Dearborn Ave. Railroad Crossings Tour | (Delray Junction) CSX Detroit Sub, CSAO Detroit Line

For this week’s crossing tour, we head to one of the major junctions in Detroit, and that being Delray Junction.
Delray sees train traffic from CN, CSX, NS, CPKC, and DCRR. The junction sees about 15-20 daily trains. Just south of the junction lay two crossings on Dearborn Ave. The west crossing sees NS, CPKC, CSX, and DCRR. The line that runs across the crossing is the CSX Detroit Subdivision. The east crossing sees CN and NS, the double track line that runs through is the CSAO (NS) Detroit Line
The whole junction and the crossings are owned, operated and maintained by CSX. And today we tour both the crossings.
