Marj Dusay just rocks this scene. So glad she and Fletcher got together and Holly and Ed too. Although I did like Holly and Fletch together back in the day. So nice to see happy endings in a soap! I still miss GL. Jonathan breaks my heart - Reva, too. *sigh* I want this show back!
Kim loved working with Jeff Branson as did Gina Tognoni. Don't you notice that after Roger & Alan "died", people were more calmer not waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I started watching this show 2 1/2 years ago. I am going to miss it greatly. It is the only reason I watch any soaps at all. After tomarrow. I am off them. Time to start living more of my own life I guess.
As much as I ADORED Tammy and Jonathan, Reva and Jonathan (Kim and Tom) had the best chemistry. I enjoyed watching them together just as much. I'm really disappointed that Guiding Light has been cancelled.
MARJ DUSAY as ALEXANDRA was always my favorite ❤. As usual she excells! 🏆. 👑 . ALEXANDRA and ALAN were my favorite loving disfunctional siblings. Heart 💜 💖
Though I disliked Ed's affair with Lillian during his marriage to Maureen, I was happy that Ed and Holly reunited. Ed brought Holly more happiness than Roger ever did (though I enjoyed Michael Zaslow's performances). It was also good to see Alexandra and Fletcher reunite as well. I wish Mike, Hope, and Alan-Michael had returned, if only to visit Ed, Rick, and Michelle.
I would give anything to know the song that starts when Holly is talking to Ed. I have searched for years using what i think the lyrics are and what i hear haha. For some reason the song really speaks to me and i need to know what it is. Lol
He wanted to do more with his life. Also he would have been semi retired by now. Also with Roger being dead, they could move on in a better direction. He was such the third wheel back in the day it drove Ed crazy.
This scene with "Alex" and Fletcher does nothing but make me miss Christopher Bernau and Beverlee McKinsey. For those of you who saw them play the roles of Alan and Alex you know what I mean. Marj Dusay had impossible shoes to fill and I could never accept her as Alex. Nothing against her, Beverlee was just that damn good. I stopped watching in the early-mid '90s but cried when I saw these scenes of Alan dying and Alex finding out--reminds me of Chris and Bev, and GL of the '80s.
it has been sad all week but i love it when fletcher walk in. my heart stop.

Me too!!! So bad
o Alex my heart..when she saw Fletcher!!!
She aged horribly
I guess after all of these years, it's amazing to know that they were able to put aside their differences.
I just love Jonathan and Reeva as mother and son, they have the coolest relationship and it seems so real, and they were so much alike

Tammy and Jonathan were supposed to have a happy ending. ..that last line broke my heart. :(

Best scene - Holly and Ed. Not even five minutes and they kill it.

We can't have it all.
