- A trailer-styled DooM Eternal video with classic doom sounds and, in a way, visuals :)
It's a shorter version of • Classic DooM Eternal -...
where this whole video served as "Demo Reel" - a kind of gameplay footage you would see in the original DooM games main menu screens before you began playing xD.
The idea of adding a comedic tone at the end of the original was a kind of injoke at how DooM and DooM2 would show cool map runs recorded by the developers that were the shit (when you were a kid) and surpassed your own gameplay by far (initially that is).
In case you're wondering why the video looks 'awful', it's been edited in sony vegas. I picked up footage from Bethesda's trailers and tv spot (yes the bad one), making them look resembling as if being recorded in an older PC from the 90s.
Granted the widescreen wasn't a thing.

If Doom fans from the 90's saw this, their minds would blown away with overwhelming adrenaline, testosterone, and metal for the hype.
Not to mention few nods and callbacks to the original I left in there 😂
The super shotty reloading sequence for example.
Too bad if people from the 90s saw it, they would have to wait 20+ years for the games release.

despite the old style effect. It still Reminds you of doom. You know, there's a pre order that will give you the classic SFX of guns i wonder if they can give the SFX of the monsters as well.
That'd be very interesting. I just tried removing the visual effects (pixels, screen, etc) while keeping the classic sounds and they seem match great in 60FPS.
Or maybe that's just the nostalgia speaking for me 😁.

You should remove every 2nd frame to give it that 90s effect
Oh I tried decreasing FPS from 60 to in between 15-30 in most clips, sometimes lower, without making them too sluggish. Might have been lenient in some though.

Some were inverted, others had their pitch lowered/raised
I.E. Unmaker lasers = Inverted plasma bolt at 3:34
I have not heard sounds of the first 2 Doom games, I should go check those out

@@fatihmericozarslan3245 It's almost the same video but without the pixeling, blue-ish TV screen, and low FPS. Added extra scenes from the launch trailer, removed some, and toyed around with camera effects. Uploading it atm.
