- The cathedral was built in 5 days, with the main Gothic part being built in just one day. The final construction phase took an incredible 700 hours to build.
Between the pre-construction, the planning and the actual building, it takes well over 3,000 hours of work. The Lucastro Cathedral previously held the official Minecraft world record, which has now been broken by this structure.
Over 3,000,000 blocks were installed and over 100 people helped. The structure goes from the minimum to the maximum height.
The volume is over 23,000,000 blocks.

it's nice but most of the walls look pretty flat if im honest, could use some texturing, not much is required just a bit. I know from experience it takes a lot more effort tho, as it requires you to collect a lot more vareity of blocks, and managing inventories at that point is a pain, but it's worth it.

how do you even go about designing something like this
Well something called forbuilding there we are in creative mode and build the thing with worldeddit everything is transferred to a shemetik and that's how we build it...
So not built in survival?
@@digiusbuildius it was a shemetik that we have build in creative ; in the real world we build it per Hand in survival no gameode only the blueprint of it.

@@digiusbuildiusthey build it in a creative world and use a mod called schematics or something like that and it basically tells you what blocks you need to build it in survival and helps you know where to place blocks to replicate the build in another world, lots of Java players use this when it comes to big builds like these

Like, it looks too coordinated, it appears as if it's being printed out... It just doesn't look natural the way it gets erected.
So, sorry for saying this, but something feels off about this, and I do not know what. Like, do you use Litematica? an army of barritone bots or the like?
