In the 90s, it was crazy, hoy many series they were lauching at the same time: Alpha, EX and III (+ SF vs). Every franchise started with a beta-like game and always ended strong with the third entry.
People went crazy just to know there was another streetfighter and then came CE, HF, and super. HF and super came about after the arcade hacked cabinets which a lot of us liked. CE Was just to play as last bosses or same character, super only added 4 more but even then the most milked series and people still were addicted aswell as sitting on fence at first before saying "nah that ain't it!" Oh sf2 sound track epic and "it's arrived" sf 3rd strike that had great tracks too. Sf3 ex..I don't know why I started thinking of Starcraft😅

3rd Strike's hip hop approach and SSF4's opening guitar will always bring the hype no matter what. I think what also further brought out these themes is how they're accompanied by illustrations that showed off what type of fighter you hovered over, each with unique expressions and poses that you can't really get the same feel with moving 3D renders, which sometimes look a bit jarring and zany. Like, you can't tell me that Urien's 'looking down at you' and Juri's sharp eyed glance aren't cool.
Original Super Street Fighter 2 character select, best ever. Takes me back to Japan and makes me want to travel there again and be apart of the culture.
SFxTK in my opinion is the best, the narrator saying the names of the characters, their animations appearing on the screen, it's really cool. But I don't consider SFxTK exactly a Street fighter, so I think Street fighter 2's select screen is the best yet.
Sf6 has the most personality and the best overall atmosphere, usf4 and sfv have the best rosters. Mark my words comrades when sf6’s roster will be complete, it will be the greatest one ever I have no doubt. For me they were able to make characters I never thought I would play into amazing characters purely based on their well developed personality and fighting style.
All of Sf4's character select screens look so crushingly good on the big screen with the beautiful 2d artworks and super sharp visuals. Neither sf5 nor 6 come near.
I liked the video. I mean your effort and collect them together, edit etc. As for games themselves, they have gone terrible after the main select theme is changed. Especially the 6, which has not been romenumeralised.
You've missed SFA3 Max and for SF5 you didn't use the final character select screen with Luke in it. Also, next time make a short video with just the character select screen, you don't have to go through to all characters profile pic.

There's much to take away from this. There's proof here that video games has changed for the better, maybe not in every way but definitely for the better.
SuperSF2 had the best art work imo..more mature realistic looks..But seriously need more characters and stages in SF6..There's at least about 15 must have characters missing..more than 3 month's and its like SF2 value..
