Definitely give the Loathe album from last year a listen mate, absolutely amazing. They're like a heavier Deftones and Chino's a huge fan of theirs. I love those guys as much as Spiritbox.

What about Trivium? I think they're one of the best metal bands right now.
It’s not really my thing, very talented and I’ve got a lot of respect for their work ethic but musically it misses the mark for me personally. I enjoyed their major debut album Ascendancy but after that they kinda lost me.
@@TheMetalHunter They changed a lot through out the years, yeah. Ascendancy is the record that got me into Trivium, but I think Shogun, In Waves or the last 3 records (The Sin and the Sentence, What the dead man says, In The Court of the dragon) are really good. They even have some songs now that pretty much sound like the old ascendancy record (The Defiant, A Crisis of revelation). You should give them a try.
@@coal_91 well actually I’m very familiar with their entire catalogue, I have seen them live many times at festivals and opening for bands I enjoy, I just don’t really like them. I’m happy that they are doing so well and have a great following but they’re really just not for me.

You gotta remember I mainly listen to Metal though, Metalcore is a secondary genre for me so sometimes bands like that fall under the radar.

I respect that dude, but you gotta be more specific when you say you listen to ‘Metal’ 😂
But on a serious note, Crystal Lake may come under the metalcore genre but they also come under the deathcore gang as well which is what makes them a stand out from the rest, I seriously recommend listening to their discography. I don’t give a fuck of people disagree with me but Japan is the hottest country right now in the Heavy Metal scene, period!! 🤘🏽
And also Loathe is not a Metalcore band, it’s hard to describe their sound, it’s like something I’ve never heard before. Have a listen to them and let me know what ya think 😉😘
