Beautiful painting of Ruby. And the box with her ashes is lovely. We lost both our dogs in 2020. Three months apart - one old age and the other cancer - was a hard year. I still have their ashes here beside me and a wall montage of pictures of them over the years. Still miss them every day - family. We have two rescue dogs now - you'll know when the time is right to get another dog. Great idea to get a truck load of compost and soil. I bought bags and bags over the years - expensive! We do make our own compost but it is never enough! So many plans - will be a busy and exciting summer for you two. It is fun to see your progress and different projects.
We talk about getting another dog one day and it will more than likely be a rescue like Ruby was. Owning pets is becoming such a financial luxury now that it’s a big decision financially and emotionally! Like you said, we’ll know when or if we’re ready. I was surprised at how having her ashes brought a sense of peace and closure I guess. Ohh working on making my own compost system now but probably won’t have any to use for a couple years and I have a feeling I won’t have enough either.
Ruby's box is so pretty, as she was. She's back home. 💕 The painting is beautiful, and what a talented artist. Your gardens are coming along, now that Spring temps are with us. I'm planting 25 strawberry plants tomorrow, so excited! Blessings to you. 🙏
Oh her box is beautiful! And the Ruby is perfect. Not Brock Cooper? A friend of ours from ON. Lol wow that is a lot of soil moved in one day! Our daughter’s dog passed inMarch, our dog’s sister littermate. And our 5yr old grandson said of her ashes,oh I am so glad that’s shes home, I didn’t want her to be in the never lands.❤ yes it definitely is hard isn’t it. I missed your last video. Back I go.

I want to plant strawberries too. I need to figure out where though!
I planted them in my GreenStalk tower. This is a wonderful system.
