Cheryl I love this Sherlock journal, way to go !! It's awesome, the paper the colours and a really great download. Your talent in making journals sure Shine in this one. I always enjoy your RUclipss and I appreciate you sharing your tips putting in the eyelet. Way cool journal 👍🏻
I looked at the cover and thought, "hmmmmm am I gonna like this?" LOL amazing and south a grant idea for those who prefer less frill. This would make a great gift for guys or gals who enjoy Sherlock. Thank you for all the info and helpful tips. Especially like the new stamp.
Hi Cheryl! I never saw this until now! I LOVE it so much! I love your corner punches and different textures of paper you used. I loved all of your stamp work! I love damask too :) So much creativity! I think your style for SH is spot on with the distressed, grunge look! It is just gorgeous work! Hugs...Jen
Wow cool journal Cheryl, love the no frills look : ) Thanks for the eyelet and closure how-to, I think my next purchase will be the Crop-a-dile punch and eyelet setter : )
Awesome book Cheryl! I love the use of the eyelets and the safety pin. I will be trying that! Great use for the thousands of eyelets that never get used. lol! I really like the Steampunk/Masculine look to this book.
Dreams Etz is also on RUclips, she is a sweetheart and makes such beautiful journals and I have bought some, but they are so precious I can't bear to do anything with them so far! I love her digital papers too and I would love to make a Sherlock Holmes journal. Thank you for sharing yours.
Love this journal and thank you for sharing your scientific method of eyeballing it's the best method I use it too😂😂😂I am definitely going to get a Cropadile hopefully they are available in Australia. Thank you for sharing💕🌸💕😘
Thank you so much for the link to the corner flip up. I can see a lot of possibilities for this and I can incorporate this into the album I am currently making. You're wonderful!
Very cool journal Cheryl !! As always love watching your videos.Sometime could you do a start to finish video on your journals ?? Just turn on the camera and let us watch you make these ?? I'm sure no one would mind if they are long or in parts ?? Thanks for sharing !! xoxo Kelly
Another amazing book, Cheryl, love it! TFS. Thanks also for the eyelet tutorial. You know what? I've been having a crop-a-dile for quite a few years now and never realized that A went with 1, B with 2 and so on, always had to check the instructions! Am I silly or what? LOL So thanks for the inspiration and for opening my mind!
Amazing journal Cheryl! You make steam punk look good! And extra love the corner pinch and washi on corners and the different size papers and love the usage of real books from digital downloads. Tina from Vectoria sent Alice in Wonderland in her newsletter emails so I have been thinking of ways of incorporating it since then and I got at least 2 from you just now.
Cheryl another fantastic journal. Thanks for explain that "cropadile" hope I said that right. I have been nervous to buy one, it's a big investment and a atg purchase that proved not s wonderful and has me gun shy. take care for now 😊Penny
Fran, I super liked this one! I should have known you would do something to the hairband instead of using black like I did. You always go three or more steps more :)
I was afraid I wasn't going to like this one since it's such a departure from your others (that I love, love).....BUT I like it, I like it:) Of course, you do a beautiful job with everything you do....soooo creative.
Another great journal and tutorial. When you check the eyelet to make sure that the teeth are all separating, if they aren't, what do you do? Is it removable?
If you only knew how many times I've stopped by just to sneak a peek at this beauty lol! I will be making my first journal this week...minimal supplies... definitely no painting and no spines yet. This is a gift for my daughter to take with her on a trip, so I thought a file folder might be a good idea but now it seems too floppy. You said you used kraftex.. that's floppy.... I looked it up...why isn't your cover floppy? Your cover seems flexible but offers protection from suitcase. How can I harden mine up?
You show a flip up corner page at about 12:06 and mention that everyone is doing now but this is new to me. Can you tell me who does a tutorial on this and where to find it? I am doing a "Penny Emporium" album at the moment and I'd love to incorporate this idea into my pages. Thanks for any help you can give me.
absolutely stunning. love it. could you please tell me which damask stamp that was on the tag and the cog stamp in the top right corner page? thanks for taking the time to reply.
Love the journal! I was just wondering if I could send you some Manila envelopes that I have in all sizes, I know you have a great ideas on what to do with them! Your very good at it, I love watching all your videos! Marcia Morrow
Another amazing creation!! Great digis!! Love it!! I have a question for you...I have NEVER had any luck with those back pieces that go on the eyelet (can't remember for the life of me what they are called at the moment!...lol) to give the backside a more finished appearance...do you have any tips for getting that to come out decent looking? TFS!! :)
There is an up and down. If you look closely, you can see one side is concave. You want the rounder side facing you. Make sure your eyelet is pushed right against the paper so there is no ridge. Try that, hopefully it will make a difference for you.
This is great!! The perfect theme for no frills. I was impressed that you could spray a downloaded page without smearing. What printer and ink do you use? Thanks so much for sharing all the clever things you do.
The stamp set, I'm not locating it. Was it by The Paper Studio, flourish? I searched but not seeing. I especially like the one that might work on an inside corner. Could it have been another manufacturer?
Here you go, I found it on ebay www.ebay.ca/itm/TPC-STUDIO-Clear-Stamps-FLOURISH-Scrolls-Scribbles-Dots-/120916187508?hash=item1c272a9974:m:mRMIplJp5Ma3TjwQOk6_NsA
Fabulous! I still can't wrap my brain around how you get your covers to look that "real".... Perhaps one day another tip, tricks video on just covers in different stages....where do you buy the enamel for embossing? Thanks so much Cheryl!
Your work just about leaves me breathless, Cheryl! And I am loving those hitch post fasteners - I have to find some of those - I don't recall ever seeing them in JoAnn's - But then, I've never looked for them specifically either. I have a question, when you make these one signature journals with kraft-tex, do you double the thickness of the kraft-tex? Yes, I'm in the middle of making one for my grand daughter for Christmas, and it is just one signature, but I don't know if I should double it - what do you think? Thank you for these great videos, and thanks also for your time:-)
It isn't necessary to double it if you are putting card stock to the outside and inside. That's how I make mine all the time. Having said that, I have also doubled it up, and that is nice too. Using it singly will save you some money though, and I like the flexiblity of it. It is really strong stuff. I just used it to make the bottom and top of my tote bag.
Thank you for sharing!, I love all ur videos so far!, :) I have never printed before, can I ask where u choose ur printable a and how and what you use??
I spend a lot of time on Etsy, but I also watch a lot of video's that have steered me to some great designers. I use a Canon inkjet printer, and I print on a 32lb matte photo paper. I buy it online from redriverpaper.com

Sometimes, you just have to change it up, if only to get your true mojo back lol. I also wanted to do one that was more masculine
Awesome journal! I never tried a masculine paper project. It must be difficult to embellish. TFS. Tere

I want one. I love it!
The best compliment
Ohhh, this is another beauty! Aren't those Prima paints awesome? I have a few colors but want them all, lol.
They really are
Another great journal and tutorial. When you check the eyelet to make sure that the teeth are all separating, if they aren't, what do you do? Is it removable?
They are, but I use small pliers to bend them
If you only knew how many times I've stopped by just to sneak a peek at this beauty lol! I will be making my first journal this week...minimal supplies... definitely no painting and no spines yet. This is a gift for my daughter to take with her on a trip, so I thought a file folder might be a good idea but now it seems too floppy. You said you used kraftex.. that's floppy.... Only if it is black and white. I have a Canon and use Canon ink
Nice. The cover reminds me of the Almanac books.
Thanks Karen
Truly gorgeous
Thank you Susan
Another excellent video! I'm just amazed at your creativity and craft(wo)manship.
Have you ever done a Doctor Who themed book?
No, I haven't. I have to admit, I've never really watched Dr Who. I've been meaning to since it's on Netflix now. Yet another journal to make lol
It's a fun show.
I will give it a go, thanks
The stamp set, I'm not locating it. Was it by The Paper Studio, flourish? I searched but not seeing. I especially like the one that might work on an inside corner. Could it have been another manufacturer?

Cheryl, I got them thank you!!!
Fabulous! I still can't wrap my brain around how you get your covers to look that "real".... Perhaps one day another tip, tricks video on just covers in different stages....where do you buy the enamel for embossing? Thanks so much Cheryl!
I usually get it online from Joann.com
The papers have a 3D look to them that gives it that depth.
Your work just about leaves me breathless, Cheryl! Thanks for watching
wow I know iam late but that's awsome..where do u sale your journals
www.Delygirl-Creations.myshopify.com
I would like this one too... I am from Spain ( as you can guess by my bad english). Is that a problem to ship?
No, I don't because of the shipping costs. And the journal has already sold, sorry.
This is awesome!
Thank you Alexis
Oh how beautiful, I love Sherlock Holmes!
Thank you Anastasia
Thank you for sharing!, I love all ur videos so far!, :) I have never printed before, can I ask where u choose ur printable a and how and what you use??
I spend a lot of time on Etsy, but I also watch a lot of video's that have steered me to some great designers. I use a Canon inkjet printer, and I print on a 32lb matte photo paper. I buy it online from redriverpaper.com
+delygirl1961 thank you so much! I can't believe that is inkjet. I thot for sure it would have been laser jet!! wonderful!! thank you again. :). 💖💖💖💖
+CraftyTime with Cat Pearson You're welcome
My triplet sister and I laugh because she always calls tracing paper tissue! Great minds and all that. I really like the book; how many hours would you estimate that you put in to a journal? I'm just getting started and love your channel!
I can usually craft for about 5 hours at a time. It usually takes me a week, so about 30 to 40 hours. It really depends if I want to do a lot of mixed media, or a ton of stamping and stenciling
Where do you get those post thingys for the closure??
I got them from Joann.com. They are called hitch fasteners I believe
Thank you, do they post to the UK? ?
Not sure Karen. If I were you though, I would Google search the item to see if it is available in the UK
Thank you very much 😊
This is a fab book!
Thanks Jamie
Is "efemra" ( not sure of spelling)name of paper?
It is the add on pieces, like tags, pieces you cut out and glue, or journal boxes that have patterns on them etc
It is awesome !
Thank you Tracy
Very clever!
Thank you Karen
I love those prima paints
They work great. Even after showering, I still have some on my finger nail lol
lol,,,many times I have gone out with ink under my nails in the hopes no one notices. lol
is it Christy arts?
Is what Christy Arts?
