Out of all the pianists that played this etude, his right hand harmony in the middle part is the most beautiful. It's just so sweet and delicate with the perfect rubato. Wow.. props mann
some people choose to emphasize on the left hand melody while others put a balance two the two (there's no in between so it's on or the other) i like both versions
This sounds like he held back the “wrong note” too much... like he played the “proper notes” forte and intentionally played that one “wrong note” as piano, the chord sounded more confident the second time but the first time he held back it seemed like he was missing the point of the song entirely 😂😅
His performance is best Etude in E minor Op. 25 No. 5 I've ever listened to.
