    You really cannot play this any more perfectly. It's so peaceful and the melody sings without needing to yell. 1:08 was by far the best phrasing I've heard of this... just lines. Not a single not feels detached. I love it.

      In his performance of Feux Follets he plays a G - E-flat - C chord without rolling. An eleventh.

    Just lovely, best, played with a lot of sensitive, delicate gentle feeling and touch.Very good camera takes.

    I fell in love with this piece when I first heard it played at the very end of the movie “The Turning Point”, from 1977.

    It is said by many concert pianists that if you can play ALL the Chopin etudes correctly you can play any piano piece ever written by anyone.

      Rose FabFour it’s hard but I can tell you practise slowly especially the part with the 4 notes in the right hand and 3 notes in the left hand.. i practiced it 2 months and I’m able to play it exactly the same speed Szymon plays it here :) and I’m not a pro piano player

    어떻게 저렇게 편하게치지. 손가락 위치가 잘 사용안하는 곳을 많이 짚어서 연주할때 불편하던데 실력, 표현력
    역시 피아니스트는 다른 것 같네요.

    This recording shows how difficult it is even for good pianists to keep this etude as written in p - pp register. This young colleague evidently and much to his credit hears the melody and tries to keep the phrasing as written in the text but still has difficulties with the „little shepherd” melody. Very difficult etude

    it's sound good doesn't mean it's suitable to play in the 3rd stage, this piece has a lots repetitive chords and considered easy to play, but he still played it beautifully, of course

    Too much emotion. The piece is about making the keys sound like a river flowing, and the melody lingering above the sound of the water. Valentina still has the best rendition. .
