I think Blanka amd Yoshimitsu my childhood video game characters that teaches me "Never judge book by it's cover" They look so intimidating yet the story is the most wholesome among all their rosters, one is basically mommy's boi and the other one is steal the rich and give it to the poor (Robin Hood Persona).
This show literally brings me back to my Middle school years. kids and teens that grew up in the 90s and early 2000s got it all I'm glad and blessed I grew up in that era great memories, now kids all they know is watching kids on RUclips being spoiled or watching other people play games 💔

And i always though that he is green because Capcom never took Street Fighter seriously. Thus they decided to make him green and colorful, to attract kids.
Blanka was always my ORIGINAL Favorite of Street Fighter... hell, he was one of the characters i originally loved PERIOD. the only other characters i loved before him was Batman, Stripe the Gremlin, Godzilla, The Ninja Turtles, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Jason Voorhees, and Wolverine.. all in that order! then i found out about Street Fighter one Fateful day and OH BOY that was a rabbit hole! then i found out about other Characters i still love to this day as well as the roster before, such as The Toxic Avenger, Scorpion/Sub-Zero, then i flushed both of them for REPTILE!.... Then Shang Tsung "from MK2" THEN AKUMA! i could go on all day lol...

This guy was one of my favorites. I was pretty good at immediately going into electric-shell mode as soon as I landed from a jump attack. I alternated between using him, Chun-Li, and E-Honda. His story kind of sucked back then, so I'm glad they are fleshing it out now... took long enough. I'd still like to know what made him mutate into a beast-man, in-canon... that's still kind of ambiguous. Having that electrical elemental power (in the Street Fighter universe) can be a learned skill, but the rest... some 'xplainin needs to be done.
The character that I used the most next to ryu as a kid on the old snes in the early 2000s. My dad had one laying around at the time and so it became my first console.
He was Carlos Blanka in the Street Fighter Movie. He was like that becase he was experimented on by General Bison with Dhalsim serving as the head scientist. Love this movie as a kid because I was obsessed by video games. LOL.
When SF 2 was out on Snes in 90's the description was he was cursed during is journey in the amazonian jungle by chaman that's how he has been transformed

Nothing to do with Guile's dead war buddy. Charlie Nash was killed by Bison in Alpha 2, and was brought back as a zombie in SF5.

He saw Capoeira; he had no idea it was. Blanka decide to take dancing lession. Following next day, Brazilian gang bully pick blanka mom. He beat up dozen of Brazilian jiu-jitsu gangs. Her mom went missing. This how street fighter 2 story goes. Blanka finds mama.
Street Fighter the movie, did a lot of things wrong... But I was still entertained as a 9-year-old watching it. But what they did with Blanka, was blasphemous!
