I feel so damn lucky being born when I was. Such a wealth of amazing and free information, and even though it’s only for me and a couple close friends and family members I’m making music I like and am the happiest I’ve ever been, all things considered. So thank you a lot. I promise once I can I plan on supporting your channel past just liking and subscribing

I am always looking for audio tutorials that aren't made by men, and your channel is a goldmine of information. Thank you so much for doing what you do! I hope you don't mind I added some of your videos to a playlist of audio tutorials by womxn, nonbinary and trans engineers that is used as a resource in the audio program I graduated from.

Thanks for a great tutorial. I would just a little advice. In a basic DAW set up where would you place a channel strip setting such as E Q and compression,,,,pre or post? Once again many thanks.

Thanks George, as a relative newbie this has filled a gap in my knowledge. I think your illustrations would have worked better without the piano accompaniment though. Keep the video's coming though

I came looking for content talking about pre-and post fader in live context. I just did a talent show where I set my backing track channel to post fader going to the monitor mix this allowed me to set a level in front of house and on stage that kind of matched and both would ride with the level set on the main mix based on the content. So I was wondering if there were any other uses for that as most of the stuff I've run across starkly categorizes the uses. The balanced singers sounds interesting I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.
