Does this work if you don’t have the apple car play already installed in the system?
2017 and later model year Kia Sportage vehicles are compatible with Apple CarPlay.
@@WheelsJoint my Kia sportage isn’t popping up for apple car play. Do i need to update the system?
@@kiarajohnson1676 If your Sportage does not support Apple CarPlay, updating the system will not help. You'll have to install an aftermarket infotainment system. Which model year Sportage do you have?
@@WheelsJoint a 2017. When i connect to play music it pops up as a “iPod” instead of a iPhone.
Have you tried connecting an Android phone? See if Android Auto works.
