This is indeed an engineering feat accomplished by the Chinese. The glass bridge is wide and you should be able to cross if you don't look down. The glass skywalk by the cliff is the scary one.
The majestic views from Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge are truly breathtaking.☝️🌟 Through your realistic video footage, we understood its powerful and longest! There’s a bungee jump indicated on the screen, which is an exciting activity. We think that this video footage is brimming with perspective and exudes charm, even conveying a sense of dynamism in the video work!✨ Yosh and Iku
I had always wanted to visit this bridge after seeing it in the news a few years ago. Glad that I went. The Chinese engineers deserve our praise and appreciation for achieving this feat. The bridge felt solid when I walked there. I hope it will stay solid during heavy storms. The scenery there was beautiful.
I wonder how they built this glass bridge across the canyons. It must be an engineering feat. I'm sure you will enjoy your trip. Do plan for more time and enjoy the hikes or zipline after crossing the bridge. Bungee jump if you dare. Also visit Zhangjiajie Scenic area (Avatar), Fenghuang Ancient City etc. Can skip Baofeng Lake.
@@SingaporeCityWalks Thanks for the tips. I'm planning five nights in the area (3 in Wulingyuan and 2 in Zhangjiajie town) to explore the park and Tianmen respectively
@@jayinbold Jay for your 3 nights at Wulingyuan, I suppose you will be staying outside the scenic area. Do you know that you can stay at local farm houses INSIDE the scenic area. Trip.com will have a few listings for AB&B type of lodgings inside. These are locals who decided to stay with their farms inside the area despite the government trying to get them to move out. Rooms are decent, aircon/heater not working well in winter. squating flushing toilet, food is fresh from the farm but may not suit western taste buds. The plus point is that you get to see sunset and sunrise. Farmers have cars and will drive you to your first scenic spot and you will be on your own. Farmers speak only Mandarin, so consider this option of staying inside if you can speak a bit of Mandarin. Staying inside for 1 night should be enough. The other 2 nights can be outside. You can fly drone at Wulingyuan. But I think you cannot fly drone at Tianmen, as that is near airport.
Thank you for sharing this glass bridge tour. The music you used matches the exotic traditional atmosphere really well. I admire these brave people's courage ! I would definitely get too scared because of the height :O I wonder if the bridge would shake with strong wind. These ladies were having a lot of fun there. The scenery is truly breathtaking though, I heard these mountains used to have lots of bandits living there LOL I am more scared of the glass skywalk for sure! would never walking on it, the ziplining people are superheroes to me, this is insane! It was cute the lady caught your drone.
I had always wanted to walk on this glass bridge after seeing it in the news. It wasn't built when I 1st visited Zhanjiajie many years ago. It looks and feels sturdy, but I believe the forces of nature are greater than human engineering. I think it would shake if the wind is strong. The glass bridge is wide, therefore not frightening. However the cliff skywalk is narrow and would be scary. Bungee jumping is out for me. Ziplining across the canyon needs courage. I might do this if I travelled alone. The scenery at the Grand Canyon is beautiful. A different type of scenery will be seen in my next videos... the Karst landscapes of Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan Scenic Area.
Was it cold when you visited here in winter? because I remember visiting during the mild spring season, but I can't remember what the temperature was like
There are 2 exits. You can exit the same way as the entrance, which was what I did. You can also take the lift down the canyon and hike to a far exit. You have to arrange for transport to pick you up from there. I didn't go there so don't know how that's done.
@@SingaporeCityWalks oh that’s brilliant thanks for that. I don’t think I would do the far exit, as I will be travelling with my mum who’s abit struggles with a lot stairs. But thanks for your input
@@druggy216 You can bring your mum to follow the short route I took. The cliff side glass walk is cool and has a nice view of the glass bridge. There's some stairs to climb though. Have fun!

Men are so incredible!!! Their ability to create and build such marvelous structures are beyond amazing. 😊❤️
Thank you Ms Loving for leaving this beautiful comment 😀
Beautiful scenery, and wonderful engineering, but I don't think I would be able to cross that bridge!

Zhangjiajie is a very good place for tourists
This glass bridge is a must-visit attraction. It's wonderful to be there.
🎉❤ Выше всякой похвалы🎉❤ хотелось бы там побывать 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Thank you for your comment. This is a beautiful place to visit. It's near the 'Avatar' mountains too.
Hunan, China 🇨🇳 here, I come 😊

Visited at end of November. It was early winter and cold. The temperature was probably around 12 deg C.

According to the videos this bridge can hold 800 Chinese people so that means just 300 Americans.
and only 1 of your mom.

Support up to 800 Americans if they stop eating McDonalds
There’s a reason why USA size is a extra size bigger!!!
Only in USA thy sell you diet pills!!!

We Americans want the same "no visa necessary" status!!!
Both leaders must shake hands first.
It will need to be mutual and trump will call "chinese pouring in"
