What I liked about Naofumi and Raphtalia is that they both helped each other in their most desprite moment Naofumi hated the world, While Raphtalia gave up on hope. They found and saved each other. This AMV really shows it in my opinion great job man.

The song coupled with the scene choices, the timing of it all, the emotion conveyed in both the video and audio at the same time... I've watched Rise of the Shield hero already but this... this has made me go back and watch it again. You did an absolutely amazing job with this, you've done both the song artist AND the anime a huge service. Keep up the amazing work.

I never made the connection before that they were essentially just saying help me break through my fear, which is exactly what Naofumi did for Raphtalia, so the song is even more fitting than I originally thought. Seeing how naofumi finds someone that is just like him to some extent. Going through so much pain and being able to do nothing about it... then deciding to forge their own destiny on their own. One of the best beginning stories to a duo I've seen
Naofumi did shatter Raphtalia, and out of her pain, and despair brought on by hopelessness he rebuilt her to be a strong fighter, a confident self-assured woman, and loyal companion and friend.
I love this. I have yet to watch the series but from this can see how much pain and horrible life she went through and still is with him helping her guide through her hardships

Naofumi is one of the coolest anime MCs in the last decade, and Raphtalia is a contender for Anime's new "IT" girl. I would say her closest competition is Hestia from Familia Myth.
I have seen this video many times, and every time I go back to read the manga. It is as if this song was made specifically for this manga/anime. Damn fine job on this AMV.

Ralphtalia and Naofumi’s relationship for a few volumes in the light novels was one of psychological help they were the rock each of them need to stand on and while Ralphtalia moved past that by killing the abusive master she had (which she actively did kill him it wasn’t an accident she wanted him dead and Naofumi didn’t care.) Naofumi still need her as we are shown during volume 8 just why Ralphtalia is so important to Naofumi as without her there to cool his rage he release it and it is satisfying to read him do so.
