    I'm excited about this. I've started listing more lots just on my phone after watching some of your videos and reading your writeups on the Blowout form and Twitter. This would probably get me to take the leap to getting a scanner and Kronocard. I think if I had any suggestions, it would be that once you get it setup for lots of 10/11/12/100, it would be nice to have both an intermediate option (like 50) and then probably increments of 100 from like 100-500 as well for moving lots of inventory at once but still being able to list cards individually in the description for search results and have photos (even if it is pretty compressed).

      Thanks! Really appreciate your feedback. I’ve tested some 200 card lots in my store and haven’t sold any yet but I could definitely add them into the tool. 50 has done well for me too on the couple I did but I did a different format: the first photo was 10 cards front/back and I just had 5 total with no “main” photo. Will think about this more too. My goal once it’s live is to keep adding more and more to it so eventually it will do every lot size between 2 and 100 cards at a minimum. Really appreciate your feedback!

    Another great video Paul. i'm still with ya, Kronocard is the much better choice over Card Dealer Pro. I still just use the export with my custom Excel Macro to ready it for eBay. Your tool looks promising.

      Thanks for checking it out and commenting! Excel macros are awesome too. The tool has changed the entire game for me and I’m really excited for others to experience it too once I get some testers using it

    Great video Paul. I need to automate my listings to get to the next level. Question - Rather than having to create separate imaging builders, could you add a set that asks "How many cards in this lot?" and then it would build it

    • @paulcarlcards9050
      @paulcarlcards9050  2 дня назад

      Thanks! I started off playing with a lot of ways to try to do it that way but wasn’t happy with any of those experiments because the images came out too ugly with too much wasted space. Then there was the logic of doing the secondary layouts beyond the main images with that restriction of 24 images total and that was so complex that I figured it’d be easier to just create templates for each lot size. Someone smarter than me could probably make it work. I’m just gunna work harder not smarter to get it done sooner. 😝

    What is your approach for comping? Just gut feel or do you do it outside your app? What do you look for when pricing cards?

    • @paulcarlcards9050
      @paulcarlcards9050  День назад

      For singles, I’ll comp cards that I’m not sure of the value of (usually on COMC) and sometimes I’ll check on eBay too if something seems weird. I do this while I hang out with the wife when the kids are in bed. Those cards go into BCW tray slots based on price and usually end up at my antique mall booth for $0.50 to $5. Some will go to straight to COMC and the $10+ ones go in a slot to list to eBay.
      For lots I just price based on my target margins and what I think would be a great deal for customers.

    Hoping you can make this work I’m on kronocard also I would like to submit lots and see the cards individually

      Thanks! I’m confident I can. Anticipating some problems with trying to get an installer made and working but everything else is going fairly smoothly now

    Hi Paul, so I use card dealer pro. I have never understood Kronocard. So I'm assuming this can't work on Card dealer?

    • @paulcarlcards9050
      @paulcarlcards9050  2 дня назад

      Yeah it only works with Kronocard because CDP only gives you the eBay upload CSVs, there’s no option currently for CDP to export just the card and image data. This method is actually way cheaper too because you pay $192 for 250,000 AI credits per year and then $15/mo for the export add-on. Works out to $31/month to list up to a quarter of a million cards per year.

    So one more thing. You know the cards that are like 120a or b or c or d. does it know because I have no clue

    • @paulcarlcards9050
      @paulcarlcards9050  2 дня назад +1

      Yeah, it can get those correct but I’d still double check. Their AI is slightly better than CDP’s based on my most recent test.

    Can you clarify something? Why do you need AWS for storage? Let's say I use KC to get 1,000 photos for various listings. Once they are on the eBay server, I would no longer need the files. When I list, I take photos and then erase them immediately after my listing goes live (either in real time or when scheduled). Am I missing something? I wouldn't put it past me to be missing something obvious. The app looks amazing btw. I can't wait to use it.

      Something else that occurred to me right after hitting reply... It would be an awesome option to be able to have some sort of prioritizing function that would allow you to tell the app what details you want in the title. So you could say 'only show XYZ values in title' or 'don't show XYZ values in title' and check a box informing which values you mean (team, condition, parallell, etc.). Just something to consider for down the road. I'm really picky about titles so I bet I would end up editing them manually due to my ADHD tendencies.

      You have to get the images into the cloud somehow. Short of hosting a sever on your local PC you need something like AWS to get the images to ebay if you are listing by csv. You are correct, once they are uploaded to ebay you no longer need the images on AWS.

      @@AtomicZombieAndroid Gotcha. I appreciate the clarification.

      eBay is really weird about the images. The upload csv requires the images to be hosted on a 3rd party server and, after you upload the images, if you delete them then eBay won’t show them on the active listing anymore. However, if you delete the images off AWS after the listing has sold, eBay still has the image showing in the sold comps.
      I tested this probably like a year or so ago (where images break on eBay actives if they’re deleted off the hosting server) so maybe they changed it if it’s working for you? I’ll have to test it again.
      One idea I had to test too that I haven’t yet is doing end and sell similar then deleting the image from AWS to see if eBay still has it or not.
      Thanks for watching and giving me some feedback and ideas!

      Thanks for commenting! I gotta test that again because last time I tried deleting images after uploading, the listing images just showed a broken link.
