definitely deserves a place in most players inventory for most of the game. you could potentially swap it out for the ion rifle or laser rapier, or use the energy for powering your damage buff or shield, but energy is so easy to come by for most of the game that id say inventory space is the major limiting factor

System Shock 2 gets all the attention but I think SS is more special. An Aliens/Alien scenario if you will.
