicely till now and will continue... Just a heartfull thanks for sharing your experiences with us and I pray to God all the cancer patients live peacefully and always be mentally strong to fight back!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
If we only knew what we know now! This was a wonderful presentation. So true! We all must continue to fight to live another day. Continue to stand up to cancer.
Herceptin treatment now after surgery, chemo, radiation and on anti estrogen pills Anastrozole. Just checked bones and heart and both are adversely affected now. So I'm starting to feel regretful. It feels like the treatment is what's killing me. My body is thin, look tired, and scared I made all bad decisions. Also no familial support which is bad. Switching to keto diet but mostly scared about my ♥
Hi! I’m 35, and was diagnosed with stage 2, ++_ IDC two months ago. Just finished recovery from lumpectomy. Beginning 4 rounds of docetaxol next week. So nervous 😖, but your videos have helped me so much! More than you know! Thank you!!!!!! 💗
Going in for Round 2 Tuesday. First round went well but admit I’m nervous, especially about neuropathy and lymphedema. My thick hair is combing out in lumps but I’m not too concerned about it although it’s weird. Definitely using hand and feet ice. Thx for sharing!
Thanks for watching. I hope tomorrow goes well. I know the icing will help prevent neuropathy. I’m sorry about the hair. It’s a hard part of the journey. But you’ll start fresh and new again once you’re all done with treatment. Keep loving yourself. ❤️
Thank you for this video, I’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer at age 32 and I’m trying to prepare myself in every way possible for all the treatment ahead! ❤️

Hi I’m a Mom my daughter 38 just diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.Thank You For sharing this valuable information I’m lost as to how I can help so I found you.
My biggest problem with chemo was severe vasculitis, I became an instant bleeder. For asthma and eczema I began using Dupixent in 2021 after 7 months the vasculitis disappeared and has never come back.
Thank you for all you information! I have been recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I am 59 and running and working out is a huge part of me. I am scared. But your video is very informative and puts me at ease.
Hi! Thank you for watching! Yes, I wanted to give hope to those that were like me and needed to see a different story for the cancer journey. I think it’s possible to get through the treatment well and get back to what you love. Staying hopeful was, one of the best things I did for myself.
Thank you for your tips. You are beautiful and such an inspiration! I am 52 and just got diagnosed with stage 3 invasive breast cancer. I don’t know the plan yet, I am seeing the doctor in 5 days. I am just doing all the research to be prepared for what’s to come. I wish you amazing health and a beautiful long life ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for sharing your journey. I just retired from 39 years as a hygienist and diagnosed with had and neck cancer. I’m making a list of things I’ll need and your list is so helpful. Wishing you health and happiness. 💪🏽💕
Thank you, Marina. Just got diagnosed last week with Breast Cancer. Praying for you. I am so grateful for these tips! in general so grateful for the many youtube vlogs of people sharing their journey. I feel less alone.

Thank you so much for doing these types of videos!!! I am a three time cancer survivor and I wish I had had this video before my wife contracted cancer a year and a half ago. Praise God she is fully recovered and we are living in back to a normal life and a great marriage! However, I have a dear friend that I love and admire very much and she just started treatment for breast cancer. I should try this link just today. I am positive this video will bless her life and help her through. Truly God uses people like you to bless thousands of others!!! This video information is real, compassionate, and practical for anyone who is about to journey through the chemotherapy experience. Great advice!!!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear you and you’re wife are healed! I pray your friend is healed too. You’re a great friend for looking for ways to help her. Amen for people like you and I’m thankful to have the chance to pay it forward. Be well!
Thank you for sharing. I was diagnosed last month. Just got my port the first of this month. I'll start chemo this Tuesday the 9th. Thanks again for sharing.
Just found your vid, thank you, I have Lynch Syndrome, had one cancer and a hysto, was in 4th year of check and now have lung cancer. I will be doing chemo, first time for me, and appreciate what it took for you to make this vid which is very helpful, Thank You and I hope and pray you will always be a survivor and that you will never have to deal with cancer again!
I had a double mastectomy two weeks ago because I had a suspicious lump and my family has a history of metastatic breast cancer. It was not an easy decision to make but I want to live as many years possible for my baby. 😭
That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I just finished my 4th round of chemo and it was reassuring to hear from you, that the experiences I was having are not my imagine.
Appreciate you sharing your experience. Just had round one Thursday before last and feeling better. Lots of GI issues and neuropathy issues now. Keeping head held high because of people like you God bless. Thanks Jo
I thank you for guiding other patients. I am really proud of bold people like you. To have hairs over head is not that important to be a beautiful person, but smile and positive attitude certainly makes a person wonderfully beautiful. God bless you and all.
Just got my port installed today. It went on the inside part of my upper arm instead of my chest. Also received my cold packs and anti-nausea wristbands from Amazon in just one and two days. Thanks for the product lists! Day 1 of chemo starts tomorrow.
First day went surprisingly well. No side effects during infusion. Although the visit lasted 7 hours. Since then, lots of mild headaches and upset stomach. Had an Accupuncture session 3 days later. Didn't notice any effect. But will continue for now.
Well got it went okay for you. I would continue to try the acupuncture. Your affects from chemo usually get worse as time goes on as far as fatigue and neuropathy. I hope it continues to go OK! One day at a time!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I just hit your subscribe button! I was diagnosed the first of march with lung cancer. They (docs) say stage 3 or 4. I’ve been though it already in such a short time. Having no insurance, I was turned away from a few doctors. I was given financial aid through the hospital I’m going to. I was scheduled then denied for an EBUS procedure by one doctor. I’m 61, divorced, single and have worked since I was 15 and receive very little ss money. I received state Medicaid towards the end of march. I have not missed a phone call or appointment and have been diligent on my part. Thank God I have a wonderful stepfather who helps and guides me a long. I received my first intravenous chemotherapy on may 19. My doctor originally wanted to put me on oral chemo known as targrisso however, there was a problem with that, blah, blah, blah. Good news though finally tagrisso approved, I have another appt with my oncologist on Thursday and he will tell me when to start the new original pills to be taken daily. My prognosis is not good. This medication may give me two more years of life. I cried for the whole first month of finding out about this and now I have just accepted what is going on because…it is what it is. I pray to my Heavenly Father that He will wrap His arms around me and take me to His Kingdom when he calls. Thank you sweethearted lady again, for sharing your knowledge and posting on Amazon which I will be purchasing tomorrow 😊.
Thank you so much for this. I have a friend who is older and about to begin chemo on the 10th of January. I feel helpless to prepare her, so stuff like this is extremely important. I greatly appreciate your time.

I slept pretty much through most of it , lost 30 pounds due to metal mouth , nausea and no appetite
I’m triple negative too. Did u get double mastectomy

Hi! These tips will help her. I pray she heals fully! 🙏🏼❤️

Thank you for writing this. We just found out my mother has pancreatic cancer. Praying for the best outcome for her 🤲❤️
I have metastatic breast cancer and went thru 12 rounds of IV Taxol.
Thank you for sharing! Great advice here! Someone needed to hear that! ❤️

I hope everything works out. You're incredible. I'm sure you'll get through anything life throws at you. You're a true inspiration.
Good question, but that's life I guess! I heard this recently, "life is not a problem to be solved, it's a mystery to be lived". So here's to living it one day at a time! Thank you!
That's a bit mean. It's like saying some people (not deemed bad) deserve it? It's an awful thing all round and the most democratic illness.

Hi! but would you suggest any supplements during fasting? Thanks
Minerals elmnt packages will help you have a good fast
Can you be more specific, like what liquids? If no sugar I’m assuming not even juicing fruits or even some veggies? Maybe a bone broth diet? My brother has chemo scheduled soon. My concern with fasting is he’s on pain meds..not sure he could go without food on pain meds.
Please do not hand out potentially dangerous information to those who are desperate. The attitude towards the role of fasting in cancer patients should be very cautious, as the risk of malnutrition/sarcopenia may be associated with this approach. The effects so far have been tested thoroughly only in animals and only on certain cancers.

Hi! I’m sorry to hear that. Thank goodness for your nurses! I pray you’re healing.
You are a terrific communicator. Thanks for these tips for my wife of 43 years recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Good luck to you! BR
Thank you! I pray she does well.
I have just had my 4th chemotherapy treatment, my hair has started to thin so made the decision to have it all cut off. I am a bit nervous about it, but it will happen tomorrow. This morning my husband went out and came back with his head shaved😢 and said it's the woman you are inside that I love🙂
I have been watching your videos and you have helped me a lot so thank you, and with Joe by my side I will get through this.

I'm 19 and got diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me and feeling strength during these treatments🫶💕
Your welcome! One day at a time during this journey. That’s all we need to handle. ❤️

Instead of nausea I got chemo belly symptoms after the 3rd cycle. It felt as if all my organs were about to burst and cancer was consuming each one of them.

Bless you💖⚓
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
