- It's a great time to be a fan of sci-fi and space games. From games about space trucking to cyberpunk adventures, these are my top 5 most anticipated science fiction games coming in 2023, 2024, and beyond! I threw in a few honorable mentions, like Space Trash Scavenger and Nivalis, just for good measure.

Space fans will be eating well in the future (no joke intended). Anyway, this continues to be cool content. I rewatched your space curses video, and it reminded me of something. You said that you had a lot of footage stored up from that, and I was hoping you could put together some kind of compendium or explanation video concerning all the deep space encounters, as I don't think any of us fully understand everything these encounters entail. No other channel appears to have done that yet, and I think you could make a pretty good video about it.

Also, if you like the look of Star Trucker, I suggest watching my favorite sci-fi B-movie: Space Truckers (1996). It's pretty evident this game is inspired by that movie

"Yeah, I have a type". We have a similar type, man. I'm holding off on wanting any games, since I'm moving and getting a new job, so I'm not counting on anything being stable enough to think about a new gaming adventure just yet.
A few years ago I'd be all over this, space games were my favorite. But lately i've found that with how little time adult life leaves me i'm better of with short indie platformers/metroidvania's. Still good list though, routine is also on my wishlist :D

Though out for a while the space game i want to play is star citizen, though starfield sounds interesting. Id also like to make my own space game in the future

Dude Star Trucker?? I didn’t know that was a thing but is also something I’ve wanted ever since I watched Cowboy Bebop lol.. as a console gamer I’m hoping and praying they eventually release it for Xbox series x 😮

Unfortunately I am not very optimistic for NMS future.
I don't believe so. Star Trucker would be the perfect VR game though! Hopefully they consider adding support later on.
Do you mean you're not optimistic Hello Games will keep supporting NMS? Or not optimistic about the direction it's going?

Starfield is the only one I care about right now. Skyrim is #1 in my game faves, and NMS is #2. I have been counting down the days until it gets here, and I can tell my wife and kid “I’m leaving on a space mission, don’t come downstairs, I will not be back for 1000 planets.”
I'm almost afraid of how big it'll be. Bethesda builds awesome worlds that I love to explore one building at a time. I can't imagine 1000 planets!

starfield was a disappointment to alot of people so i probably wont be getting it, but i am interested in ExeKiller.
