World Way | Los Angeles, California | Road Assessment | Entire Length

World Way is a major road at Los Angeles Intercontinental Airport (LAX). World Way connects all terminals at LAX. The road assessment at LAX involved assessments for its arrival and departure roads. Please be aware that World Way can become highly congested during peak times, and drivers will encounter road cracks, divots, and repair patches along the way. Additionally, road debris is often present, and some drivers may find the frequency of aggressive drivers intolerable.
Despite these challenges, World Way is currently in fair condition. It is essential to note that LAX is undergoing significant construction projects as of May 2024, which may further impact traffic flow on World Way. Therefore, drivers are strongly advised to exercise extreme vigilance while traveling on World Way to ensure a safe and smooth journey.

Very Good - Road that is has little to no cracks, a few small potholes, minor repaired joint seals, minor alligator cracks, and few to no road humps. A road that is somewhat free of vehicle congestion and exhibits clear road signs and clear road markings. A road that is balanced and allows for a smooth driving experience.
Good - Road that exhibits some minor cracking, a few potholes, a few repaired joint seals, minor alligator cracks, and minor road humps. A road that experiences vehicle congestion and exhibits road signs that are slightly damaged and/or unclear. A road that shows some wear and exhibits unevenness in some areas. Road markings and road signs show slight wear.
Fair - Road that exhibits major cracking, multiple potholes, many repaired joint seals, major alligator cracks, and multiple road humps. A road that experiences severe vehicle congestion for most of the day and exhibits road signs and road markings that are damaged and/or unclear. A road that shows severe wear in many areas and exhibits unevenness in some areas.
Poor - Road that exhibits major cracking, multiple potholes, multiple repaired joint seals, major alligator cracks, major road humps, protruding manholes, and severe unevenness in areas. A road that experiences daily vehicle congestion for the majority of the day and evening. A road that exhibits road signs and road markings that are damaged and/or unclear. A road that shows severe wear and could potentially damage vehicle.
