So when Laxman writes a book and invites Dravid to the launch, Dravid praises Laxman to the high heavens. And vice versa. They all realize they elevate their brands when they all praise each other and sell more books, deodorants, TVs etc. Pakistani cricketers think the pie is not enough for them and they must fight each other for it. That's partially why Yousuf can't stand Younis and Younis hates everyone (including the guy in the mirror). My two cents.

To answer the question on Misbah’s team vs India- let’s talk of 2012 - 2014 (Dhoni’s captaincy) cause 2015 onwards India were too dominant and Yousuf/Misbah were at fag end. Between 2012-2014- india would have won in India though it could have been bit competitive. India vs Pak in 2013 or 2014 in UAE would have been interesting as a contest as Indian spinners were coming into own and Pak spinners were more experienced. Maybe 1-1 in a 3 match series.
Osman in his book "The Unquiet Ones" wrote about Sydney Test 2010, and he wrote about Misbah that he was shivering in the dressing room, before coming out to bat when Pakistan were chasing 176... My question is that Is that True and If Osman could please explain that paragraph from his book, Thanks.

Self responsibility and accountability is part of professionalism. The professionalism in the world of cricket, especially Test playing nations, has increased to a level that Pakitan has not maintained. Today, PCT and PCB is less proessionals than lot of associate teams. They are now at amateur level and their test status should be revoked if they don't improve by the end of next WTC.
There's a lot of criticism going on about Pakistan's home test record but people over look our home test record was quite terrible from 1997 till 2009. From 1997-2002 Pakistan didn't win a single test series at home. From 2002-2003 they won test series at home against NZ, Ban, SA. From 2005-2006 they won series at home against Eng, India, WI. But apart from 2002-3 and 2005-6 Pakistan were unable to win any other series at home from 1997-2009. During this period they lost at home to SL twice, SA twice, Zim, Aus, Eng, India. Can you guys please find give a rational for why Pak was so poor in home tests from 1997-2009 and particularly from 1997-2002? This is made all the more shocking because Pak didn't lose a test series at home from 1981-1995. Can anyone of you tell me why pakistan doesn't produce a spinning track like every other asian team ? Any half decent domestic spinner would give harder time to touring batsman on a spinning pitch that whatever been happening. Are the current lot of spinners in pak so bad or are the current batsman so incapable of playing spin that there is a fear of this strategy firing back against them? I just don't get it. Spinning track also helps the ball in reversing due to its abrasive nature. This must be the safest bet , better than anything they have been trying with these flat surfaces.
