If you’ve watched Western media , you’ve probably come across many moments depicting a worrisome and shocking sentiment. Muslim anger, a rage beyond civility, causing fear and anxiety in all those who might be approached by it. This anger though is a myth, or more appropriately labelled, a stereotype that unfortunately is not only orchestrated by the West but also substantiated by a Muslim minority.
This video dives into the various elements of anger within Islam. How it is misrepresentative of the faith and how some Muslims in positions of authority use it to either maintain or consolidate power. Islam’s true stance on anger couldn’t be further from the current false narrative.
