Talking of 55"/60" TVs as if they are a) not big, and b) normal makes me feel really old. I remember as a child playing on my 14" CRT in my bedroom getting really excited when able to play on the big TV downstairs. And when I got my own 21" TV when I got into my teenage years it was a revelation to me.

I only ever saw 1 60" before 2010. An old-style projection TV in the mid 80s. It was Massive, even if brightness & quality weren't great.

I've been with 75" and want to go 87" or more next time. I'm old too... I had a 13" TV back in the day. 55" is small these days.

For Yooka-Replaylee, I'm heavily looking forward to it! There's a ton of game design elements that the first game missed the mark on, and this gives them an opportunity to retackle that and match the original vision of both fans and devs of Yooka-Laylee! Additionally, Playtonic Games is working on multiple games right now and the 10th anniversary of the company is coming up, so I think this is the perfect time for them to tackle this!
10 years and we really only got two games out of them.

Given the vast majority of IP's that Nintendo has, I'm surprised they haven't collaborated with WB on a Lego Nintendo Action/Adventure style game.
They probably turned their nose up to Lego Dimensions until they saw Sonic, then they did their Lego set collaboration shortly after.

Journalists are milking the same news again and again. In the articles everything that was said had things like, "POSSIBILITY, CONSIDERED, NOT SET IN STONE" in every sentence.
This is already been debunked by someone at Xbox and Major Nelson. Ton Warren has become a grifter at this point.

According to the list, it has been 100% accurate with each reveal.

These RUclipsrs are just milking the audience for engagement.

@@Glitchy1988Not even a graphic junkie, but 1080p60 is not a good spot. Even for games with less resolution-reliant art styles like BotW and Pokémon. 1440p60 is perfect imo. Or even 1440p40 with software-based rtx. But then again, I'm not a framerare junkie either. I just want something that looks good enough and doesn't run horribly. And 1440p40 with amazing lighting is my personal preference.

I'm sure hoping DB Sparking has local co-op, I still have friends that come over to play games and was looking forward to playing this game with them.

The first video game I ever owned, which I bought with my hard earned summer money when I was 10 years old, was Mega Man IV for the OG Game Boy. It was the start of a lifelong love story... :)

Honestly, if and when we go all digital, my backlog of physical games will be sufficient for the rest of my life. 😂
That's my plan too. I'm planning on transferring my PS3 hard drives to a fresh drive soon so my games and updates will last at least another 12 years. (I managed to install 90% of my games with all their updates.)
Halo possibly being remastered yet again and being released for PS5 tells you how poorly Microsoft software is selling. I just wish these corporations would realize how much more important the people who create these games are than the brand. They didn't want to pay the folks in Bungie so they let them go and thought by just keeping the IP and swapping the people out for cheaper talent it would work out. And how's that working out for you Microsoft? And this is just one example. EA drove the original Bioware team out: that studio is a mess. Activision drove the original Blizzard team out: that company is a mess which now Microsoft themselves own. When will it end?

The worst thing about the push for 8K is that performance will suffer. 8K 60 won't be a thing for another decade, if 8K does become a norm.
Mega man for Gameboy are all really good. The 4th and 5th are extremely expensive too so it's awesome to see
Co-op multiplayer PvE games need to be the new trend for online games. E-sports long killed the PvP subgenre.

I'm thrilled with the latest NSO drops but where is the Genesis updates? It's been months and honestly it's my personal favorite.
That’s down to Sega with those Mega Drive (Genesis) updates but we have plenty of games from Sega and I got their compilations from Sonic to Streets of Rage so I’m good as far as Mega Drive stuff goes and most of what i want is on NSO from the Sega side of things.
I wish they would somehow how in someway let us play "The Ooze" .....bring it back for more people to experience.
In the final section about Halo where Jon talks about Gears of War and Epic Games considering a PlayStation version, I thought that version was simply to test Unreal out on PS3

As a diehard Megaman fan, the Gameboy Megaman games were phenomenal for a kid who would go camping for weeks in the summer. Being able to take Megaman with me was nothing short of memorable. I still own 1-3, skipped 4, and very much regret not getting 5.

I had a cool teacher that would let us play games after school and sometimes during recess, so the original 'Marathon' series for me was exclusive to the school year. But I had the 'DOOM' games for MS-DOS at home so I was set!
I actually carried a floppy disk case with my various game diskettes in my backpack just in case I had access to a computer.

Bungie has already stated that there was never a Halo game for the DS. it was nothing more than a prototype from an outside company that pitched it to Microsoft, and Microsoft said no.

With Dragon Age The Veilguard, I need for them to NOT make the same biggest gaming taboo that you can do in an loot based RPG. Please make sure we right out the gate have adequate storage. I remember playing the early days of DAI and not having the storage chest that they eventually added in, sucked so bad.

Looking back in hindsight at the Lego Horizons leak, I wonder what Sony will be thinking when the best selling version won't be the PS5 or the PC, but the Switch instead, due it being a Lego game.
Borderlands 3 has decent gameplay, but the story leaves a LOT to be desired. Borderlands 4 will have the same issue.
For halo I think if they’re remastering it again I think they’re going to bring the controls up to the current conditions because when I got the Massachusetts collection and played halo officially for the first time, it was shocking how drastically different the controls were shooting, aiming all that was different from call of duty Battlefield, etc.

I actually played the original Halo when it was released - and yes I still hate shooters but but it came with my original console. It was OK but I didn't play much of it til I switched to one of the other games that I got with my Xbox - Munch's Oddysee which I loved. I remember having to buy a bundle to get the Xbox at Launch with Halo, Munch's Oddysee, Project Gotham, DOA 3 and a NASCAR game I never even opened...the first separate game I bought was a few months later - Jet Set Radio Future which was an awesome game that both my husband and I played the heck out of.
The fact that releasing roms is counts as an exciting update
Mega Man Legends would be better served as a remake or at least a remaster
MegamanX should be revived as a Roguelite where you have a choice which bosses to go after in a single run to get their skills. I know there is an indie that is trying to do that but it would hit different if it were a AA or AAA game.

I would be weary of a Halo remaster. Microsoft is probably remastering the older games for a "Modern Audience"...... and we all know what that means. We will just have to wait and see what happens with this I guess.

Seeing the Mega Man game boy games dropped in NSO is sort of a big thing because the games were never packaged in a collection before, as far as I know.
Mega Man will always be a beloved franchise no matter what game you play and which platform you play them. Except for X7. I tried to like it, I really did.
