I use painter's tape to label my herbs. It is not pretty, but removes easily when I want to wash them.

A tip on jars is post online on local pages for used glass - spaghetti, pickle jars, carlo rossi, jams, anything. I was blown away by how many people stash glass because they hate throwing it away, but have no use for it. People were happy to give me their garbage. Also easily collected stuff to care for stray cats. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there! People always got too much crap laying around and i have found they're happy to support a good cause.

We use china (etc) fairly frequently. As often as I can, we have a finely set table and a family dinner--a Fancy Friday or a Super Sunday. We light candles, bless our kids, and thank God for our blessings. The kids ask for it if we have gotten too busy and have not taken the time to set a fine table and have a good, leisurely dinner as a family.

Thank you for the advice! I started my journey about 4 years ago, and still don't know much!😂 I took over my sewing/craft room for all my herbal preparations and other ingredients. It has a North window, but the cupboards have solid doors. I use my kitchen for all of the things I do. Yes! I save those kombucha bottles, too. I have gobs of them!! I think it's Brew Dr. brand. I use a couple of dehydrators, but I also have a couple of collapsible drying racks as well. For some herbs, I like to use the brown paper bag with holes punched in it. It just depends what I feel works best. I always learn something old 😉 when I listen to your videos!

I took over some cabinets in my hallway. 😆 works great. Top portion for dried and lose leaf herbs, bottom portion I have my tinctures brewing along with supplies. You definitely don't need a lot of space to begin. The most important piece is just to start and have fun. Take your time, learn about the herbs and contraindications. ❤.

❤I have jarred herbs, tinctures and infusions on every shelf in my home so my husband bought me a label maker to look nicer displayed. I grow and create tea blends, bag them, jar them and make notes in my herbal journal to help create again. I’ve recently laminated notes and started putting books by herbs for anyone visiting my home to learn in one place. Organization is key!😊

My wife and I are converting a school bus to travel in, wherein I fully intend to forage across the country and gather our plant allies from wild growth (sustainably, of course), and a freeze dryer seems the most natural addition to that process. 💜

GURL God just blessed the heck out of me for my future! I'm in a shelter and the staff at the hygiene center I chatted to about honey and making salves and he told me one of the other staff HAS AN APIARY! Small, private, organic. She talked to me and I told her when I get housing I plan to take a course and mentioned y'all as where I've been learning Herbalism. I want to make body care products and medicinal salves and such to sell and it looks like she may agree to be a future supplier. So cool! And she's going to bring some honey to taste. It's not wildflower, just blackberry but still will be good. I can start there and find a local supplier for wildflower honey later. I also brought up wanting to learn to make mead when I am stable and she said they do that too. Going to see if I can volunteer or work there at some point in the Spring with the bees to learn hands on too. Someday I will have my own honey farm!

New to your channel and already love your energy and wisdom! I am a newbie at spinning my herbalist ways, I live in Hawaii and have been blessed to be the caretaker of 3 acres of land on the slopes of the Big Island. Native wild Mamaki has started growing so beautifully and I have started harvesting it, drying it in a repurposed screen fish dry box, and blending it and sharing the tea. Mamaki is a native Hawaiian plant used in La'au Lapa'au, ancient Hawaiian plant medicine, it is magical and so beneficial, I would love to share some with you if you don't already have some! I am enjoying all of your videos and teachings, we are in the process of building our house and will be living on our land within a year and a huge part of my vision is to create an herb garden, medicinal Hawaiian plants and so many others, and to make tinctures and oils and all the things, bee's too, there's so much to learn! I am an energy healing facilitator too and I see myself pairing tea blends or tinctures with the energy work I do for people, it all goes hand in hand and I'm so excited for this next and new part of my souls path to unfold, so thank you for sharing your wisdom your passion your light and your heart! 💚

Everything literally BAKES here in OK. We've tried. I'm done. I'd rather purchase a stock of herbs and get started instead of waiting each year and failing at growing my own. Maybe some day--but not now. Now, I just want to get started making tinctures and oils and teas and salves, and actually stocking an Apothecary, so I need to buy some! 🌿
