Geometry dash is a good example of this. The game haven't updated for 7 years and the community is still keeping it strong because of its very powerful level editor.
Well I sure hope Genshin does get updates after they release this new feature. Unlike Geometry Dash, osu! or any other rhythm games there's no addicting gameplay in genshin atm. Even abyss is not really that fun. For me the game is getting carried by lore, beautiful world and characters. Characters' personalities I mean. If MiHoYo were to just drop that update after Khaenri'ah and completely forget about the game and move on to a new one, I'd probably also move on. Games like Roblox, Fortnite (kinda), GD, osu! were made to support player generated content. And that's not rly the case for genshin. But hey, all they need to do for player generated content to work is just continue developing the game. Maybe think of some new story arc, similar to what FF14 did with endwalker. Then player generated content will be a good addition to the game that people can enjoy in their free time, between the updates. But unlike someone said in replies I highly doubt the game will be "self-sustaining" with only addition of player generated content.
i just want another combat-based game mode where it capitalizes on elemental reactions. I want it to be combat-based. I can’t use my invested and well-built characters in TCG and Teapot. i don’t wanna grind artifacts, get constellations & level up weapons just to pick mints.
I totally agree. If I owned genshin, I would make more abyss floors (up to 20), other combat modes, and on top of that, make the divine ingenuity permanent. So that people would feel that daily artifact grinding is truly important and relevant, and their constellations and weapons weren't obtained in vain. Because for now, I feel like all the money I've ever spent was in vain and recently I've stopped spending money on genshin altogether. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Mihoyo are losing money because of their inability to listen
@artliom1311 yup same. No sense in spending money if abyss doesn't really challenge your characters. I think it would be cool if they made an endless mode with maybe some player rankings/reward tiers or something. So many things they could do to keep us spending.
@@NPC-ro5io That would be a nice idea for a new game mode: no timer, just endless waves of enemies and each wave is more difficult than the previous one. The first waves would be slimes and hilichurls, then gradually adding more aggressive enemies, and then beasts and local legends
is Divine Ingenuity really that good? I didn't touch the Custom Domain part because it feels like a mini-game that are insignificant. I love combat based content such as Abyss@@artliom1311
@@blazn0 1) in the recrutement announcement they're specifically asking for one that'll work in the combat system. 2) they never said they're never doing any other combat stuff, they stated they're not making any other mode like Spiral Abyss, but it could be other stuff, like a permanent divine ingenuity.
@@TnsclaJust goes to show how much of a brainrot move it is to shit on the titles that compete with your favorite game. Competition can only improve your favorite game. Sadly genshin community isn't very smart to realize that
Bruh, teapot and tcg and hangout are permanent. They add permanent game modes. They were very clear that they would not add another abyss like mode. So the new permanent content won't be battle related.
I don't know why yall think that . But Hoyo most of the times has always listen to players ,it's that most of the playerbase doesn't share the same opinion as you .
Small correction - their wording on the 3.7 dev post implies that they didn't think Divine Ingenuity (or other events such as the rhythm games, management sims, etc.) was fleshed-out enough to serve as permanent content in the same way as, say, TCG. Assuming this UGC posting actually has to do with a permanent Divine Ingenuity (I find it very likely, considering they went as far as to create a tutorial on their RUclips channel voiced by Alice of all people), they likely intend to make it far more featured and interesting than the previous version. I also believe this is why they haven't added endgame in the style of Spiral Abyss. It's not replayable enough to serve as engaging permanent content, and a similar mode wouldn't be enough to satisfy players who want more combat content. If they rushed development and made a mediocre mode, it would be very difficult to retool it or remove it afterwards. It's simply not been a priority since most of their internal dev team was sent to work on Star Rail for a while. That's why we're getting so many new systems and QoL changes recently - a lot of those people with more extensive knowledge of the codebase have now returned to work on Genshin.
I feel like as long as community has the right tools, this addition is great. I hope they go back on their decision and do add better endgame related content, like Simulated Universe and other stuff. (UGC shouldn't count as endgame)
Ditto. It’s never made sense to not add another form of permanent content. It just leaves the game empty feeling during down patches. You don’t have to make the game revolve around it, but that doesn’t mean you have to ignore it entirely
Isn't about end game, looks at they mention Roblox, and Minecraft etc from what i know Genshin devs want making Genshin like 2-in-1 game then become like 10-in-1 game in the next couple years something like that, imagine Fall Guys adding to Genshin, Windtrace become permanent something like that, basically every type of Casual Games will coming to Genshin if true
Hope its not SU. Standard SU is extremely padded artifact farming. Even the devs know that and said they're looking to fix it in latest dev stream, sadly something like half a year later. The 2 special SUs suffer from requiring far too much time investment that can be instantly taken away by bad RNG and waste all your time. Star Rail in general suffers from being too reliant on RNG instead of player skill. No movement, dodging or positioning and very limited options in general.
people like Tectone only care are content engangement farm, making drama, grifting and pretty clear he don't care with any games they paly and just want to keep the drama on and on. grifter in general never have good faith argument and want to keep the feud or feud they make never end. I found it shocking some aspiring small GI creator end up slowly become grifter and only want to banking on that man presence, so much for their integrity and honesty.
@@jakkubus It's actually the most underrated one. There was a lot of potential to make 1v1 competitions with the last iteration but no one did anything. People haven't understood what you can truly do with it. I made a lot of short maps that can be 1v1-ed whether they were combat, puzzles, races, mazes etc... And i got feedback that they were fun.
Yeah, user generated content is what keeps some of the best games ever made going to this day. Left4dead2 still has hundreds of thousands of players 15 years later, only because of the mods and community maps available. Same with 7 days to die. Hopefully they won't bring their usual incompetence into this, and actually make something that will make genshin into a game that it should have been from the beginning.
As long as the reward is good (ahem, primos) likely I'm willing to do those events. Anyway, Labyrinth of Warrior is actually very good old content that suits end game content. It can test how far our built team can go, defeating enemies and surviving. the deeper the level the harder the enemies are. Just like abyss but way more chambers, it can be made possibly endless with RNG on enemy type.
Primos/artifacts is the only reward that are "good" for us old players. EXP book, enhancement ore, talent material are useless because we already built our chars and those other rewards serve no purpose
Elite enemies/Boss rush - with new moves - buff up bosses - not time challenge - rewarded with Primogems or maybe special co-op bosses that gives challenges
personally all I want is some game mode where I can actually use my built characters. the fighting system with the elemental reactions is one of the things that drew me into genshin in the first place and not being able to fully capitalize on that is just a wasted opportunity imo.
I would really like the one that happened on Liyue Archon quest wherein there were waves of enemies you need to and protect the Adepti. Like every wave you'll be able to get a buff and then enemies get tougher then there will be half-time wherein you'll be able to collect something to recruit your characters.
They always have direction, their direction is "Genshin is a casual game", just because their direction is different than yours, doesn't mean they're aimless.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.. From one side, I'm happy, it's basically new gamemodes that they'll be making, which is great. On the other side, they said they wants people with experience in "Minecraft, Roblox, Fall Guys, and Party Animals", and that makes me think, that it'll most likely be some other Mini-Game type of content rather than building something more challenging or, connected to the game mechanics. Like, I feel like they still want to do some kind of stuff like Parkour maps rather than, a domain challenge with scaling difficulty based on combat for example. And honestly, even if they add these type of side-content there's gonna be people not happy about it, just like there's still people complaining about TCG and Teapot and wants em gone- Soooo.. I hope I'm wrong, and we could get some new stuff that's not just a mini-game inside the game >-
Man I hope it's something like HSR's SU. I don't want fall guys in my Genshin because they tried doing that with the Fontaine Film Festival and Lantern Rite and that was booty cheeks deluxe.
IMO I think this is probably the best direction they could (potentially) take. With HSR I felt that they could add SU much like how Labyrinth Warriors had its domain. But over time, I don't think that would've been a good, sustainable "endgame", it's just an alternative. Been playing HSR since launch and I personally feel my interest with SU slowly wanning. At the end of the day, base SU (no expansions) is just 3-4 artifact/relic domains stitched together with routes in between. When I consider the possibility of this being integrated into Genshin, I could imagine a similar sense of monotony develop. Expanding user generated content as permanent content has a lot more potential growth and longevity I think!
SU feels like extremely padded artifact farming. Even the devs know that and said they're looking to fix it in latest dev stream, sadly something like half a year later. Star Rail in general suffers from being too relied on RNG instead of player skill. No movement or positioning and very limited options in general.
@@jepeman Too true. I couldn't watch the livestream (an hour and a half is crazy) but saw mention that they want to help update SU in regards to Planar farming. Hopeful, but they gotta nail the method otherwise the change could be minimal or inconsequential. After beating the hardest difficulties in both SU expansions, I hardly ever go back into them. Sure I might miss out on like 60 jade? But that's not enough to drag me into RNG hell lol Funnily enough, since getting Chiori, I have been appreciating more that Genshin is still skill reliant. Been trying wacky teams with her in Abyss and its been a little more fun than dealing with MoC shenanigans
what you said immediately reminded me of my favorite mobile game Geometry Dash. its user level editor singlehandedly pushed the game through nearly 6 years without any updates, and is the only reason so many people even know about it to begin with it got so big that content creators around the game were able to gain a sort of 'mod' status in determining which levels became featured. this certainly has alot of promise if implemented correctly, while also being a clever way to offload alot of the creative work to the fanbase
This is probably the most accurate and relatable explanation of genshin’s game state I have ever heard. I couldn’t agree more. I am part of the group of players with disposable income but not much time to play, and the amount of stuff I still have to complete in the game is absurd.
This will be one of the best decisions they can make for one simple reason, they are giving us the key to the Lambo. By doing so they are assuring that no matter if you are a casual or hardcore player they will be something in genshin for you. It is a W/W situation.
Talking about endgame combat content, I dont think this UGC will help genshin combat the way we think it is....... because its UGC. Idk I kinda wonder if let say a combat content is made by the players, how will they adjust the rewards ? Remember no reward means no push to try it out. Its always stuck in my head that if they really want to make another combat content, couldnt they just hire people without saying it as UGC ? If someone has another opinion, enlighten me. I am not experienced in this UGC stuff

If anything could make me wanna continue playing Genshin it would be this! Like I commented on previous video, I really don't think there would be any other gacha game (unless they somehow blow up just like mihoyo did with genshin) that makes balanced characters without crazy power creep. The lack of power creep in genshin is a godsent. If they finally make some expandable endgame or even make community to make that endgame for them, I'm all for it. Genshin's the only game (except Dwarf Fortress) where I REALLY care about the lore and try to read anything and everything. I haven't really played many gacha games, the only one I did play is Azur Lane when it was still only in Chinese appstores when I was in school because I had nothing better to do. And from what I've seen they were just pumping out new waifus over and over again, with no real lore, character or personality. In Genshin every single character, even a 4* having a personality, theirown story is just so cool. And just simply the amount of features genshin has is absurd. Good housing system, musical instruments, TCG (for whoever plays it). If I was a creative person I'd just spend hours looking through housing menu trying to make a new cool place. I've seen one person in game that showed me their housing plots and I was amazed! They made so many and they were all so beautiful! Anyway, I'm glad that I saw your video. I don't use social media at all, except youtube I guess, so there would be no way for me to see this announcement. Now I'm excited and hopeful about the future of the game.
I loved that event they made a few updates ago, the one where you could make custom domains. I made a super hard map which took me days to complete (It had to shielders and the only healer was mika) sadly all that time was wasted, but it was fun at least lol
Some people really treat genshin impact as their ex-boyfriend but they always come back on the next update like nothing happened coz they can't beat fomo, especially with Arle coming soon. And some of them are legit salty coz they have to actually farm and work hard to get a character instead of getting it for free 😂

I'll be honest I have no expectations regarding this content if it's like the Teapot in terms of creation you might as well give it up I would have preferred if they made us a dungeon every 15 days with lots of puzzles, exploration, a boss and a treasure room at the end rather than that Basically they are going to give us a new toy that will amuse a minority, like the TCG, with creators who will be an ultra-minority like the Teapot. We will have no reward, no objective to accomplish, it will entertain us for 1 week then we will start asking for end game content again. Floor 13 would have made the day for the whole community. A big dungeon, with lots of exploration, puzzles and without being bored by the optimization of our characters, would have been more exciting! But no, they re going to give us something to buy social peace for the duration of an update and then we'll return to our routine.
I see a lot of potential. Genshin Impact could become the best gatcha game out there if they listen to the community and actively implement what they desire.
If they let us design 5 Star and 4 stars characters make their kit and passif and choose their weapon category. Design their face and costumes.. That will be a win I can finally design my prefered anemo sword DPS. And I will call him zoro. And maybe a physical catalyst DPS that use punches (Luffy)
Well to begin with with how popular the game is they're bound to get a lot of applications, which might be left open for like 2 weeks to a month, then they have to look through them all, and interview the profiles that interest them most. Just that we're easily looking for another month, then once recruited they have to be formed to every related to what they'll do with the company tools, again another easy 1-2 months, then they have to work on the game mode and tbh there's no way to know how long it'll take but I'd say around 6 months. So with those numbers taken out of my ass we'd be talking around 10 months or so. Could be earlier but could be latter as well, maybe we'll have event to test different mechanics to see what goes well with players, which would also take times, between making the event, letting it run through, compiling and analyzing feedback then making changes to the game mode.
Yes! They would have to try REALLY hard to make this fail. Even with limited resources, players could make fantastic content. There could be a whole WC3-like subsection of players who create complicated maps and have leaderboards on dedicated websites. Like the last event where you could create content, there will certainly be groups set up to make the combat achievements easy to get -- oh! I wonder if they will allow you to trial characters you don't own on other people's maps, if the creator supplies characters to use for their level? Imagine they _really_ open up the resources available to creators - all of the furniture in the teapot? Interactable NPCs? Considering this is going to be "as important as the game itself" I wouldn't be surprised! I wonder, also, if this is going to be lore related? Since this is likely going to be coming out around the time of the end of the Teyvat Chapter.... could this be us leaving the "eggshell" of Teyvat for brief missions into alternate universes on the imaginary tree? You never know!
The prop hunt being permanent is a game changer and if the games are like the current event (Potion store management) Adventuring will be my side job 😄
Fantastical scenario: when the main story ends, Traveler becomes a god and you gain the ability to reshape or recreate the entire world. Realistic scenario: they're re-releasing Divine Ingenuity as a permanent mode next anniversary. Leaning more towards the latter; besides how unbelievably difficult engineering the former would be (think about how bad the teapot interface is), they're too protective of their designs to let players meddle with them to that extent, and too secretive to drop obvious hints like this. "As important as the game itself" just sounds like marketing. Edit: One thing though... you may remember the "Kaveh incident" where hackers managed to delete important objects like statues and domain trees from people's worlds, which had to be restored manually. It's pretty weird that the game saves the status of permanent objects to begin with. Maybe there's a future reason for that.
I'm unsure if I will be interested in such mode, I don't even know exactly what is UGC, but if I want to play MOBA, I will do it in DotA2, if I want life simulation I can play TS4, Paralive, Stardew, etc. Game such as Fall Guys & Among Us is very seasonal for us, we play it for a week, and then forget it forever. What I feel lacking tho, is after collecting characters & constellation, there's nothing much to do, Abyss (although cannot always 12 tries) is getting too easy rn.
If they allowed modes like Skyrim the possibilities would be endless. The community could fix bugs, improve quality of life issues and make endless content. With the advent of AI replicating voices + access to world building assets like the Teapot, the community could make amazing character quests for everyone to enjoy.
@@ziebus904 sorry not sure what you point is. I believe Skyrim had modes from its launch or soon after and a free game would justify community content more than a paid one.
what do you mean "no reason" ? You need a reason to play a game... ? it's not a job you know, if you don't enjoy these game mods that's okay, but many people do like them even among meta players
@@clementlassalle4317 Story/quests and Abyss earn primos, Teapot and TCG don't. My main satisfaction from the game comes from the battle system. That is, the other modes are fun, but the abyss and quests allow for more chances to earn wishes.
hopefully 3 yrs from now standard mobile hardware will be at a point where they dont hobble the potential for user generated content lol like i would love to make a 3d person type tower defense game mode, but we can barely fill 10 square meters of a teapot area!!!!
finally hoyoverse understood that they are not supposed to ditch their old games in favor of new ones,i mean i "think" they had a planning of milking genshin players and release another game (aka ZZZ hsr...) so they can milk the same players more infinitely due to lack of content in genshin (they kinda did the same for hi3rd)but it might never work with genshin since its their magnum opus and if they keep forcing players (the HSRxGENSHIN drama) to join the hsr hype train they might lose both player bases and as the saying goes "The Person Who Chases Two Rabbits Catches Neither" ,but maybe, just maaaybe they understood how games are supposed to work after the aniversary scandal.
this is really interesting and might be what we actually need in terms of loop content but, there is also the problem of when. If they make te recruitment now it might be like 2 years till release. We are already 3.5 years in and me personally having to wait 1 or 2 years more does not make me excited , not to mention that this could also end in something that is not that good because of the restrictions they will implement.... like "artifact load out" . We were asking for artifact load out since Inazuma and after 2 more years, this is what we got.
Entirely agree with the time frame you're giving. It's almost making me think a lot of HI3, because they just had Part 2 released and it changed quite a few base things about the game, including a new mode. I'm honestly thinking they're recruiting now so that when Genshin has its own Part 2 come out then we'll get some new form of content that's going to be this UGC that they're recruiting for rn. Genshin's main story seems like it'll be ending sometime in those 2-3 years so it seems plausible 🤔
The thing is, maybe they just want another game to be published because ZZZ is currently not doing well in the beta, and all the suggestions/features that player wants in genshin will be implemented on that new game. And yes, like they do in HSR.
Genshin should actually do something like honkai impact after end game or something like that, I mean having parts for the game ! After the last crisis in celestia, Teyvat can become a teleportable world so that we can use characters in another part too !(This is just to look the lore realistic) Or they could simply continue the game by n!ot meeting the siblings eve n after celestia and bringing new crisis with a new story and lore for continuation but it will just make the game so big that's why mzking parts is much better idea ,btw these are all my ideas don't take it seriously!
ngl this just seems lazy... I want to be rewarded for using my built characters and Idk if player-made gamemodes are gonna satisfy that... Genshin players are very stubborn, they will get ass content and rewards and they will play it anyway. Acting like genshin needs UGC to keep on going is crazy to me, mihoyo knows they don't have to do anything extra to keep the players engaged.
This could either be incredible or completely flop, depending solely on what sort of limits they implement (their usual load limit being a big one) and how rewards will be handled. At the end of the day, this is a gacha and I don't see Hoyo allowing creators to just give players access to all characters with max constellations for whatever content they design. The games often listed as examples are not live-service games and certainly not gachas.
Unfortunately, I have serious reservation after the severe letdown that was artifact loadouts... Better off just forgetting all about this and enjoy the game for what it is.
All i'll say is something Echo'd by Zy0x of all people, but true i think for almost any 1.0 era players. I really and always hoped this game would have something like a Dungeon Crawler, for me even if it isn't all meta focused and just co-op focused with good team interactions that would be so nice, and even if its more revolving content then what would truly be dungeon crawling. I guess I'm just saying i hope this can include co-op, even if that means bumpercar like fan made events, because if its just single player then for me at least it will just feel mute, even if its still kind of awesome.
anyone who thinks it's gunna be like pure fiction doesn't understand childe.. all the way in 1.1... is the reason we don't have AoE in abyss. childe, venti, ganyu, and now bloom would make it completely trivial and dendro already suffocates the game's meta. i would much prefer just extreme boss versions of trounce domains that are actually hard like the very early concept of raiden shogun's boss fight with 36 million health
yep, we already see it in combat events focused around endless AoE waves - Childe teams (for low level enemies) and Nilou teams get ridiculously higher scores compared to the rest of the roster. But honestly it could still be pretty cool, after all spiral abyss is mostly small AoE (only a few enemies at a time, with no more than like 2-3 waves) or full on single target with 3 consecutive bosses, which tends to favor single-target teams overall, so it could mean a shake-up in the meta - it's not like ganyu and venti (or even childe imo) are considered super meta nowadays
@@qwertysysysyysysysyzz exactly, so some more AoE-focused endgame could be good, but like, real AoE, not just 3-4 enemies but more like 15-20 enemies at a time. It would considerably disadvantage hyperbloom and the like (though they'd still be ok) and allow other teams/reactions to shine
I’m glad they’re finally implementing valid replayable content, but it’s such a shame that they took so long to do so. A decent size of the playerbase has already moved on from the game
This definitely has the potential to revive the game, but if it does it probably won't be here for a few years. If it's something they implement within a year it's most likely going to be some surface level meaningless thing. I'm cautiously optimistic about the whole thing. One thing I'd correct you on is that it was StarCraft that spawned the tower defense genre even before WC3 was released. DOTA and it's predecessors were defintely a WC3 thing though.
Right, that's why i said "popularized" for wc3. I wanted to mention Starcraft 1 but I feel like the current version of tower defense mostly comes from wc3
@@TheGenshinScientistmm fair enough. Modded maps for SC1 were kinda niche even in its heyday, WC3 really helped bring Tower Defense and MOBA into the mainstream. I guess I didn't catch the distinction there.
They finally realized that picking mint and daily artifact domains isn’t enough for player retention and that their own sponsored/regular streamers are streaming other games more frequently.
Genuinely, this is absolutely shameful. Why? Genshin has more than enough resources, mfs has billions of dollars, recyclable models and assets/codes from abandoned combat events (this is confirmed because of the events re-runs). All they had to do is bring back Divine Ingenuity and improve on the combat options there. Or just bring back Labyrinth Warriors with a few additions. It's not that deep and these bastards are trying to look for the bottom of the ocean floor 💀 What a disgrace.
They are exactly bringing back divine ingenuity with more options... Doing a great User generated content perma mode is very hard to achieve in term of dev.
@@SnakeTGK Don'tforget the fact that they have more than enough resources for this to work out. is Divine Ingenuity really that good? I didn't touch the Custom Domain part because it feels like a mini-game that are insignificant. I love combat based content such as Abyss@@artliom1311
If it's a combat based mode like Simulated Universe then I will take it. If it's another tcg type thing... well, we will see.

Lmao, we're getting PVP bois
It's 100% not going be combat.
Hoyo clearly said that.

@@Tnscla totally agree, the closer the release of this game is, the scarier those genshin devs become

I want user generated QoL mods approved by Hoyoverse and downloadable for free.
Elite enemies/Boss rush
- with new moves
- buff up bosses
- not time challenge
- rewarded with Primogems
or maybe special co-op bosses that gives challenges
personally all I want is some game mode where I can actually use my built characters. the fighting system with the elemental reactions is one of the things that drew me into genshin in the first place and not being able to fully capitalize on that is just a wasted opportunity imo.
League MMO is gonna come out before they add a permanent gamemode
💀💀💀💀
so never. got it
I would really like the one that happened on Liyue Archon quest wherein there were waves of enemies you need to and protect the Adepti.
And honestly, even if they add these type of side-content there's gonna be people not happy about it, just like there's still people complaining about TCG and Teapot and wants em gone-
Soooo.. I hope I'm wrong, and we could get some new stuff that's not just a mini-game inside the game >-
I havent watched this video yet, but JelloImpact's video shows that they also mentioned combat design as another thing they're looking for
they mention both combat and rougelike gameplay too

Funnily enough, since getting Chiori, I have been appreciating more that Genshin is still skill reliant. Been trying wacky teams with her in Abyss and its been a little more fun than dealing with MoC shenanigans
what you said immediately reminded me of my favorite mobile game Geometry Dash. its user level editor singlehandedly pushed the game through nearly 6 years without any updates, and is the only reason so many people even know about it to begin with
it got so big that content creators around the game were able to gain a sort of 'mod' status in determining which levels became featured.
this certainly has alot of promise if implemented correctly, while also being a clever way to offload alot of the creative work to the fanbase
This is probably the most accurate and relatable explanation of genshin’s game state I have ever heard. I couldn’t agree more.

Just make Arena and add Extra floors in abyss that require 3 teams and more as you go up.
I loved that event they made a few updates ago, the one where you could make custom domains. I made a super hard map which took me days to complete (It had to shielders and the only healer was mika) sadly all that time was wasted, but it was fun at least lol

It's always better to start at 0 hope for this company than to be hopeful and disappointed later
Some people really treat genshin impact as their ex-boyfriend but they always come back on the next update like nothing happened coz they can't beat fomo, especially with Arle coming soon. I'll be honest I have no expectations regarding this content
if it's like the Teapot in terms of creation you might as well give it up
I would have preferred if they made us a dungeon every 15 days with lots of puzzles, exploration, a boss and a treasure room at the end rather than that
Basically they are going to give us a new toy that will amuse a minority, like the TCG, with creators who will be an ultra-minority like the Teapot.
Hoping of traveler customization 🎉
I see a lot of potential. Genshin Impact could become the best gatcha game out there if they listen to the community and actively implement what they desire.
This braindead community wants
-eazier content
-less content
-godshit events
-garbage story
-no qol
If they let us design 5 Star and 4 stars characters make their kit and passif and choose their weapon category. Design their face and costumes.. That will be a win I can finally design my prefered anemo sword DPS. And I will call him zoro. And maybe a physical catalyst DPS that use punches (Luffy)
That sounds fun on paper but it would never actually work lmao
TGS, just a honest question here. If they are hiring now, when do you think we will get anything? 1 year? 2 years?
that's exactly what I thought, this isn't something that we should look forward to in the near future
Could be earlier but could be latter as well, maybe we'll have event to test different mechanics to see what goes well with players, which would also take times, between making the event, letting it run through, compiling and analyzing feedback then making changes to the game mode.
its dev form event that they alreadyhave i dont think its so long like that
wrost case is 1 year i think.
During khaenria patch thats the end game.
An equalized (everyone gets the same C_R_) PvP combat mode would be nice.
If they allowed modes like Skyrim the possibilities would be endless. The community could fix bugs, improve quality of life issues and make endless content. With the advent of AI replicating voices + access to world building assets like the Teapot, the community could make amazing character quests for everyone to enjoy.
Skyrim you pay to get game genshin is free. S is finished g is not
@@ziebus904 sorry not sure what you point is. I believe Skyrim had modes from its launch or soon after and a free game would justify community content more than a paid one.

what do you mean ?
what do you mean "no reason" ? You need a reason to play a game... ? it's not a job you know, if you don't enjoy these game mods that's okay, but many people do like them even among meta players

finally hoyoverse understood that they are not supposed to ditch their old games in favor of new ones,i mean i "think" they had a planning of milking genshin players and release another game (aka ZZZ hsr...) so they can milk the same players more infinitely due to lack of content in genshin (they kinda did the same for hi3rd)but it might never work with genshin since its their magnum opus and if they keep forcing players (the HSRxGENSHIN drama) to join the hsr hype train they might lose both player bases and as the saying goes "The Person Who Chases Two Rabbits Catches Neither" ,but maybe, just maaaybe they understood how games are supposed to work after the aniversary scandal.
this is really interesting and might be what we actually need in terms of loop content but, there is also the problem of when.
How crazy would it be if this all turned out to be the setup for an elaborate April fools joke by hoyo?
Imagine they make the custom domain event as permanent

battle royal did not origin from minecraft hunger games. It originated from an older movie "battle royal"
Genshin should actually do something like honkai impact after end game or something like that, I mean having parts for the game !
After the last crisis in celestia, Teyvat can become a teleportable world so that we can use characters in another part too !(This is just to look the lore realistic)
Or they could simply continue the game by n!ot meeting the siblings eve n after celestia and bringing new crisis with a new story and lore for continuation but it will just make the game so big that's why mzking parts is much better idea ,btw these are all my ideas don't take it seriously!
Its probably for their new game. The animal crossing like game cause their recruotung for people that knows farming, building sims
Just make Hypostatic Symphony and Energy Amplifier as permanent game mode, then add more enemy levels, buffs and rewards.
I have hope for this, they've been trying to optimize the game for a while, I'm glad they're trying to be more open to other options
ngl this just seems lazy...
So long as it isn’t more TCG I’m interested.
I like how they give us increasingly difficult game modes and they give you minecwaft they really know their player bases

All i'll say is something Echo'd by Zy0x of all people, but true i think for almost any 1.0 era players. I really and always hoped this game would have something like a Dungeon Crawler, for me even if it isn't all meta focused and just co-op focused with good team interactions that would be so nice, and even if its more revolving content then what would truly be dungeon crawling. anyone who thinks it's gunna be like pure fiction doesn't understand childe.. all the way in 1.1... is the reason we don't have AoE in abyss.
childe, venti, ganyu, and now bloom would make it completely trivial and dendro already suffocates the game's meta.
i would much prefer just extreme boss versions of trounce domains that are actually hard like the very early concept of raiden shogun's boss fight with 36 million health
yep, we already see it in combat events focused around endless AoE waves - Childe teams (for low level enemies) and Nilou teams get ridiculously higher scores compared to the rest of the roster. But honestly it could still be pretty cool, after all spiral abyss is mostly small AoE (only a few enemies at a time, with no more than like 2-3 waves) or full on single target with 3 consecutive bosses, which tends to favor single-target teams overall, so it could mean a shake-up in the meta - it's not like ganyu and venti (or even childe imo) are considered super meta nowadays
hyperbloom cucks bosses, any team with hyperbloom like alhaitham or raiden team will destroy any boss, same with hutao

This definitely has the potential to revive the game, but if it does it probably won't be here for a few years. If it's something they implement within a year it's most likely going to be some surface level meaningless thing. I'm cautiously optimistic about the whole thing.
It's not that deep and these bastards are trying to look for the bottom of the ocean floor 💀
What a disgrace.
They are exactly bringing back divine ingenuity with more options... Doing a great User generated content perma mode is very hard to achieve in term of dev.
@@SnakeTGK Don'tforget the fact that they have more than enough resources for this to work out. It has been almost 4 fucking years without any meaningful permanent content other than the story they are obligated to improve on. We need more combat content immediately. The new divine ingenuity may not be that old, but the first version was. They could have done something sonner.
wuthering waves is a curse and a bless for all of us simutanously
Off topic: are ad blocking addons banned in EU already? It pains me to look at some browser screens...
Took them 4 years, and they thought TCG (Trash Card Game) is "it"
A few years from now is a long time no? Don't get me wrong,I'm excited but if you're telling me that I'll have to wait 3 more years, the excitation dies down.
