We NE Ohio have some really nice long old railroad asphalt paved bicycle/skate paths (Maple Highlands and The Green trail) Cleveland has Rockefeller Park amongst other great sk8 places--super cool Euclid (roller rink) skate dance, Youngstown Skate WOW great huge rink and adult skate night--anyway, I love what you do and happy to host a Cleveland visit!!
Thank you. Choosing new cities to tour is always a challenge and I have to be somewhere and skate there to know if it'll work for my trips. But sounds like you have some great skate options. Huge rinks I like the sound of!
I've wanted to go to Vancouver forever. My uncle and aunt live there but still haven't managed it. I'm trying to make happen a Canada mini tour but so far its just in ideas phase....
@@SkatefreshVideos The lid of my mind would be blown, if u would come and skate with us Vancouver skaters. We also have two awesome outdoor ice rinks during winter.
You are part of original crew!!!! Meeting you guys was the first time I realised I could do a trip with local help and that this was better! Thank you for that important move I had to make to keep doing trips. I'm excited for the next 2 years of trips. Gonna be super fun x
Ugh I would love to have a group to skate with. I’m in a smaller city and have tried and failed over the years to get something going. Rollerblading will make a comeback though, I know it!! #skateinto2020 (PS if you ever come back to the US, consider Chicago. It’s the closest big-city to me and I’d love to meet & skate with you someday!!)
I'll keep that in mind. I'm fairly new to skating and touring in the USA and so far have only been to San Francisco and New York City where there are established scenes that I can plug into. keep at it though. You will inspire others if you are out and about skating....
SkatefreshAsha Chicago is a big, well know US city and I think they have a skating group there!! I’m 2 hours away so I’m sad I haven’t been able to check it out. But I’m going back to college this semester so I’m gonna see if maybe this year I can FINALLY gather some people haha.
Love it too :-D - Highlights: Freiburg Germany, Barcelona, Palma, Cadiz, Caleta de Velez, Barbate, Chipiona - Spain, Kopenhagen (skatenight), Malmö Sweden, Oslo (Norway). So once your around in Europe would be nice to see you there^^
Hi Asha! I love your videos! Well, now that you’ve seen our NYC, what kind of free/urban skates would be best for average NYC city streets (roads full of imperfections) and Central Park? For a beginner- I had learnt how to rollerblade as a teenager, so the muscle memory will kick in soon hopefully but it would be safe to count myself as a beginner anyways. Thank you!
Hi. This is Sergio from Team Skatefresh. All inline skates, except some very specialized ones, are suitable for streets. Look for fitness or freestyle/urban models. Asha doesn't recommend a particular model because comfort depends on your foot shape and shape varies from one brand to the other. Just make sure it feels comfy, has a good ankle support and a heel brake. Find a spot without imperfections in Central Park at that would be fine to start.

I will always return to Lima as my brother and his family live in Cusco. But I was there in 2019 so I can't return this year. Hopefully next year.
