FYI for sun/moon midpoint power, I met a man and he instantly felt attracted to me. After brief dating for 2 months he asked me to marry him. At that time I didn't understand why because he was quite a player and I still didn't know anything about astrology. So I accused him of fantasizing our relationship or fooling himself. He was very hurt. Years later and after so many breakups between us I looked at our synastry chart and found out that my sun conjunct almost exactly with his S/M. He found "the wife" in me. After breakup we still saw each other from time to time to catch up about life as friends. After I found out about our S/M connection I apologized to him that I misunderstood his intention and I knew now that he really loved me. That apology made him so happy and relieved. It felt like I SET HIM FREE.

thank you so much! this explains so much for me! i have always been attracted to guys with an earthy, steady vibe (taurus descendant, mars in 6th house, and sun/moon mdpt in capricorn). however, my moon and venus are in a fire and air sign so guys like this never seem to work out for me. clears a whole lot of issues up haha. the guy i like has a sag sun and i'm a sag moon, so they were conjunct! he also has a pisces moon and i'm a pisces sun; another conjunction! AND he has a venus in capricorn, my sun/moon mdpt! everything you mentioned explains everything about why i like him. thank you so so much

i have this interesting chart aspect between mine and hers natal vs the composite cart. composite sun and venus are exact and are also on exact conjunction to my natal vertex. our composite southnode is exact on her natal vertex. and her natal vertex is conjunct my natal sun. i find myself zig zagging alot between the charts lolol

If Sun is at 15:00 Aries and the Moon is at 15:00 Gemini in your chart, then your Sun/Moon midpoint will be 15:00 Taurus.

Hi Nichole, I bumped into this video as I am learning synastry and compatibility.... And I was wondering, you say that " Sun/Moon Midpoint--ideal partner" are you counting counterclockwise (as usual)?
I'm a sun Cancer/ Virgo moon and I just cant imagine myself being with a Leo...I swear he would drain me. As for the other way around the clock, mid point would be Aquarius, which is kinda funny (an air sign!) bcz all of my life I have been attracted to them, although it never worked. Aqua is my 5th (Virgo Asc), I always thought that could be why.
So, just wondering about your mid-point here, if ever you read this and you have a minute....

Hey Nichole, I had a question. So my descendant is Aquarius and its ruling planet is Uranus. I'm interested in someone who has Sun conjunct Uranus. Is that significant in the attraction factor? I also have Saturn in my 7th house and the same person is a Capricorn Sun (with Venus conjunct his Saturn).

So my 7th house is in Taurus, the ruler is Venus.. His Venus is in Aries that falls in his 1st house, the ruler is Mars, and my Mars is in Virgo (and my Moon too) in the 6th house of his chart.. Plus, my Venus is in Taurus that conjuncts with his Sun in his 2nd house of Taurus and my Sun in Cancer falls in his 4th house of family, which I guess is a good placement. But we both have our Pluto in Scorpio. So his Pluto conjuncts my Pluto and my Ascendant and both my Pluto and my Ascendant opposes his Sun. At this point I don't really know what to think lol...

I find your Sun/Moon midpoint a bit confounding:
I've Moon in Aries 4 degrees and Sun in Cancer 4 degrees. So my Midpoint is Taurus right? But for some reason, I'm generally unattracted to Taurus people or Taurus energy-ish types. I find them quite boring and slow. However, if the Midpoint is the midpoint between the distance of the Sun to the Moon in the natural zodiac sequence rather than the Moon to the Sun, I can see where you are going.
So is it the former or the latter?
4 (Sun) + 94 (Moon) = 98; 98 / 2 = 49; 49 - 30 = 19 Taurus Sun/Moon midpoint. Either your partner's Sun or Moon could be conjunct your Sun/Moon midpoint. But... your Sun or Moon could be conjunct HIS Sun/Moon midpoint instead. That would work too.
Is Aries in the Sign of Scorpio in the 6th house 17th degree pretty intense combination? great video

Hi Nicole! My midpoint is in libra if I did my math correct. However I find I don't click with libras at all romanticly. I've been on dates with libras and they are usually scared of me or we are like total yin/Yang. I have a cancer sun, Scorpio North node and Virgo Mars. So I assume my ideal partner is not an air sign?? Please help!

Hey Nichole, I have a friend and if I look at it Sun to Moon compatibility its my Libra Sun to her Gemini moon then her Capricorn Sun to my Virgo moon. Looking at it like that it seems compatible because of air to air then earth to earth. But looking strictly sun to sun and moon to moon its a double Square relation of Libra to Capricorn then Gemini to Virgo. Would you say its still a good compatibility?
+Jagbe 09 The Gemini moon of hers might be the wild card here. Meaning it might get a bit restless and do things that could possibly hurt your Virgo moon.
Hi! I went online and did a free birth chart compatibility test using my partners and I birthdates, dd/mm/yy, do you feel that the information that I provided was enough to accurately forecast our compatibility moreover, do you think that I can rely on the results that I received per, said tests?
+. Without birth time, your moons will not be exact, neither will any of the house placements....but you will still be able to get a general idea about planetary interaspects. A computerized report is never as good as a reading by a professional astrologer. There are patterns and themes that an astrologer will be able to pull out of the synastry chart between two people, that a computer program can't do...or at least not yet!

I noticed on your website, that in order to do a compatibility relationship reading that each individual would need to do their own charts and with that you would then create a compatibility report. So I guess what I'm asking is what would be the total cost of the compatibility report, also, what if we don't know our birth times?

How about sun moon opposition double whammy and what if the lord of the 7th house of one person (jupiter) conjuncts the other persons saturn?
Also what if midpoints are exactly opposite each other does that mean anything or not :)
+sheghy Sun/Moon opposition in which signs and how tight are the orbs? Which house is the Saturn falling into in the Jupiter person's chart? What's the orb?
sun in taurus, moon in scorp, orb 6 degree ( but i dont know the time of birth of the other person so orb is not accurate) and again sun in 23.48 scorp moon in 1 degree gemini (-7 degree orb) .... my 7th house lord is jupiter and it is in gemini in 3.37 degrees his saturn is 3.46 gemini _ gemini is in my first house so this conjunction happens in my first house... my mid point is in taurus and his midpoint is in scorpio degrees are pretty close :)

+Cosmic Pilli Your Moon in Pisces is especially interesting to me. He's learning more about moving into Pisces territory, but he's got an Aquarius Venus....he values independence and logic, yet he feels moved to remove barriers and merge more with others. Your Moon is going to exacerbate that a bit. Doesn't have to be a bad thing, but you have to be sure to give him a lot of room to come to you, rather than moving towards him. Your NN is in Gemini, which is quite different from your Moon in Pisces. Sounds like a nice teaching relationship. Of course this is only a small part of the synastry between two people! why do you find pisces moon interesting?
im trippin left and right on this guy which i enjoy very much in myself although never felt this heavy and instinctive about someone before. BUT neptune is conj-ing my moon until january and i read that this time you don't see clearly so i just have gone deeper in to astrology and it's helping me tremendously figuring out things and transforming. i don't know, i guess im already a winner because i learned so much about others and me.
