Hi y’all ! So excited for the 2nd lesson! Baby’s napping so I can watch right now!!!
Hope you like it!
Sorry I missed the live! My apartment complex is having inspections and I got distracted with deep cleaning. They're super picky (more than they should be) and I'd rather be crafting.
my starting point is disastrous with all the loose ends/beginnings. Watching where you used the teal & sea foam colours, looks like you have woven in the previous ends/beginnings already. HOW else does one keep from getting a big hole in the back? I understand you said by weaving in the ends, it will close but somehow I got baggy stitches there that I don't get when I don't have loose ends. Maybe this is all beyond my capability?? @Marly Bird. Bless you thought. 🙂
Mine too. A big mess!
I guess I missed the first video. I will check out color choosing and I think I will make for my granddaughter. Maybe done by Christmas 😂
Sure wish you would knit the exact colors in your video as we are working with. It gets very confusing
Wow thank. How beautiful. I learned something new. Thank you.
So glad!
Hi Marly I follow you for years this is my first KAL and I appreciate your help 😊
You are so welcome!
Marly thank you so much. You have taught me so much. Love you Lady😊.
I am really enjoying this pattern. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
How many colors would you use for a Monochromatic version of this Poncho??? I was thinking Teals and Greens? 🤷🏻♀️
That would be beautiful. Check out the choosing colors post and video for some help. :) link in video description.
Wish me luck. I'm a newbie!
Good luck 🤞 😊.
35:00 exact answers my query I was trying to figure out on my first piece … the warm hearts cowl by mountain meadow wool. My learning piece and it’s coming along beautifully
Awesome!
Merci bcp pour votre partage très instructif Marly 👌
Love it
❤❤❤❤❤❤ good after noon loving this poncho ❤❤❤❤
Thank you
🧶😍🥰👏👏👏👍❤️😘
Cant you carry it up the work???
I do not recommend that and explain why in the video.
Thank you for doing these vids but is there some where that we can get the graphs printed like you have them in the vids….I was gonna write them out because that works better for me but OY that’s a lot of writing.
J'ai appris à tricoter de la main droite puis changé de méthode en tricotant de la main gauche pour gagner en vitesse, j'ai hâte d'essayer cette nouvelle façon avec les 2😁
Yay!
Love that Pillow behind you! 😊
Thank you!! 😊
I love 2 handed color work!!!
Is there a video for fixing an error in short-row shaping? I had to frog my neckline ribbing after making an error in short rows and didn't know how to fix it. UGHHH
No. Frogging is really the best way I’ve found.
@@MarlyBird thank you
I would start over, I did twice until I got it right, it will be worth the extra time
I put a lifeline in after the ribbing so I only had to frog to that after messing up the short rows. Also added one before starting chart 1 colorway. Then will only have to frog the colorway if I need to. Hope that helps!😊
Why is it that 60 years ago, when I learned to knit, yarn companies had the technology to let you find the end easily from within a skein of yarn, but now none of them seem to have the technology to do this? I just spent 2 1/2 hours trying to untangle a skein of Paton’s yarn? What the heck!
Not sure. Yarn barf doesn’t bother me that much 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve been knitting for 50 years and I’m still working on improving my technique. I’ve learned a new way to weave in and bury ends. Woo hoo!
I'm getting big holes when I change colors what am I doing wrong
Nothing. Once you weave in your tails the holes will close.
My holes are very big where were changing color yarn what am I doing wrong
You’re doing anything wrong. Once you weave in the ends like I show you in the video the hole should be closed.
Love the design but is there a shawl using this pattern
No, sorry
Watching replay as still on Holiday in Crete. Once back home, hope the ordered yarn is delivered. Very thorough instructions and your Tutorial is SUPERB even for Adventurous Beginner Knitters❤❤❤❤
Wonderful! Thank you for the compliment.
