Is the absolute accuracy bad when setting up the DRTK-2 on an unkown point? Say, I wait 20 minutes with it on to try to improve the RTK position, does it help? Thanks
6:02 come again..? But you said in 5:53 that it's possible? Is my understanding correct that prior to conducting a mapping mission, you first identify several GCPs to be used later for counterchecking the drone mapping's output, with the base station as the main GCP / reference point of the drone? Also, what's the maximum allowable distance between the M3E and D-RTK2? If we are beyond the max allowable distance, can we move the D-RTK2 while the M3D hovers around its location?
@DJIEnterprise that was a dumb move on dji's. Not thinking or caring about the professionals that already had a workflow in place and that UI for creating the oblique mission is absolute shit.
@DJIEnterprise I wish I could revert back to previous firmware for the pilot 2 app. I don't know why you guys did that and then had no release note or where to find what or how to use it. It cost me a mapping job this morning. Was on the phone with "customer support " at 9pm last night and they knew absolutely nothing about it! Very sad and poor execution of that firmware update. God forbid users get use to using software a certain way. Save all that B.S. for the mini 3 "PRO" users not the professionals that drink the dji coolaid and spend thousands of dollars on hardware and another $1500 to use terra for a year oh and the $709 for a RTK Module. Any way I'm sure dji paid you for showing up at work today unlike me.
@@lifeonandaroundthewater9830DJI is notorious for this. I’m in the agricultural drone industry. I keep my mavic 3m on local only mode because firmware updates are to be avoided at all costs especially with a large applicator drone. A recent firmware update came out for the t40 and I’m seeing post after post of them falling out of the sky and flying around uncontrollable before nose diving into the ground. As usual from DJI… crickets… Between their software rollout fiascos (using their customers as beta testers) and their push for everything being on the “cloud” (aka a chinese data mines), I’m done with purchasing anymore DJI products.
Cant we use D-RTK 2 as a handheld with Phantom 4RTK controller to capture the GCPs coordinates?

5:13 shutter speed less, than 1/2000 from in DJI cameras have electronic shutter.
Use the shutter time calculator!
Hey Kyle why did my oblique mission set up button disappear. Rendering my mavic 3 enterprise useless for 3d mapping
It has been built into the 2D mapping UI.
