Good stuff. I just realized something about Delos vids that I think is brilliant. No stupid TY ads in the middle of the episode. Other channels have ads every 5 mins and it takes you out of the story and annoys you. One of your best! I have an Amel Maramu 48, which I have lived in for 10 years. Whilst not as long as you, I did one passage from Falmouth Antigua to Falmouth UK without stopping and one crew. In one 5 day period the wind never went below 32 kts with it topping out at about 45. We were north of you. Fiaial (Azores)l was abeam at about 1,000 miles. Bermuda was 650 miles WSW. We were so for North that we were in the Ice Berg region from the Labradore current (May). It was b....y cold. The waves were huge. When we were in the troughs we could see nothing but the bastions of water about to fall on us. At the top we could see for miles. I know where you have been. Thank God you are safe, and thank God I was in an Amel also. I have been watching your channel and often wondering if you had left it too late to go North? I am glad you are safe and keep on making your videos. Tim Hammick, Marandina, Ocean Cruising Club
I was also wondering about the timing of the northerly run. I think the Patreon subscribers keep updated with current goings-on and apparently all is well. The weather in this vid though is something to be avoided, mostly because of the inconsistency. Tearing a sail like that could be really bad if you weren't prepared.
Yeah, this video is from early summer or late spring i think. They are like 4 or 5 months behind. They are in Maine right now about to head south again I think.

Amazing! This episode was so beautifully done and authentic. Way to step up your editing game and good on you all for this epic sail with baby nugget. All the love.
I have a Navy Seal Son in Virginia. It was nice to see you so welcomed there. This was one trip I was not as envious as I usually am. That boat, though! What an amazing vessel. As are her Captain and Crew.
For what my opinion is worth, this time period now, with the three of you, is the best of Delos. I've been watching since the very first episode when you were looking for a boat to go cruising. Your family is adorable.
My father had sailboats, and tried to get me used to the ocean in weather like that. That brought back memories, but I never could get used to it, then I found out that I have vertigo so now I see why I never would, but I did like sailing. In what we often think of as a crazy world, these episodes keep reminding us that the world is full of wonderful, caring and giving people. I want to cruise for the rest of my life for the reward of meeting many of these wonderful people that fill our wonderful world!
This is the Atlantic. Most of my memories of sailing The Mother are filled with squalls, wind out of the place we want, beating, and bouncing about. Actually, I wish I WAS there.
OMG, S/v DELOS. Other than some of the weather, this was a fun one !!! Totally love how Nuggette just is full of smiles underway !!! Second Mate extraordinaire !!

Arrrrh, the 'joys' of upwind in 30+kts !!!! Great episode of the real world and with all the craziness of current times it was truly heartening to see a warm welcome from the storm !!!
Brian, I admire your captain skills in keeping calm and positive (without denying it is bad) and boosting moral! Great job you all, managing storm and baby!
Amazing episode. I really loved the music in this one, the guitars and piano - going to have to Shazam it. Great teamwork. Love seeing little Nugget smiling! Going through the rough patches always makes the destination feel much better when you get there. Always surprised by the kindness of people (including yourselves).
Brian and Kazaa, this is among your best episodes IMO. Here’s why. You have always promised to show the bad with the good. I have been on hard passages. I revel in the challenge of handling the boat, reacting positively to equipment issues, and the always difficult mental struggle of the physical stress from being in active seas. You have shown those elements of sailing honestly and with tremendous grace. Thank you. Most important, was the brilliant landfall and instant recovery. Successfully making a hard passage is its own reward. But the gift of the caring community of sailors restores the soul and makes me proud to have opportunities to live in that world. Well done!
How cool was that? 😀😀😀😀 the rocket stuff. The kindness of people in the Delos tribe is quite a special group. Been watching since 2013 and I still enjoy everything I see. Thank you for a small escape.
It makes me feel so emotional to watch your videos. I grew up with sailing parents. My mother was the first female sailing instructor in SA when I was in my teens. In the early 90’s she did a crossing from Cape Town to S AMERICA. Up to USA and back over to Holland where she settled back on terra firma. She stopped sailing after the last crossing. I think the conditions where the last cherry on the top and watching your difficulties in this video makes me realise what a brave and adventurous spirit she had. She died in March 2019 aged 73. Glad you arrived safely in the USA. Wishing you safe passage as you continue on your journey 💗💗💗. Over and out x
The folk who welcomed you restore one’s faith in the kindness of people. I was watching this while lying in bed and I swear I felt seasick and scared. ⛵️🙏❤️
You guys are amazing. And the beauty is that you not only show the good times but even the bad times when you are super upset and all. Stay safe and happy y'all. :)
I really respect how Delos shows what it's actually like to live aboard a boat, and in this case what it can be like to have to move to avoid the tropical storms and hurricanes. I find this channel fascinating because it's REAL, not like those, "oh look at my perfect life" while not showing everything else ones. I have no time for the fake channels. I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD for Delos lol.
Nugget is alive and well...I love her smile/giggle.....Mom/dad, when the weather is rough, hang me off the spreader and I'll keep the boat stable. At least I can have some fun.....lol...I am expecting in the next video she'll be hanging off a spreader giggling (I hope) ....see dad, I told you......sure you'll be at anchor...
Brian, this is one of your best videos. Thank you for sharing the sounds of the wind and the ocean. Welcome back to the U.S.A. One God's greatest blessings is becoming a daddy. Sierra is wonderful. You are a wonderful daddy. Kazza you are wonderful too. : )
The look on Kazaa's face at about 19:10 is so tired and worn out. I really felt for her. The only good thing about a passage like that is that it eventually comes to an end!
If this video doesn't show people to weather the storm and just keep going...I don't know what does. And in contrast to your recent videos....so is life..beautiful...and then tough. Thanks for sharing guys...so glad you're all safe!
Cold and wet is the worse especially in any emergency. That is why it's good to visit up North in the summer and to go for comfort vs speed at times (like when cooking) and never carry too much sail. Most problems happen because people are in a hurry and thus those are "avoidable" problems / emergencies. We love ya and want all of you to arrive safe and alive.
Also glad you are safe, though I didn't feel that you were in real danger, except when you had to stow and put out the sail. Nugget is Great as usual, you are truly blessed with a happy child. Take Care
Good morning. OMG you guys are just the best.I envy you so much Brian. I can't imagine having a better family than yours. I was in the navy for four years. So I know the strength of the ocean. We'll I'll let you go. Please don't change. God has blessed you all with everything. God bless
I love you guys, I have been away for a while because being a teacher right now is sapping all my energy. However, watching Delos always makes me happy. I pop your channel up on my projector once in a while and show my students, what ya'll are up to. #mydream

I'm just so impressed on how much friends and strangers help out. Especially Chinese food...
I forgot how much I love the sound of wind, sails and rigging. And I’m was lake sailor.
Glad you had an extra pair of experienced pair of hands to help change that jib! That was HUGE!! Welcome to the USA!! Happy you made safe passage. That was intense!! Y'all are an amazing group and I stand in awe of your strength, calm and perseverance in the face of challenges!!
Cheers!
agreed.....
The impact you guys have on the sailing community is amazing The amount of people that I have met that get Inspired to change their life course due to your impact Is priceless can't wait to share an ancorage Godspeed
Damn, that was some gnarly weather, we actually turned around because of the same system and weathered it in Charleston, SC. on our way to the Chesapeake . After seeing your footage, glad we did!
Much Love and hope to see you guys in the tropics this winter
Acadian Adventures
Arrrrh, the 'joys' of upwind in 30+kts !!!! Great episode of the real world and with all the craziness of current times it was truly heartening to see a warm welcome from the storm !!!
Here comes the Rain Sierra, what a happy child you have.
Turn around, go back and do it again!!! Best Delos vid ever. Enjoyed every minute of it. Glad the kid made it thru unscathed.
That's why that part of the Atlantic is known as the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" Thousands of shipwrecks, untold number of lost souls.
Well done!
Thank you Mark, wishing you the best brotha!
Dear Grace, may I suggest that you have a dermatology consult on the darker mole 1 in below L lower eyelid. JH Adams MD
How cool was that? 😀😀😀😀 the rocket stuff. The kindness of people in the Delos tribe is quite a special group. Been watching since 2013 and I still enjoy everything I see. Thank you for a small escape.
Friyay Delos! Much love to you guys "Bri-yon" Kazza and the lil Nugget!
Thanks for sharing, it is so great to see the community helping in all areas of your trip. Just proves there is still good people in this world.
Dudes great job editing this one. Loved it Kiril
Kaza: I'm so f#%king tired"
O man said the same thing soo many times..have kids they said!!! Lol. Sweet video!
The folk who welcomed you restore one’s faith in the kindness of people. I was watching this while lying in bed and I swear I felt seasick and scared. ⛵️🙏❤️
Delos is such an impressive sea going sailboat and you guys are awesome. Great video. Hope you are staying warm up there in the colder climate.
You guys are amazing. And the beauty is that you not only show the good times but even the bad times when you are super upset and all. Stay safe and happy y'all. :)
The way that reminded me of our crazy sail to La Reunion in those unforgiving roaring 40s🤘🏼 Yoh!
Nice job on the editing Kiril. You are the best.
Amazing vid as always, guys! Big love from Cape Town!
Rough but well managed passage. Great seafaring determined crew. Full respect sent. Welcome back to the USA, 👏🏆👍🇺🇸
Bravo for the crew, for the captain and expacialy for little nugget.❤️👏👏🏆👌
Welcome home. 🎉
Wish you all the best in days to come.
Awesome music in this vid, felt like I was there
Also glad you are safe, though I didn't feel that you were in real danger, except when you had to stow and put out the sail. Nugget is Great as usual, you are truly blessed with a happy child. Take Care
Love the Chinese food victory dinner after that monster cruise.
made me order in :)
Good morning. OMG you guys are just the best.I envy you so much Brian. I can't imagine having a better family than yours. I was in the navy for four years. So I know the strength of the ocean. We'll I'll let you go. Please don't change. God has blessed you all with everything. God bless
You know it's gnarly when Kazza's dropping f-bombs
I love you guys, I have been away for a while because being a teacher right now is sapping all my energy. However, watching Delos always makes me happy. I pop your channel up on my projector once in a while and show my students, what ya'll are up to. #mydream
