Bruh 1:38, when Chara is portrayed telling Frisk "we'll be together forever, won't we?" I feel like this is exactly what Asriel said to Chara before absorbing their soul and going to the surface. So if you think about it this way, Asriel was the first person to show Chara any kindness or love, and Chara, probably really appreciating Asriel for that, decided to pass that kindness on when Frisk fell, assuming it was for a similar reason as them, aka "not a very nice reason". In a way, all three understand one another and care for each other very much. At least this is the message I'm getting from this AMV.

Everyone who makes AMVs should be like you. About the AMV itself, I loved how fitting the song was and how nice the animations were.

Both may be toxic, but being there, learning the stories of both - Frisk’s and Jesus’ is what made me who I am today in this failed, yet still beautiful world. A Christian rock song with Undertale arts is really what endears me.

I like to imagine them singing it to each other, with dramatic shifts in implication the verses have for each of the two. But the end is the same: we're together now, for better or for worse, but what you gave me in the process was invaluable, so I hope everyone can see you in me.
I've always believed that in the genocide route, it was Frisk (the player) that corrupted Chara, not the other way around. In life, Chara was a bratty and rather macabre kid, but not actually evil; in the pacifist route, there is no sign of her murderous intentions. In the genocide route, it was player/Frisk that made the active, conscious decision to dust everyone; it was their choices that drove Chara mad and unleashed her dark side.

I've always believed that in the genocide route, it was Frisk (the player) that corrupted Chara, not the other way around. In life, Chara was a bratty and rather macabre kid, but not actually evil; in the pacifist route, there is no sign of her murderous intentions. In the genocide route, it was player/Frisk that made the active, conscious decision to dust everyone; it was their choices that drove Chara mad and unleashed her dark side.
