ok... so the Cinnamon Dolce scrub is BACK at Target online!!!! Just wanted to drop the link in case you are interested! (affiliate link) go.shopmy.us/p-10016899
i love this little comment section community! im in my 20s and here i am watching and enjoying the same youtube video as a 72 yr old. really nice to experience everyone coming together for the things we love!
thanks for posting this today ❤ I'm severely depressed and having a hard time taking care of myself, this video motivated me to brush my teeth and do my full skincare routine
I totally understand how you're feeling. I also struggle with depression, which makes self care and hygiene feel impossible most days. I also struggle with keeping my house liveable. Hang in there and be kind to yourself. ❤
Lauren is a big comfort creator for me too when I am depressed or anxious! It's awesome that you managed to do all of your skincare, I know it can be a monumental task some days ❤ it gets better by doing these little things, I've found. Hope your mental health is getting better quickly!
I so grateful to you and creators like you that spend your money so that we don't have to. I mean that in the BEST way. Like it's so easy to get swept up in what people are raving about, so it's really refreshing to know there's at least one creator I follow that mentions the things that just aren't worth it. So, thank you!!!
Tip on the Mrs Meyers hand soap…. Don’t wet both your hands before putting the soap on. Put the soap in a dry hand, wet the other hand, and then rub your hands together Sounds strange, but I get such better lather that way and it doesn’t thin the soap out
You describe products in such detail, it’s so helpful. Even when you don’t personally prefer the product you still give us a full rundown and suggest who might like it. Products are SO expensive I hate risking a big purchase and your descriptions are so helpful in making my decisions!!
Yeahh I don't believe in the idea that you have to deal with a purging when it comes to deodorant. Like are these people becoming nose blind to their B.O. or is there some kind of science to this? 😂
I used natural deodorant for some time, I got compliments, but I re applied with secret throughout the day.. I definitely sweated 10x more. The pits were usually wet. Not for me. 😅
Natural deodorant is exactly that, deodorant, meant to cover up odor - natural or not, it won't stop you from sweating. You need antiperspirant for that
Not even a product tester or influencer and just tossed a bunch of stuff! If I don't like it, I'm not finishing it!!!! Also, the Dove Holiday body scrubs are out!!! OMG. Smell so good!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Can you do a video where you show us your least favorite shade in a bunch of palettes? I think it’s fun to see what shades people grades people aren’t feeling
As a thin and fine haired gal, and also a stylist, i love the kevin murphy plumping wash and rinse. Smells great too! I wash my hair like once a week bc accutane really eliminated the oil to my scalp 🤣 but every time i do, i use kevin murphy maxi wash first! And then the plumping wash/rinse (shampoo/conditioner) soooo good!
skin1004 centella sunscreen is THE BEST i swear!! i have oily skin, and it’s sooo lightweight, does not make me greasy or shiny. plus it does not leave a cast, so you can put a lot (which is needed for spf)
I know this would be more suited for your fragrance channel, but Lush is bringing out some new perfumes and body sprays at the end of the month (shops and online), one of them is super milk 😊
It’s so interesting to see how different people view products and scents. The Amika shampoo and conditioner are my number one favorite and I love the smell.
For barrier repair that isn’t crazy expensive : La Roche posay! I have been using the lipikar baume AP+ as my face cream even though it’s a body cream and it’s so great for my skin in winter. Really nice under makeup! All of their products are formulated for sensitive skin so their actives are not as intense and they have a lot of sensitive skin friendly options / and extra sensitive skin line / eczema / babies as young as 6 months!
I noticed the Cos RX snail mucin. I use it after washing and toning and it really does add an extra bit of hydration now that I'm getting older and my skin,in spite of an oily t zone, is getting dryer. It even makes the texture look smoother
I have the tree hut sparkling topaz scrub right now and it's so tropical and yummy. My husband loves it too. I love scrubbing my body. It releases tension for me and makes my skin soft.
The round lab dokdo cleanser is my favorite 😍 its creamy and rich but still does the work. Its my favorite after removing makeup with a melting balm. Currently using the cosrx good morning (i think) cleanser. Its ok, just smells like tea tree, not my fav
I selected the Amika Mirrorball set in a prior FabFitFun box and was excited to try them, but my hair hated both the shampoo and conditioner! I even tried them separately a couple times, but every time it made my hair look weighted down and lifeless.
Cinnamon dolce Tree Hut is the best scent they ever made. The last years releases were all duds for me. So happy the scrub is back but I need them to make it permanent and come out w/ the body cream, shave oil, and shower gel. I love it so much
The phlur deodorant would be great for a night deodorant, you know when you take your shower at night and want something without aluminum to stay fresh until the morning?
This might sound weird, but I do the opposite (aluminum deodorant in the P.M.). I saw Dr. Dray (dermatologist on RUclips) say to use antiperspirant deodorant at night so the aluminum has time to work. I was shocked, but it works for me. I don’t need to reapply deodorant in the morning when I apply at night after a shower, but would make an exception if the deodorant smelled amazing lol.
Ok. The Sarah Creal is seriously beautiful and I’m 42. Hospice nurse. Easy 12-15 hours wear. Without looking terrible by the end. Plus, since it’s dual purpose I feel price is justified. Definitely will repurchase
i lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvee the eve lom... sorry it did not work for you. it leaves my skin soooo soft.... thanks for your video by the way xo keep up the good work
Honestly, the only thing helping against b.o. is antitranspirant. Everything else just puts a fragrance layer over body odour. Antitranspirant helps to combat sweat and bacteria. Use it in the evening so it can work its magic during the night where you sweat less. I love my MAC Fix+ matte, but the pump is $hit. I had to exchange the first I ordered last year because the pump wasn't working anymore and then 4 months later the pump of the exchange wasn't working either. I now use a different bottle for the setting spray. The product is good, the bottle and pump are not so much. Does anyone else have the same problem with the pump? It always happens when I'm halfway through. I mean, I only paid 11€ during the singles day, but that still ain't cheap - especially when getting multiple.
Hey Lauren, nice video! I bought that Farmacy cleansing balm set as well and those were so tiny! I thought oh I get try different scents for like a week each tub. What?!
"It made me smell like ANOTHER" lmaoo. Thank you for these Lush mentions I am def gonna go check them out in store! And I too am unusually obsessed with hand soaps
It’s not fear mongering😂 fear mongering is spreading fear through rumor. Antiperspirant when you look up the reason for having the aluminum says “it is to block your pores so you do not sweat” blocking pores isn’t good. Does it cause all of those side effects? More research is needed to be honest. I’m not taking the risk considering basic things in the United States seem to cause disease. But our bodies are meant to sweat. If anything we should be more concerned why the industry thinks the human body shouldn’t act normal? And I have extra smelly coworkers in my life😂 and I personally can smell horrendous! I use deodorant and make sure to reapply throughout the day. Deodorant is fine antiperspirant is what can get crazy. And both can cause skin issues.
When I switched to a natural deodorant (Native) it took my armpits about 2 weeks to not be so angry lol. Now there is no itching or redness at all and it has been about a year. Also I felt like at first I still stunk too, but after those two weeks I didn’t stink anymore with the deodorant. From what I understand, Traditional deodorant (antiperspirant) clogs the pores of your armpits which is how they stop the scent, particularly with aluminum etc. So in a sense, yes there is a bit of a detox/purging process. But I’m sure it is different for everyone! And I am also sure the process of switching isn’t for everyone either. I had to due to allergic reactions from deodorant I used for years 😭😔
I am with you on the Eve Lom. I can not STAND that cleansing balm! The smell 🤢 and it doesn't even remove my makeup!! I'm gonna have to sell what I have because I ended up with 2, unfortunately. 😢 Love the vid!!
I have a deodorant that matches my perfume but only kind of works, so I use an unscented antiperspirant underneath. Might be a good option for the Phlur deo
Speaking of hand soaps, have you tried any of the Loopha hand/body washes? They’re a Deciem brand like The Ordinary but for scented body products. I’d be curious what you think of them.
Yeah I got influenced into buying the Phlur deodorant and will not be repurchasing. It smells really good (this is coming from someone who is VERY picky with gourmand scents) but I feel like it doesn’t work as well as I’d hoped. In order to get my moneys worth I’ve been putting it on top of a deodorant that works for me that has a scent that doesn’t clash with vanilla skin.
I need to know if you have tried the toasted vanilla Downy scent beads and if you have please tell me your thoughts lol anything vanilla I need to know what you think okay byeee love you
I never use scent beads but the toasted vanilla scent called to me! Unfortunately it didn’t smell like vanilla to me, just a generic perfume-y smell. Still used them up but honestly my clothes didn’t retain any of their scent at all.
run, don’t walk, away from that josh rosebrook product - I was using “green” products during my pregnancies but whatever essential oil blend they use left me with what looked like chapped skin for YEARS. I ran out while travelling and just picked up some avene at a pharmacy and within a week my face looked like it used to.
I just use my hands but sometimes when a scrub has larger particles or a mix of sizes it can be more harsh feeling! I think trying gloves could be a good idea and if you use scrubbing gloves you can get a scrub result with any scented body wash you like!
The shampoo and conditioner I received in fab fit fun and Lord I tried to love it but my hair felt gross every time I used it and it goes on 4eva. I repurposed as toilet cleaner
lol I lovvveee the Phlur vanilla skin deodorant but I also have such a weird relationship with Deodorant that when I find something good I have to stick to it! Idk why it’s 20$ tho 😭Saltair has the same thing for 11.99!
I am not an influencer and I am fed up with how many cosmetics brands there are. So, I use skincare by Avène; Cétaphil; and either Bioderma or Marcelle (a French Canadian brand).
I don’t wear deodorant anymore, it’s been about six years now since I stopped, I don’t shave either and I found that as soon as I started using a scrub on my underarms, combined with whatever body lotion I’m using I don’t stink lol but I’m also not a big sweater in that area so I can’t speak on that part lol 😆 but anyway I enjoyed the video, as always you are such a delight 💜
ok... so the Cinnamon Dolce scrub is BACK at Target online!!!! Just wanted to drop the link in case you are interested! (affiliate link) go.shopmy.us/p-10016899
Omg you should try the PLouise express avant calendar you won’t be disappointed!
I am 72 and I absolutely love your videos! And you too! And I especially enjoy opening the Advent calendars with you!
i love this little comment section community! im in my 20s and here i am watching and enjoying the same youtube video as a 72 yr old. really nice to experience everyone coming together for the things we love!
I'm 50 and I'm a fan too! 💖
I’m 66 also a fan!!!
56 also a fan
60 here lol
Lauren your skin is GIVING
🥰🥰
Other than a good skincare routine I think she just as good genes! She will definitely be ageless when she gets older.
The lighting at the beginning was heavenly 💫✨
thanks for posting this today ❤ I'm severely depressed and having a hard time taking care of myself, this video motivated me to brush my teeth and do my full skincare routine
I totally understand how you're feeling. I also struggle with depression, which makes self care and hygiene feel impossible most days. I also struggle with keeping my house liveable. Hang in there and be kind to yourself. ❤
wishing you the best!!!

It's awesome that you managed to do all of your skincare, I know it can be a monumental task some days ❤ it gets better by doing these little things, I've found. Hope your mental health is getting better quickly!
@jamiedelgado1484 thank you ❤️
I'm sorry you're going through this and just wanted to tell you that you are not alone ❤❤❤
"Why do I keep my trash to show you guys?" 🤣🤣🤣 I also question why I love empties videos so much but I can't help myself. They're great. 🤷🏼♀️🤣
I like these videos because they inspire me to declutter all my old stuff or things I simply do no need.
I so grateful to you and creators like you that spend your money so that we don't have to. I mean that in the BEST way. Seriously, I need this though bc I'm terrible at "letting go" products I hate!
lol I always want to give things “one more chance” and then I still can’t 🤣
Yeahh I don't believe in the idea that you have to deal with a purging when it comes to deodorant. Like are these people becoming nose blind to their B.O. or is there some kind of science to this? 😂
Yeah, it’s not a real thing 😂
It’s not real. There is no science to it.
I used natural deodorant for some time, I got compliments, but I re applied with secret throughout the day.. I definitely sweated 10x more. The pits were usually wet. Not for me. 😅
Natural deodorant is gross.
Natural deodorant is exactly that, deodorant, meant to cover up odor - natural or not, it won't stop you from sweating. You need antiperspirant for that

Yes her and the welsh twins
skin1004 centella sunscreen is THE BEST i swear!! i have oily skin, and it’s sooo lightweight, does not make me greasy or shiny. plus it does not leave a cast, so you can put a lot (which is needed for spf)

"smelled like the skin of another" 😂😂 I get that!!
Loved this long chatty hangout. Always good to see what you're loving atm 😍
Omg I love that you have so many Korean skincare products 🥰
I love so many of them!!! 😊
It’s so interesting to see how different people view products and scents. The Amika shampoo and conditioner are my number one favorite and I love the smell.
You look great in that color shirt you’re wearing - makes your eyes pop. I need to purge big time. You’re motivating me. ❤
Your channel is the best and your fragrance channel as well, i never miss em!
For barrier repair that isn’t crazy expensive : La Roche posay! I have been using the lipikar baume AP+ as my face cream even though it’s a body cream and it’s so great for my skin in winter. You are so glowing in this lighting. I swear you would kill in a buzz cut, the slicked back is also so classic
You said Le right. I’m so proud of you 😭
The Mrs. Meyers tomato vine scent is EVERYTHING … fighting the urge to hoard it - loveee
I LOVE that Mrs Meyers tomato vine for spring - now I’m loving the apple cider and the elderberry. Mmmm.
I noticed the Cos RX snail mucin. I use it after washing and toning and it really does add an extra bit of hydration now that I'm getting older and my skin,in spite of an oily t zone, is getting dryer. It even makes the texture look smoother

Hi Lauren - living your makeup today - hoping for a tutorial!!
Lazy Sunday Morning in my HG ❤ comfort in a bottle
The phlur deodorant would be great for a night deodorant, you know when you take your shower at night and want something without aluminum to stay fresh until the morning?
Yeah I will have to try it that way! lol hopefully it won’t go stinky on me in that time!!

Lauren! Shopping the Ulta sale rn & “I’m not surprised” all these holiday sets are already on sale 😂
I always love your content. I appreciate your take on things as well. Thanks!

So you know the tower 28 hypochlorous acid? It makes a fabulous armpit spray( I get a different brand from amazon)
Cinnamon dolce is back it’s only online
OMG!!!! What?!? Thank you!!
Apparently it’s really common to be allergic to the snail mucin - so if you’re one of those folks that reacts to it, toss!
I wish people would not be afraid of aluminum in their deodorant, fear mongering “clean beauty “ crap lol have a great week 😀
It’s not fear mongering😂 fear mongering is spreading fear through rumor. Antiperspirant when you look up the reason for having the aluminum says “it is to block your pores so you do not sweat” blocking pores isn’t good. Does it cause all of those side effects? I love the Amika shampoo and conditioner and the smell.
I have loved Amika for so many years but agree with her on that particular line. It didn't really do much for my hair.
When I switched to a natural deodorant (Native) it took my armpits about 2 weeks to not be so angry lol. Now there is no itching or redness at all and it has been about a year.
I read at any one time there are 300 scents going through Bath & Body Works. Just from a logical standpoint, that is insane.
Glad to hear some tubing mascara recommendations. I recently got the merit one and I hated it.
If it doesn't work for me, I absolutely get rid of it. Happy Tuesday ❌️ ⭕️
Speaking of hand soaps, have you tried any of the Loopha hand/body washes? They’re a Deciem brand like The Ordinary but for scented body products. I’d be curious what you think of them.
For Eve Lom not my fave but in fairness you need to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Specific way to use
Yeah I got influenced into buying the Phlur deodorant and will not be repurchasing. In order to get my moneys worth I’ve been putting it on top of a deodorant that works for me that has a scent that doesn’t clash with vanilla skin.
I'm clinging on to my last container of the Cinnamon Dolce body scrub too 😔
Life is too short for s5ite products. I refuse to use something I hate and do pass stuff on when it doesn’t work for me.
💯💯💯💯
My 4 and 5 year old are all about the Bath and Body Works hand washes. I buy in bulk at sale time because these kids go through it like crazy.
The Origins Checks and Balances face wash is the face wash equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I can’t explain it. 😂
I love the Tree Hut scrubs. This holiday's released scents were disappointing. I want them to bring back Sweet Cream so bad.
Have you tried the Dove Holiday scrubs? I love them!!! Smell so so so good!!!!
Island Coconut scrub is $5.98 at Walmart.
Lots of other fragrances too!😀
I need to know if you have tried the toasted vanilla Downy scent beads and if you have please tell me your thoughts lol anything vanilla I need to know what you think okay byeee love you
Omg I haven’t tried them…. But now I NEED to! 🩷😊
I didn’t care for them
@@lisat5666 they smelled chemically in the container, didn't want to take a risk on my clothes 😑
Those scent beads are overpowering. I thrift and trying to get that smell off the clothes I find is a chore and a half.
I never use scent beads but the toasted vanilla scent called to me! Unfortunately it didn’t smell like vanilla to me, just a generic perfume-y smell. Still used them up but honestly my clothes didn’t retain any of their scent at all.

Witch shade is that Clinique blush? 😍
Yay I love your videos
YES, after a few times of asking how you do your brows, I finally found out🎉 Thank you Lauren ❤
Great video! You saved me from spending 💰Barbara Strum.
The Eve Lom is actually not a balm, it's meant to be used w a muslin-its beautiful
Have you tried a rinse after a second wash?
Do you use gloves or a tool when you body scrub? Sometimes the scrubs hurt my hands and I was wondering if it was just me😅
I just use my hands but sometimes when a scrub has larger particles or a mix of sizes it can be more harsh feeling!
I saw that bath and body works had dry shampoo? I had no idea!
why the OUAI?
lol I lovvveee the Phlur vanilla skin deodorant but I also have such a weird relationship with Deodorant that when I find something good I have to stick to it!
Am I imagining things or did you do a Louboutin advent calendar video?
I think it’s silly that the Living Proof vanilla dry shampoo is limited edition. It’s so much better than the original scent.
Thanks for the long video
Purge? Oh no. Give something with an AHA a try if you want to go with no aluminum, but don’t live with BO.
Ditto on the Origins Cheeks and Balances.
Using glycolic acid under your arms is supposed to help with B.O.
You apply it once a week and continue using your deodorant daily, as usual.
The DNF from the book community made me giggle a bit:)
The Amika Mirrorball made my hair so dry but stringy - I hated it lol
💕💕💕
Sturm.....guurlll! Anyone that fell for this lable.................i have NO words......🤣🤣🤣

💜💕💜💕💜💕💜
I don’t wear deodorant anymore, it’s been about six years now since I stopped, I don’t shave either and I found that as soon as I started using a scrub on my underarms, combined with whatever body lotion I’m using I don’t stink lol but I’m also not a big sweater in that area so I can’t speak on that part lol 😆 but anyway I enjoyed the video, as always you are such a delight 💜
