Yeah, but that wasn’t that impressive because Peyton couldn’t throw the deep ball and they were disciplined and stacked the box and von Miller went crazy…
Tampa Bay has the best all round interior lineman of all time, Sapp.he’s Aaron Donald with 40 more pounds and the best run stuffer in the game.
They had an all pro and perennial pro bowl, defensive end, Simeon rice, who is the equivalent to Miles Garrett or Nick Bosa.
They had the smartest, and one of the most punishing safeties in John Lynch who is Luke Keckley where he knew what plays were going to happen. He’s in the Hall of Fame.
You had Fred Warner’s prototype running a 439 at 235 pounds in Derek Brooks who’s in the Hall of Fame. You had Ron Barber, who is always top three corners in the league…. the guys you don’t mention on that defense or perennial pro bowlers, huge and fast. They had no weak link.
They were the first team to play the Tampa 2 nonstop and we’re so athletic you couldn’t run on them.
That team was in the NFC championship game every year with no name quarterbacks. They didn’t have a young athletic Russell Wilson. They had Sean White

I agree, but if you cant recover from one devaststing loss, are you really that good?? The 87 Niners and 96 Bronocs had two traumatic losses that ruined SB favorite seasons. What did they do? They recovered and won back to back Superbowls. The Detroit had devaststing losses in the 87 ECF and the 88 Finals, what did they do? They came back with a venegance and won back to back.

The 2013 Seahawks defense is usually ranked higher than the 2002 Bucs defense for good reason. The 2013 Seahawks were the first defense since the '85 Bears to lead the league in points allowed, yards allowed, and turnovers. Best secondary of all team and it's not close. Shut down the highest scoring offense of all time 43-8 in the Superbowl. The 2002 Bucs were great too but not that great.

I think the best Super Bowl team is the New England Patriots from Super Bowl LI against Atlanta. Tom Brady threw for 466 yards and the team came back from the largest deficit ever in a Super Bowl. The catch by Edelman was amazing and the game was one of the best ever. I think that team at that time could’ve willed themselves to beat any of the teams these guys mentioned.
