One can say I'm a fan because I have a collection of Harry Potter books on my shelves despite my older age hahaha. I am not drawn to themed decks like this since I feel it's about making profits. The only themed deck I have is an impulse buy at a bookstore, the Alice in Wonderland - no regrets there. Watching your review though has left me more inclined to obtain the deck. It is much better than I thought and a good guidebook too! Thanks for sharing
It is completely different than what I was expecting with a themed deck, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think there's value in it, I just am not sure how I will utilize it for divination just yet
I like the concept of it because I am a harry potter fan but I don’t like the way that they put the definition in the back . I think I must close my eyes shuffling it otherwise I could be biased hahaha .🤣
I also don't Iike the fact that there are 8 repeating images on the cards rather than a different image on each card. Especially since the guidebook includes them. I was really looking forward to getting this deck but I'm just not sure how well it will work as a divinatory tool with these various issues. I've thought about maybe writing keywords on the cards and/or using them as spread positions or to generate reading topics.

As a sensitive Ravenclaw I think you are a very joyful person and I love to listen to your readings. Anyway, I got this deck a few days ago and I started to make Tarot Spreads for each card, because there are not many Harry Potter themed spreads out there. Soo much fun! I don't watch any news etc so I wasn't really sure exactly what you were meaning about JK R, but I google searched & it said she seemed to have certain outspoken & offensive views on transgender ppl & civil rights. Is that what you meant? If so, is she for real!!? What has she got against ppl!? Sorry but I'm kinda shocked & somewhat disillusioned by the fact that the writer of a series I've loved for many years has such negative viewpoints about society. The cards are pretty cool though... Not something I’d normally look at seriously but this looks very useful for journalling prompts or meditation.
