I love Noshir's RP style. The way he plays The Emissary and how he played Dr. Rajan Savarimuthu in Candela, you can just feel the weight the character carries. I feel like when Laura was in her Divine Form, she was channeling the performance of The Matron from TLoVM.
Genuinely one of my favourite CR episodes ever. Brennan got to debut another Just A Little Guy, Laura got to traumatise us with Vax analogies and the reat of the whole episode was an excuse to air out family drama.
My favorite moment in the episode was the talk between Father Milo and Ayden outside the hospital room. I really appreciate the consistency between Milos argument here, and the one given in Avalir. I also like how Ayden was about to hear Milo out, and conclude with a recognition that they had both betrayed each other in the end. Other than that, I predict Cognoza teleports out!
My favourite part was that speakeasy, really beautiful world building and athmosphere. A close second is Asha and the tree. Always reminds me of my favourite Caduceus Clay. And what I wonder is, if we already met the woman who is frozen in that bubble with her arms raised, one of the allied archmages perhaps? or is it Trist? and AND and I really wonder. if perhaps. S.I.L.A.H.A. is somehow involved with D in the 'now' times. we all assume that D stands for Devaxian, but maybe that is not right? And by now we moved on from "WHO is Umleta?" to "WHERE is Umleta?", but no one ever asks "HOW is Umleta?"
Honestly I was howling at the raven queen doing an epic arcane gate and then Silaha going "ooooh not quite" and having to dimension door them down a little further
This was one of my all-time favorite CR episodes. I'm loving Downfall and the perspective it gives so much! I'm so happy Taliesin is playing the Wildmother, his take on her is fascinating. I'm so glad we've gotten to see little glimpses of her relationship with Erathis.
I think part of why Nick Morini made Ayden precociously young was because the Dawnfather sent the version of himself that would be most compatible with working with the Betrayers, i.e. his essence from before the Schism. This would also track with the theory that Ayden is destroyed with Aeor and the Calamity, permanently altering the essence of the Dawnfather into the stern figure we see presented in modern Exandria as another wound inflicted upon a god during the war.
Oooh I didn't realize that Silaha absorbed the information from the scribe! I think given what he talked about this past episode, he may end up sharing that information back with mortals if what the other gods do is "too" messed up.

Kill the weapon, kill the city and all the people in it. This will give some, like the Everlight, pause. The Betrayers won't care, clearly. Far from the first flying city the Lord of the Hells has brought down. In the end, it happens of course. I am also now INCREDIBLY worried that Ludinus will attempt to find/has found some remenants of SILAHA, that has the plans for the Factorum Mallius. Or that he will target the Arch Heart to get it. Maybe we shall discover that he gives the plans to the Knowing Mistress, so she'll be targeted. Maybe she has SILAHA's pieces in her infinite library domain. Basically, I'm worried Ludinus will get his hands on the weapon plans. As for why he is showing this to Bell's Hells, I suspect that it is because he hopes to proves the gods are terrible for crashing a city full of innocent people who had nothing to do with the weapon. Some of BH may agree, but we already know they've agreed that Ludinus is NOT the one to replace them. Or the Weave Mind. Wait, is that what the Weave Mind wants to do!? 😨 (Edit for spelling and grammar)
After everything we’ve seen, I’m more of the belief now that the best probable outcome after all of this is for the gods to be sent back to Tengar. They’ve done a lot of good and a WHOLE lot of bad, so I think that’s the main solution that fits their actions thus far
I still dont understand the casida subtext. Us she trying to sabatoge the factorum mallas? She wants to stand with the gods butas equals? how is that different then whay the rest of the aeor wants?
The rest of the Aeor mageocracy wants to kill *all* the gods. Cassida is part of a society that still believes that the prime deities are good and want to work with them to destroy just the betrayers.
Political factions in Aeor want to destroy all of the Gods. Cassida and her group is trying to undermine that in order to use the weapon against the betrayer gods to help the Prime Deities win the "war" But the prime deities have already called a truce so they can all survive and stand together against the mortals

Could you please create (or point to me to where you already did) a cheat list of who's who? I'm something of a Tolkien expert (according to my friends) and now I know what it's like for people trying to read the Silmarillion for the first time. Not only so many names (and I need the list connected to the real humans), but there's a history between these people that isn't easily known (at least not by me). I'm trying to just enjoy the interplay between everyone [and yes, like you said, they need to have character cards for the Betrayer god individuals], but am aware that there's a deep backstory with these people. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably have quit watching in the first 15 minutes because I was so lost.

@@ccreasman It's a combination of lore found in Taldorei Reborn, Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, and stuff that has been said in game. But yeah the books are great sources for the overall lore

Its been confirmed that dying in mortal form wont kill them but it will stop them from getting back to aeor
